Staff was friendly and helpful, but the condition of the hotel shows its age and deferred maintenance. But then that is reflected in the price, and that was my priority.

The price was right. The location was right. But this place needs a refurb, especially the bathroom. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was bad. Best price in Cape Cod but unlike other great low priced motels I've been in, this one this didn't make me feel like I got a good deal. It was cheap in price & cheap in quality. If you're not picky, it'll work.

Pictures of the motel looks better than present state. Worse maintenance situation. Room was not cleaned before we enteren . After the first nigt some hoovering was done. The bathroom too small and the bathtub too dirty to be used. Breakfast (included in price) is very very simple (bread, bagels, gelly, butter, thee, coffee and muffins).

Room was clean & basic. Motel is vintage. Staff very friendly & helpful. Would have no problem staying here again.

When we walked into our room there was a smell that was truly unbearable. I immediately went to the desk ready to check out but the front desk clerk offered us another room. Reluctantly we looked at the next room and found that it was ok. Rooms were average size. Bathroom and furniture was outdated. A/C was a wall unit that was too high to reach and […] you had to stand on the bed to turn on. Went downstairs to get a soda from the Coke machine and it wasn't working. Definitely would not stay there again. I would spend a few extra dollars and stay at one of the more upscale places nearby. Mehr

Good value-older motel but clean and comfortable.

This was a very bad experience. The pictures posted on the Hotels.com site show a better maintained motel. When we pulled in, the hotel itself was run down. The bed in our room was broken and there were no other rooms available for us to move too. In the staff's defense, they did offer to call a maintenance man. We made do and slept with our heads at […] the foot of the bed. The rooms were very poorly maintained. Also the same manager that we spoke to about the bed, sent another customer to our room at 11pm. He had rented the same room twice with the same broken bed. The pool was clean but run down and not as nice as pictured. The manager mentioned that they would not charge our credit card for the room. We are waiting to see if we are refunded or not. Would not recommend staying here for more than 1 night and only if there were no other options available. This room was not worth what we were charged. Mehr

The motel was below what we expected. We were simply looking for a place rest our bodies during a July 4th weekend that spanned from Yarmouth to Provincetown. The location was very good; right on Rt 28. 1/2 mile from the beach, across from mini golf, near restaurants and the supermarket is nearby. The checkin was easy. The room LOOKED clean. But the […] bathroom towels had hair on them, and not ours. The tub didn't drain. The bed spreads had holes in them. The latter two things were not very big to us, but the towels with hair is unacceptable. Its too bad, because for a night or two, its a good spot. Mehr

The Motel was the worst of all places we stayed throughout our 3 weeks holiday. The outside appearance was old, the pool was not in use for at least a couple of years and the parking lot was ruined. The rooms were the worst. They were dirty, it was obvious that all the rooms (we checked others) used to be smoking rooms which gave an awful smell. Furthermore, […] the sheets and the bed itself was dirty. The bathroom was terrible. Furthermore, the room was noisy and it was impossible to get to sleep cause of the noise from the airco from three rooms further. This place is not more than a roof without any comfort. This motel was gross. I suppose it's what I should have expected, but it seemed like they went out of their way to make it as disgusting as possible. Plus, the pool had no water. Lame.

This place was horrible! Although it was advertised as non-smoking, all the rooms smelled like smoke (we had a large party stay there) and there were cigarette burns in the sheets. When we first arrived, the hotel manager was in his car attempting to leave! It was 9:10PM but the sign on the door said the office was open until 10:30. Also, the hotel […] lists one of its main amenities as a pool, but we went in mid-June and the thing wasn't even filled yet! The manager said, "We were planning to fill it tomorrow" both of the days we were there, but I'm sure that wasn't true. Mehr

clean and neat... typical bathroom issues with lots of caulk and slighly peeling wallpaper. i was here in late september... be sure to ask them to make sure the heat is on, as i couldn't find a heat thermostat in the room, and it got a bit nippy the night i stayed.

Inutile d'espérer les mêmes prestations qu'un hôtel, mais quand-même! Pour le Red Mill, nous n'avons pas été très satisfaits. La chambre était vétuste, la sdb idem, donc même bien nettoyées, elles n'avaient pas l'air propre. Matelas à ressorts pas très confortable. La fenêtre ne fermait pas, il y avait une odeur persistante de remontées des évacuations […] (plomberie). La personne à l'accueil n'était pas spécialement sympathique, et comme nous sommes repartis très tôt, nous n'avons pas pu prendre le petit-déjeuner qui n'était proposé que dans une certaine tranche horaire, alors que nous l'avions payé. La piscine, ok, mais lorsqu'on est au mois de septembre, que les températures ne sont plus estivales, et qu'en plus, cette piscine donne sur une route très passante, c'est une piètre consolation! Bref, pour une nuit (le prix est intéressant) et si on n'a rien d'autre sous le coude. Mehr
