Das Hotel ist schick und sauber und ein netttes Zimmer, die Lage ist auch recht gut, nur daß plötzlich so ab 24.00 nur noch laute wumm wumm Disco-Musik zu hören war bis nach 4.00 h morgens hat mich doch um den Schlaf gebracht. Vor dem Hotel sind halt mehrere Bars, die aber lautstark die ganze Nacht die gesamte Gegend beschallen. Also nach hinten raus […] könnte es schon gut sein, weiß ich aber nicht. Mehr

Perfekte Lage in der Nähe zur Oranienburger Strasse Moderne saubere Zimmer Kiene Frühstücksgelegenheit (nur Erhalt von Frühstücksbeuteln möglich)

Das Arcotel Velvet ist sehr gut gelegen, hat eine U-Bahn Station in unmittelbarer Nähe (50m), von wo man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit erreichen kann. An der Oranienburgerstr. befinden sich zudem noch die besten Restaurants und Bars von ganz Berlin... Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Hotel liegt perfekt, zb Alexanderplatz oder Friedrichstrasse zu Fuss erreichbar, zusätzlich gute öffentliche Anbindung. Frühstückskonzept spart Zeit, ist lecker und kann auch als Snack mitgenommen werden. Ist zwar eher unpersönlich, aber mal was anderes und echt ok.

Das Hotel Arcotel Velvet Berlin ist sehr zentral im Mitte Bezirk, nah Friedrichstrasse Bahnhof. Hotelservice war sehr gut. Morgens haben wir eine Früstücktüte pro Person kostenlos bekommen. Wir haben ein wenig Lärm wegen des Ortes Tacheles von nebenan gehört aber die Doppelverglasung erlaubt gut zu schlafen.

War zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. + Frühstück gibt es eigentlich nicht (kostet deshalb nichts), aber steht morgens dennoch reichlich für jedermann zur Verfügung. - Alternatives Künstlerviertel und Disco gleich nebenan. Auch viele Restaurants. Interessant, aber Freitag-/Samstagnacht doch zu hören, wenn die Türen der Discos jeweils kurz aufgehen.

Great location, interesting architecture, great except that despite triple glazing couldn't sleep due to the thud, thud, thud of the bass from a neighbouring club night. Real shame. Love a rave as much as the next guy, but really tedious when a) next to hotel and b) having to get up at 6 am to get a flight. Arcotel need to sort it out - then it will […] be the ideal spot to stay with good value - but not until then. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed meals at resturaunt next door. Location suite us .Hotel very modern and clean

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, rooms are small but clean. We took a room at the back of the hotel as the staff told us it was quieter. We had also requested a non-smoking room when we booked and had to pay extra when we checked in for a non-smoking room so that was a little disappointing. Very close to Museum Isle and a nice walk to Brandenburg […] Gate & Riechstag. We did take the u-bahn which is just around the corner from the hotel for anywhere that we were going that is a little further away. There is a 24 hour convenience type of store also by the u-bahn that we visited often for water and other treats. Couple of nice restaurants right across the street. Some "interesting" activity happening just a few buildings away from the hotel but we felt safe in the neighborhood. Happy that we weren't right in the middle of touristville, but close to all the activity. Mehr

The hotel was exactly like the photos online and the location is great. Tons of restaurants on the street and central to everything by train or walking. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were able to give us electrical adapters and wifi was free. The bartender made great drinks, even if they were a bit pricy. The rooms were on the small […] side but not uncomfortable. The only issue was the air conditioning was very week and we had to open the window, which meant letting in the noise. Also for some reason the sink is huge and a little awkward. Still would definitely recommend. Mehr

Small but comfortable rooms. The area is full of young tourists but we couldn't hear them in the room. Nicely decorated, although the mattress and pillows were of lower quality. One oddity for american visitors is that while the toilet is behind closed doors, the shower and washroom are only separated from the bedroom by a sheer curtain. There is wired […] internet in the room and free wireless in the lobby. The takeaway breakfast is a tasty sandwich (either meat or cheese) and a piece of fruit. The coffee is okay, but there is a fantastic coffee place next door. Location is great. Just steps from the U-Bahn and a couple of blocks from Friedrichstrasse. Easy access to all of the main tourist sites: museums, unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Tor, the Reichstag. Mehr

This hotel is centrally located in the Mitte area which is close to most tourist attractions. There is a U-bahn and S-bahn station very close by (about a block to a block and a half away). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us with maps and directions and offered to print our boarding passes. The complimentary breakfast is a […] baguette with either ham or cheese and a piece of fruit. Coffee, tea, juice are also included. They pack it to go so you can either eat in the lounge or take it away. The breakfast was good and saved us time. There are lots of restaurants and cafes close to the hotel so there isn't a problem if you want to go out to eat. The room was neat and clean, but the layout was a little strange. It looked like the room was intended to have a double or queen bed, but since I asked for two beds they laid one bed along the wall and another across the headboard. The bathroom was also interesting because there isn't a shower or bath stall/curtain. The handheld shower is against a wall and a drain is in the middle of the floor. So if you're not careful you could get the entire bathroom wet and flooded because the water doesn't drain that quickly. I got used to the layout after a while. I still would recommend the hotel because of it's friendly staff and convenient location. Mehr

Lady at the front desk made me feel like an idiot because I couldn't find my room, which had a decimal 616.1 Really curious behaviour as it wasn't on the wall when leaving the lift and others must face the same issue all the time.

I like the hotel a lot actually. The rooms were comfortable and the windows were very big and opened up, which I also liked. There is a button you can push in the room that gives the bathroom area a reddish glow. Something called Warmalampe or something like that. It seems geared more towards couples and less toward family though. As an example, the […] shower is separated from the rest of the room by a glass door which means you can see whoever is in the shower quite clearly until the glass fogs up. There is a mirror under the TV, which is mounted on the wall opposite the bed. If you lay on the bed and raise your head, you can see yourself in the mirror. Like I said, geared toward couples. There are fresh apples in the room everyday, which is a nice touch. My two peeves were that they didn't make up the room after our first day, which is not very good service at all. I was VERY upset about that. Also the breakfast is not sit down. They give you the food and you go elsewhere to eat it, which is weird. I loved the location. It was next to Tacheles, which is an artist collective. Lots of great places to eat right there on the same street and it's quite easy to walk to other spots on that side of Berlin plus the subway is just down the street as well. Very convenient. There is no wifi in the room, only in the lobby, another drawback. If you need to print anything, you can email it to the address provided by the front desk and they will print it out for you so that helps. All in all, i'd stay there again if I were only in Berlin for one night. Otherwise, i'd have to get assurances from the hotel that they will make up my room, but then you kind of have to ask yourself if it's such a good idea to stay at a place where you would have to ask for assurances that you would ordinarily assume you won't need. A lovely little boutique hotel.

great location, easy to get to places, nice rooms, great beddings. there is no door to the shower, only curtain so people should be comfortable about this. I stayed with my 16 year old daughter and we loves it!

The hotel no longer has the noise problems with a neighbouring night club. Its staff is professional, the rooms were spotless and air conditioned. Unless your room faces the road in front of the hotel you can open your room's window wide. The public transit around the hotel is outstanding with S Bahn, U Bahn and street cars. There are a lot of restuarants […] in the area and within 20 minutes you can walk to several major museums, historic sites, art galleries, etc. I spent eleven days at the hotel. Mehr

The Hotel Arcovelvet is in a great location, close to all the great spots for sightseeing and shopping but not yet it is not too touristy. The art squats next door make it a funky, arty part of town. Great hotel for a long weekend. Ideally located in the Mitte district with great restaurants and bars close by. Even though the rate stated that breakfast was not included, the hotel proved breakfast snacks to eat in or take away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

In the midle of it all, with it's cute architexture and the remot Bass-bit from club nearby Velvet is a comfortable spot yet compatible with the eclectic pulse of Berlin. not a family tipe neigbourhood at night - but a perfect spot to start the dailt tour and a nigtout. we loved it.

The room was a lot bigger than your average hotel room, the staff were friendly, a breakfast bagel and coffee was included (even though no "breakfast charge"), it was in a really exciting area of Mitte with lots of bars and there were apples in the room! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend. It's very close to two stations […] as well. Mehr

I loved my stay at Arcotel Velvet Berlin. Breakfast in the Velvet Lounge each morning was nice. They provided coffee, tea, brotchoen, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit every morning. The rooms were clean and they leave two apples in your room each day. I would stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Berlin again.

This hotel is really tendy and unique with breathtaking views over the Berlin skyline. We stayed in the suite as there were 3 of us and it was fabulous. Really spacious and comfortable with floor to ceiling windows. The staff were lovely, there was a free breakfast we didn't know about and bowls of fruit around the place. It is in the perfect position […] for sightseeing as well as nightlife. just a short stroll from the river as well as all the sights near Alexsanderplatz. Our room actually overlooked some crazy clubs and a sculptue gallery. Really comfortable beds and good shower. Great if you want somewhere quirky and a bit different. Mehr

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned everyday, there was a double bed (instead of two twin beds like most of Europe) and it was in a great location. Highly recommended

This hotel was an interesting place to stay. The location is ok (I liked it, I'm 24, but my mom wasn't as pleased with the young, artsy and a little weird neighborhood). It was an easy walk to Museum Island and all of the locations around that including the Berliner Dom (just remember that most of the tourist sites in Berlin are pretty close to one […] another and public transportation is very easy). The hotel room itself was very clean. The bathroom is an exact copy of a hospital bathroom, including having a drain in the floor so you shower in the middle of the room. It sounds weird, but it was fun and quirky (the only issue was that one person can't get ready using the bathroom mirror if the other person is using the shower). The view was great. Ask for one on the front of the building. The window covers the entire wall from floor to ceiling (very cool!). Lots of great restaurants surrounding the hotel, including a wonderful pizza place on the corner. Mehr

Small, quiet hotel in Mitte Berlin. Postmodern room with nice solutions (white tents, glass replacing the whole wall and facing streetview). Free internet PC in the lobby. Steps from the subway. Nice nightlife in the surroundings. More than worth the price I paid.

Lots of restaurants close by. Shopping within a short walk. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value. We would stay there again.

We couldn't have been more happy with this hotel. The central Mitte location was perfect, within walking distances to restaurants, shops, attractions and transportation. This was our second stay at the hotel. It was just fine the first time, but on this occasion we were given an upper floor room with a fantastic sloping floor-to-ceiling window. The room was tiny, but the view was spectacular, especially when a violent rain storm pelted the window, and all of Berlin became an impressionist painting.

what can I say, just book it if you're into walking or cycling around a fantastic city........... 10 minutes walk to almost everything (checkpoint, river, reichstag, alexanderplatz......) restautants across the road include thai, indian, singapore, cuban, austrian n german with loads more up the street. bars......loads there is a really odd building […] next door, I'll leave it to You to discover :-) back to the hotel..... friendly, comfortable n cool Mehr

I loved the location of this hotel in Berlin. It was within walking distance to many areas and there was a U-bahn and S-bahn station right nearby. This area of Berlin is more hip and tends to be a tad loud in the evening with the clubs nearby. I highly recommend this hotel to people who want experience a less commercialized Berlin than in the former […] West Berlin area. Great restaurants nearby also. Mehr

Hotellet ligger bra till, nära till tunnelbana och fler linjer några minuter söderut vid Friedrich Strasse. Stora fönster så var inte rädd för insyn eller be om rum högt upp. När vi var där i jan upplevde jag rummet som något kallt och vi lyckades inte få upp värmen. Rent och fräscht med badkar och liten minibar. Minus för lite hårda sängar och att […] vi inte hade något wi-fi. Tror man kan hitta bättre hotell i samma prisklass även om hotellet är helt ok, men 4 stjärnor är snäppet högt. Mehr

Morgenmaden er ikke værd at gå efter. Området er rigtig fedt, masser af lækre restauranter og der er ikke langt til nogle seværdigheder, U-bahn osv. Lækker lux følelse.

Todella siisti hotelli. Erinomainen sijainti lähellä U-bahn ja S-bahn asemia. Tegelin lentokentälle pääsi todella kätevästi metrolla ja bussilla. Helppo käyttää tukikohtana sukkuloidessa ympäri kaupunkia juuri asemien läheisyydestä johtuen. Tosin kävellenkin on hyvät etäisyydet mm. Brandenburg Torille jne. Vastapäätä erinomainen ravintola Mirchi, jos […] haluaa nopeaa palvelua ja edullista ja hyvää ruokaa. Mehr

O hotel é perfeito e as acomodações são ótimas, staff super dedicado. IMPORTANTE LEMBRAR DE PEDIR NA RESERVA UM BANHEIRO COM BOX, senão você terá a mesma surpresa que eu: um chuveiro entre a pia e o vaso sanitário. De resto, só posso elogiar. Confortável e muito bem localizado.
