Fess Parker's Wine Country Inn & Spa - Los Olivos

We stayed in the epiphany suite. Wow is all I can say. What a gorgeous and indulgent room. Pool area is quiet and quaint. Will definitely stay again. The staff was extremely nice, however some of them had a strange affect. Nice, but strange. Could probably use additional training for the caliber of property this is.

Charming hotel - beautifully appointed, perfectly located , friendly service, excellent advice and generous opportunities for wine tastings. It's a perfect holiday - one iis reluctant to leave and anxious to return.

Worth every penny. Room was beautiful, relaxing and just perfect. We had the best time ever and this room offered a wonderful relaxing stopping place for us. Hotel staff was attentive. Loved it. Will surely come again!

Great hotel, great food at the Greek-style cafe. The Colorado lamb was the best I have ever tasted.

Our first visit here, because we wanted to eat at the Los Olivos Cafe and stay near there, was a pleasant surprise. Our room across the street was lovely and large, newly redone. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our stay included a breakfast that included unusual choices; my husband liked his Greek omelet.

Everything was perfectly relaxing but the spa services were not fully available.

The hotel was lovely and the room cozy. Since we were on our way south in the morning, weren't able to use all of the free wine tastings that came with the room. Did use the one downstairs in the shop and it was great. Purchased several bottles of great wine! Friendly staff and the great rate even included a full breakfast in the lovely greek restaurant […] in the hotel. We will stay here again. Just perfect! Thanks. Mehr

The Fess Parker Los Olivos Hotel is our favorite for many reasons. It's location is great for wine tasting. Not only are there many tasting rooms on the same street, all in walking distance, but there are many wonderful wineries and vineyards nearby. It is a beautiful hotel, nicely furnished, with very comfortable beds. The onsite restaurant, Petros, […] serves high quality, creative dishes, with an outstanding wine list. This is a really nice stay in the heart of wine country. My only hope was that it was actually in a vineyard. However, it was in the middle of Los Olivos which is a great town and the property was a 1st class property. It does take a little cash to stay there, though you get some of it back in wine price reductions, a nice breakfast, and free tastings--though […] the tastings are mostly places that buy Fess Parker grapes. This is an older hotel that has been refurbished into a very upscale bed and breakfast style. The service is impeccable, the in hotel restaurant, Petros, was outstanding. The only negative was we could heard voices coming from the room adjacent to us. This a a great place to stay for wine touring and visiting Solvang and surrounding areas.

Fess Parker Inn met our expectations and more. We extended our stay an addional night. Location is excellent for the Santa Maria wine region, Los Olivos is the cutest town. Rooms are bright, clean and comfy. They could improve on the pillows though. And, we did unplug the fridge because of noise. Breakfast was included in our pricing and all 3 mornings […] the choices we made were great. They even had a coffee station set-up early in the morning allowing us to take coffee to our room. Restaurant service staff were the best. Front desk could smile a little. Overall, the Inn is great and we would definately go back. Mehr

We had a great stay at Fess Parker. The rate we got on hotels.com for a standard guest room was better than through the hotel website, though you can pay more for specific "suites" through the hotel website. When we stayed, Fess Parker was the only place to stay in Los Olivos. Los Olivos is in the middle of the wine country, but also has many tasting […] rooms and a few restaurants right there in town that you can walk to. We liked this so we could go to a few wineries, then get back to town and not have to drive anymore. The room was great and very spacious, including a fireplace and high-speed internet. We didn't use the spa, but we did use the outdoor pool and hot tub -- both very nice. Breakfast was outstanding, though we did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel restaurant. For it's high quality, location and service, we would definitely stay at Fess Parker again. On an aside, we also rented a convertible for this trip, which was awesome for the beautiful weather in the area. We stopped by the beach in Santa Barbara on the way out of town -- also recommended. We got this room for less than half price. For what we paid, it was outstanding. The gormet free breakfast and three free wine tastings was a great surprise. However, I don't know if I would pay the normal rate.

A nice inn in a nice setting. Los Olivos is charming. The room price included Internet and a wonderful breakfast (a real meal selected from a real menu - no making your own waffles here!). The rooms (we saw two) were very well kept up and spacious. We saw two rooms since the Internet was dead in the first room. The staff graciously moved us into a even […] better room across the street from the main complex. The hotel.com price was very good and much better than the prices quoted at Fess Parker's website (which likely would had dissuaded us from staying). Our room faced the main street in Los Olivos, but the traffic was sufficiently light and the room well enough sound insulated that the location did not bother us at all. Fess Parker's offers wine tasting - but didn't take them up on the offer as we had jut been out to dinner -- but other guests might find that an attractive addition, especially if staying more than one night. This small town is a great place to spend a couple of days exploring both the local wineries and the tiny town of Los Olivos. The hotel is bar-none one of the nicest, cleanest resorts you'll find and the only place to stay in Los Olivos itself.

New restaurant, and we understand the rest of the hotel will be renovated by the end of next year. Meanwhile, the service is great and it is very comfortable and well tended to.

Los Olivos is a small town and this is the best place to stay given its location and quality. The staff is very friendly and professional; the facility is well maintained given its years; the newly opened restaurant is fantastic.

We were visiting wineries and tasting rooms, which are plentiful in Los Olivos, and were very satisfied with the location of the Inn. The Wine Country Inn would benefit from more commercial development in the immediate area that would support it. The Inn is the best place to stay but there is little else to choose from in the area.
