K&K Hotel Central - Prag

Wir waren für 5 Nächte abgestiegen, da kann man über einige Dinge hinwegsehen: Das Zimmer war zwar gut ausgestattet, als Ausblick gab es aber nur einen besseren Lichtschacht. ( wer kaum Tageslicht braucht, dem kann es egal sein, sonst bei Buchung versuchen zu vermeiden) Ärgerlich fanden wir den Zustand Fernbedienung für den Fernseher, welche wohl schon […] seit Monaten nicht mehr gereinigt wurde. Ekelig! Das Frühstücksbufett war in Ordnung, zur "falschen" Tageszeit kann es aber recht voll werden. Fazit: Topp-Lage (5 min. vom Hauptbahnhof), Internet Gratis, bei der Sauberkeit und Zimmerlage sollte man flexibel sein. Mehr

sehr gut gelegenes hotel, Frühstücksbüffet ist wirklich gut, Personal freundlich, parkgebühren mit 25€ je Tag ausverschämt hoch. zimmer ist übersichtlich, Bad eher klein, fernsehgerät total ungünstig montiert ( kann nur eine person Fernsehen vom Sessel aus, steht aber auch nur ein Sessel drin, vom Bett aus völlig unmöglich) . Schönes Hotel an super zentraler Lage! Rundum gutes Hotel und sehr empfehlenswert!

Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Bad ist aber recht klein, Badewanne mit Glaswand. Im Neubau ist Lift im angrenzenden Zimmer gut hörbar. Edler Frühstücksraum in ehemaligem Musiksaal, schönes Buffet. Tolles Jugendstilgebäude.

Das Hotel K+K in Prag hat eine super Lage. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants, usw. kann man zu Fuss erreichen!

Very nice hotel, located very close to the central Prague train station and shopping district. Although a bit small, the room was very clean and offered a closet with drawers and a reasonable bathroom with shelves (great for women). The hotel is very elegant and the staff very friendly. Overall, a great value for the money.

We truely enjoyed staying at this hotel during our stay in Prague. The location is right downtown and walking distance to all the sights and numerous restaurants. The breakfast buffet was very good and the room was clean and quiet. the hotel is in the center, short distance to public transportation and touristic places but in a quiet place though. The service is good, the room is clean and the breakfast rich. I would go there again.

I stayed at the K&K Hotel Central for 4 days in March 2012. Check in was easy. The hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly. The free breakfast was excellent. My room was very comfortable, and I loved the fact that the bathroom floors were heated! The hotel was located in a great place. We had room 304 - it had to have been the smallest room in the hotel - we were fairly cramped and the pillows were awful - i came home with a pain in my neck, but i have to add - we heard no noises in the hotel at all. Other than that - hotel really clean, breakfast a real treat and free internet in reception. A very nice room (although not huge) located right by the Old Town on a very quiet street, and barely 7 minutes away from the main train station. If I were to stay in Prague, I would probably stay at that location again.

The hotel was nice, good location, nice staff. Rooms are a little tight, but overall, it was a good selection.

My sister and I checked into the K+K Prague to celebrate our birthday...we arrived late evening to find a delightful cake and bottle of good sparkling wine waiting for us in our room. Seldom experienced such thoughtful service. Can't fault this hotel - very central - and would have no hesitation staying there again.

Quite affordable for upper scale hotel with design interior and charm in central location. Fun building and design, especially breakfast area interesting architecture but small and Library charming. Breakfast buffet not overwhelmning but still nice. Hotel chauffeur service to airport quite inexpensive and recommendable.

The location of this hotel is great - it's ~8 minute walk to the Old Town Square, and ~3 minute walk to the Municipal House. Although the lobby, dining area, and bar are superb, the 'extended value' or 'standard double' rooms are mediocre at best. Moreover, we found that the hotel staff were not very friendly. Our family missed a concert because the […] receptionist forgot to input our wake-up call request, and they simply said that something was wrong with their system / routing / wiring. The hotel also has a policy where you have to drop-off and pick-up your room key whenever you leave and enter the hotel. It can become a hassle during peak hours when a line of people are checking in or out. Mehr

A beautiful lobby, and a terrific breakfast included in a reasonable price. My only complaint was that the "fitness room" included only a broken elliptical trainer, a bike and a weight machine. No treadmills, or working cardio.

I would totally recommend this hotel. There is a very clever mix of the old style of the building with a very modern and classy interior. I couldn't fault it in any way. It is well located and easy walking distance to all the sights.

We were very pleased with this hotel for our stay in Prague. It was, as it says, very central and within easy walking distance of the two main squares and a convenient metro. I am sure it was also ideally located for all the vast tram network, but we never sussed that out. Very comfortable hotel, helpful staff and excellent breakfast Nothing to do with […] the hotel but we would advise visitors to be wary of the Prague Card. It does not offer any travel concessions and although they demonstrate huge savings you would need to be superman to do all the visits in the allocated time. Also be aware that the National museum is closed for the next 5 years and that the adjacent modern annexe has very limited displays. Mehr

Good in almost everything. Pricing is just right. Breakfast is extremely good. 5 min walk to Old Town main square and 10 minutes walk to Charles Bridge. Staff speak English and are very helpful.

We had stayed before at a Eurostars hotel in another city (Mexico) and our expectations this time were exceeded. The hotel is brand new, so everything is pretty modern, comfortable and works perfectly. The breakfast area is huge, and the food selection is great (even it's not included in the room rate, it's worth the price). We also enjoyed the sauna […] and fitness center area, excepting the pool that was very cold! Most of the hotel staff is Spanish speaking (besides English and German, of course), so it was great for us as Mexicans. The train station is not walking distance (carrying bags) but it's one station away if you take the S-bahn which is a few steps from the hotel's door. Highly recommended! Mehr

not worth the money. no smile what so ever from front desk personnel. small room. so so breakfast. Had a problem with the room. there were many small insects in the room because the window was open. the front desk was not at all helpful about the situation. If they were apologetic and changed the room swiftly, i woulnd't feel so mistreated, but they […] were not professional about it. The room I was changed to only faced the grey wall of the building next and the AC was broken. all in all, not so great experience with this hotel. The only positive thing, the bed sheets felt fresh. also beware, parking is 25 euros per night. outdoor parking and had bird poops all over the windshield. Mehr

This hotel was located in the old town not far from the main train station. Was just a short walk to get to the main square, but far enough away, that you didn't walk out into huge crowds. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and very modern. They do a great breakfast which was included in our rate, so another bonus. Can highly recommend!

Pros: The staff and service at the K & K Central were terrific! The free breakfast was a nice bonus, too. The rooms are tight but very clean. They remind me of a walk through at IKEA. Everything fits neatly and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean and modern. The attention to detail is very noticeable. The caulking around the tub and sink in the bathroom […] is perfect and looks like a showroom. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the center of the town (without stopping at the shops along the path) and 20 minutes to the Charles Bridge. Cons: You must pay for the goodies loaded in the refrigerator if you use them. Thankfully, there are several local stores right down the block where you can purchase water and snacks. Mehr

I would definitely recommend this hotel! The staff was wonderful and very helpful in terms of where to go for dinner and places of interest. The room was comfortable except don't get one overlooking the courtyard because there are parties at night and may disturb your sleep. The breakfast was amazing, not your typical European breakfast but a nice combination […] of US and European breakfast...including champagne. I would definitely return to this hotel. My husband and I have just returned from staying at the K&K in Prague. We found this hotel excellent in every way. The building is stunning and kept to a very high standard, we enjoyed using the Sauna and fitness area. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and provide excellent customer service. the K&K central is stunning - a masterpiece of art neuveau restored with real care. the staff was outstanding, offering restaurant recommendations, assisting with scanning of documents etc. and the hotel is in a great location, convenient not only to the old town/jewish quareter but to wenceslas square. i was extremely happy with my stay here.

A very handy location, especially since we arrived and departed by train. The breakfast was very good. My only complaint was the internet dropped out every now and again in the room. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. All up, a recommended hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. It was convenient to both sights and the train station. The breakfast area was particularly lovely, and we liked the heated floors in the baths.

Enjoyed this hotel more than some 5 star hotels we stayed in. The location and helpfulness of the staff were great. Breakfast was quite good, and really loved the free computers to access email and local schedules and info.

Great little hotel, very convenient - the rooms were clean, breakfast was included - you can't go wrong!

I can't say enough good things about the K&K Hotel Central. The English-speaking staff was very courteous and helpful, quickly working to repair an inoperable TV and to provide us with a currency converter. All the staff was friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. And the location is fantastic for tourists -- a block or two from the Powder […] Tower, a 10 minute walk to Old Town Square, and a block away from the trams and subway. I should mention that the "fitness center" was very sparse, consisting of an elliptical machine, a stationary bike, and a Nautilus-type machine for weights. There is not even a rack of free weights! This is a very minor complaint, however. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on our future trips to Prague. We loved it! Mehr

Just had a terrific break in Prague, this hotel was superb, the moment you ener the building you cannot fail to be impressed with the overall standard. The room was smallish but perfect for our needs, location spot on, breakfasts very good. I have stayed at other KK hotels and this is up there with the best.

Beauutiful place, even the newer, less historic newer parts. Excellent breakfast. Equally excellent dstaff and service, including efficient receipt and delivery of parcels sent to me c/o the hotel. Location could hardly be better for a game pedestrian, within moderate walking distance of Old Town Square and beyond to the prime concert hall and the opera […] house, Charles Bridge and the castle, closer to Wenceslas Square. Very near a Metro station for longer excursions--even for inexpensive transit from/to the airport for travelers without much heavy or bulky baggage. The city map that this hotel provides is notably better than the one many other Prague hotels offer. Whether with my wife or alone, I would like to spend every future visit to Golden Prague at this place. Mehr
