Hilton Garden Inn Islip - Ronkonkoma

Zu diesem Hotel kann man eigentlich nur sagen - super Wahl - gerne wieder. Parken ist problemlos möglich und ohne Gebühr. Es liegt verkehrsgünstig am LIE 495 und auch am Flughafen. Mit Mietwagen kommt man von dort aus einfach überall auf Long Island hin wo man hin möchte. Das Frühstück war super mit tollem Service zu einem sehr guten Preis. Die Zimmer […] waren sehr groß mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle und das Bett war seeeeeehr bequem. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der Dame beim Frühstücksbuffet. Unser Engel am Morgen. Der Pool ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen meiner Meinung nach und bedürfte mal einer Renovierung aber zum kurz abkühlen und/oder 10 min Whirlpool war es ausreichend. When I made my reservation for the Hilton Garden Inn I asked if this was hotels.com or if it was the Hilton Garden Inn reservations and was told it was the Hilton Garden Inn reservations. However when I got to the hotel, I was told that I would not get points on my Hilton Honors card because I had made my reservation through hotels.com. The hotel was […] very pleasant. The hotrel overall was not that bad, but th pillows were awful. My rrom was 2 rooms way from the elveator which made it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. There is an annoying dinging sound they make while you wait for the elevator to reach your floor. It kept waking me up and since the pillow were awful it was extremely difficult to fall back asleep. I'd recommend […] this hotel only if you could get a room far away from the elevator and I suggest bringing your own pillows! Mehr

We came here for a weekend getaway from New York and couldn't have had a better experience. The staff was incredible- and you can't beat the shuttle bus pick up from the LIRR. We had a lovely dinner at Mama Mia's and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Will definitely be back!

The location of this hotel was very convenient for our needs. It is adjcent to Islip McArthur Airport but not to worry about plane noise at night - this airport closes overnight so it never interrupted our sleep. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well kept Staff were all very solicitous and well mannered. The only thing I can really complain about […] is that the tables in the restaurant area were not bussed in the morning so we left the hotel and went out for breakfast. Could have been an off day for them so I definitely would not hold it against the hotel and would absolutely stay there again. Very easy access to both North and South shore of Long Island. There is also a wonderful Italian restaurant in the building just to the right of the hotel. Mehr

The room was very nice, with an extremely comfortable bed. The hotel offered a nice amount of options, pool, bar, fitness room, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I recently spent last weekend (2-4-12) with my girl just as a little get away and from the second we walked in to the moment we got to our room, the beautiful smell of apples filled the air. No joke! I had yet another great stay at the Hilton. They had given the hotel a makeover and it looks great and comfy, its a very warm atmosphere. The staff is kind and courteous and the bartender is very friendly. The pool area and Jacuzzi is amazing especially when you and swim in the middle of January! I went for my b day and I had a blast. I was there with […] my partner and I have to say I was most pleased that they are not discriminating against gay couples. Overall had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone! Mehr

I loved this Hotel..We got married right next door..and stayed here. I wish I knew it was under construction when booking it. I would have stayed here at a later time, when We could have enjyed the front lobby. (Most of my wedding picturesa were in front of the fireplace)

I felt the service was great and the hotel was comfortable

We have stayed here before so it was an easy decision to stay here again on another visit to LI. over Thanksgiving, Although we had requested a room on the first floor, we learned upon our arrival the room was on the 2nd floor. Upon our inquiry, our room was happily changed at no extra cost. The only fault during this stay was the king size bed was […] too hard with small pillows that were too soft for comfort. This made sleeping a bit uncomfortable for someone with a bad back. We learned at checkout that all the king size beds can be adjusted to any firmness via a remote control. We noted a sign at the end of the counter announcing this, whicht was not there at check in nor was there any signs in the room to inform guests of this. At a $11.95 pp for the breakfast buffet plus items cooked to your order, we opted to drive 2 blocks to the Airport Diner where the prices were less costly, food is great and portions are large. Plenty of free coffee, vending machines available . A complimentary continental breakfast would've been a nice touch as some other hotels offer. Mehr

I was going on a weekend getaway with my boyfriend out east and we booked this hotel mostly due to the affordable price and the fact that it had a pool and hottub. I was not disappointed per se, but I did expect a slighter cleaner room. Maybe it was because we chose a smoking room that they skimped on cleanliness, but I feel as though we're entitled […] to clean towels (without hair in them) and a pleasant scent in the room (not stale smoke) just as much as the non smoking rooms. Everyone was really courteous though and the hottub was excellent. I still have a 50 dollar deposit lingering in my checking account and am wondering when they will take that off. All in all, it was a good stay and I would stay here again. Mehr

The hotel has been very nice. There is a very nice breakfast buffet daily which is also very affordable. My only complaint is the satelite service for the TV is not very good.

The staff at the Hilton Garden Inn was very friendly and courteous. The room was in good condition and I had a great stay. The shuttle service to and from the airport as well as to and from the Long Island Railroad is a great convienance. The one thing that threw me off is that the shuttle service is on demand. The hotel has partnered with a taxi service […] to make airport pickups during some periods of the day. The food service in the hotel was good, but the drink prices were a little high. CAME IN FOR THE WEEKEND FOR A JIMMY BUFFETT CONCERT AND THE HAMPTONS THE HOTEL WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL HAD A GREAT TIME AND WOILL STAY HERE AGAIN

Very nice hotel but the resonating noise from slamming doors was awful.

we stayed in different motels on Long Island and were never as pleased as with this Hilton Gardens we are looking forward to staying here again, all the help were so kind and accomodating.

Fine hotel, except the noise of the ventilators outside. 4.5/5

Great hotel Great, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well appointed room. Good value. Good location near the MacArthur Airport

I live in the surrounding area and booked a weekend for me and my partner to get away. It was great, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially since we are a same sex couple we never felt out of place, It was easy to get to places, no more than 15 mins to sayville ferry. mins a way from Dave and Buster local attractions. Truly a middle of the road stopover. Biggest dissatisfaction is that the price for the room is consistently higher than others of comparable or superior quality (and that's with the hotels.com discount.

I've been to this hotel before and found it very comfortable, clean and very friendly staff. only thing that i didnt enjoy as much as i was looking forward to was too many kids at the small indoor pool, and no supervision by parents, think the hot tub and pool should be open later so that couples could enjoy it with out the rowdy kids around. They […] have an outdoor grill, which was great but very unclean and the door that goes out to the grill doesnt have a key card to get back in we had to walk around and thru flower beds to get back to the front of the hotel with our steaks. I have stayed at this hotel before and always found their staff to be extremely courteous and helpful. Last year during the blizzard in NY i had to extend my stay they could not have been more accomidating. It was a great value for the money. The staff was friendly & the room was immaculate. The pool although small was lots of fun & the hot spa was just perfect. I would defenitely stay again & would recommend!

This was a nice location. Close to home. Stood for only one night...for just a little getaway with the honey. Nice and quiet. Clean. Comfy. Quick check-in. Would definitely stay again.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is immaculate, comfortable and fairly new. I have stayed here quite a few times and the staff has always been very helpful, curteous and professional. The food served in the restaurant or room service is very good. There are always delicious cookies and coffee and tea in the lobby for the guests. And, I love the Nutragena […] bath products. It doesn't dissapoint in any way. Mehr
