I would have rather spent some extra $ for a better stay. Checking in was bad. After we checked in and with 2 kids tired, the front says to me, "oh you're room is not cleaned yet. The rooms being well-maintained and excellent customer service are the reason I come back to stay at Amer. Best Inn. I like the cleanliness feeling of the room especially the wood laminate flooring. The beds/pillows are comfortable. Nice new floors, very clean washroom which had nice counters and was nicely updated. It was one of the cleanest places that i have stayed... except the mini fridge. There was a funky smell in the mini fridge so we decided not to use it at all. They also need to update the bed frames. This hotel is not too close to disneyland or the garden walk if you want to walk, but its about 5 mins driving distance. Very comfortable room, nice hardwood floors, excellent options for shampoo, bodywash, lotion, not your cheapy average type of hotel stuff...

My extended family of 12 (8 children) stayed at the motel in 3 rooms. We had a great stay and a great Disney experience. We parked the cars in the motel lot and walked to Disneyland. The rooms were comfortable and surprisingly quiet as it is next to the freeway, so it was easy access to Hwy 5. We took the # 10 shuttle back from the park ($3. adult $2. […] kids) and that was the only downside - the #10 shuttle is the least likely shuttle to show up at the park. The free parking and free coffee and rolls in morning were nice. The motel has a swimming pool, too; which will be nice in the summer but it was a little too cool to swim in March. The people at the front office were nice and helpful as well. We asked for 3 rooms together and that's what we got. Overall this is a place that I will stay again as it is great for families on a budget as each room has a fridge and microwave and the rooms are large enough for sleeping bags if needed. They were very clean... And took very good care of there hotel.

The private ownership of this restaurant is the absolute worst. Since they don't answer to no one they have no corporate office guiding them in customer service. The lady and gentlemen at the front desk were very rude. Completely ignored us when we tried to check in by staying on her phone on a personal phone call for almost five minutes until she finally […] decided to acknowledge us. Very convenient location- within walking distance to Disneyland and dining. Room was spacious and had everything that we needed. Staff was friendly and accomodating. We stayed for four nights and each morning the housekeeping staff offered room service. Free wifi, free parking, free breakfast...Will definitely stay here again!

PROS: Large, comfortable bed. T.V. with a lot of channels. Good water pressure in shower. CONS: Paper thin walls (you can hear all conversations that go on in the next room). Huge gap underneath the door to the room, which means you can hear all cars that go by on the freeway. Only two towels in bathroom that are not very good quality. On the last night, my boyfriend found droplets of fresh blood on his pillowcase (we did have housekeeping all 3 days, and the blood was bright red not brown...) My Advice: If you decide to stay here and are going to Disneyland, be prepared for a long walk. It's much easier to just pay the $15 a day for parking. There is a Starbucks within short walking distance which is nice. Also, bring your own towels and maybe some pillows if you like to sleep with more than just one (also because of the questionable pillow cases). Bring something to pack the gap in the front door with if you don't want to hear the cars on the freeway. There is an On/Off switch for the AC up high on the wall above the unit (we did not see this until day two). The complimentary breakfast consists of donuts, pastries, coffee and juice. If you need to fuel up for the day, I would suggest eating at the Rain Forest Cafe in Downtown Disney instead (about $10/person and much better than this and cheaper than IHOP). Overall, you get what you pay for. This place is worth staying at only if you need a place to sleep at night and are not planning on spending much time in the room. Mehr

Other than the floor leaving our socks and shoe bottoms black, it was very, very clean. It had all the amenities we wanted and was a great price. We walked to Disneyland everyday with a seven year old, a five year old and a one year old with no problems. I will definitely stay here next time when I visit Disneyland!

Location:- The hotel is very close to Disney. Matter of fact you can even walk to Disney. The hotel has all sort of foods available near by. Room was not cleaned till 3 PM on our day of stay. The cleaner left the cleaning trolley blocking the entrance of our room. When we asked the reception, he asked to move the trolley by ourself. The hotel is over freeway 5 and around the corner from Disneyland. It's a healthy walk but definitely do-able. My only complaint was the drain in the tub did not stop up. And I was really looking forward to a nice soak. This was room 113. The walls are also thin and the "continental breakfast" consists of donuts and OJ. Usually skipped this.

The rate for the hotel was great, I rented 3 rooms for 3 nights and it was cheap. Unfortunately you pay for what you get, the service could.ve been better and the Continental breakfast was a joke but since the rooms were cheap it left us enoughmoney to spend in Disney.

Considering the price and location to Disneyland, this hotel was a great value. Our room was large and even had a mini fridge and microwave!! The heater worked great. It looked as if they had recently remodeled; everything in the bathroom was new. The continental breakfast is small, but has juice, coffee, doughnuts, and other pastries. we can't say enough about this fine little inn. with fairly mixed reviews we went in realizing that convenience and price might have to trump comfort and cleanliness. not so!! we stayed in a lower room that had hardwood flooring, nice firm mattresses, functioning everything (including room heater, refrigerator, microwave), clean everything, friendly […] staff, a simple continental breakfast, free parking...all within an easy 15-min walk to Disneyland and at a great price! to top it off, the ART (Anaheim Rapid Transit) had it's first stop right in front of the inn. the inn lobby sold the tickets to us the night before so at the end of our 16-hour Disneyland day we simply hopped on the bus and were deposited at our door within 5 minutes! and on a night that Disneyland does a fireworks display it's nearly in the backyard of the inn...you can see it (& hear it!! akin to sonic booms for about 10 minutes) from the parking lot! all in all, one of the best stays our family has had anywhere! Great location, horrible hotel. I read the reviews and figured, hey it's one night and it's close. I mistook the hotel next door as our place of stay, so I saw how nice it was and how nice the staff was. Next door it was "card for deposit and key for room and check out at 11." That's it. First, there wasn't a secure lock on the door, the TV was probably […] 10-15 years old, they had very thin blankets (not good because I don't like to keep the "gross" top comforter on) & the heater knob was broken. The microwave had a slight off smell to it. The towels were slightly bigger than hand towels. I ended up with food poisoning that night, so all of this was magnified as I slept through chilling feverish dreams. This wasn't a bad hotel. It's a short walking distance to Disneyland. The only downfall is that there were no blankets on the bed. Just 2 sheets. Now, December in LA doesn't get freezing cold, but it was chilly and I would have appreciated a blanket.

It was convenient location to go to Disney Land and Downtown Disney. I-5 was very close, too. There was no Kleenex in the room so I asked the owner if he provides it but he said NO so I had to use toilet papers instead. On my 2nd day of stay, light bulb was out on the desk but it was not replaced at all. Overall, the room I stayed in was clean and reasonable size and there was a small refrigerator, microwave, iron, hair dryer and coffee maker in the room. Everything else was ok if you just need a place to rest and sleep. But the WIFI was really bad, can't get through the connection so I called to check with the staff n she said so far no complain n I'm the first one to complain.

I was impressed for the price. The hotel was updated in the rooms and it was relatively clean. 27" TV in the room and it was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel for your stay at Disneyland.

Not only was the price great, the location was perfect. My family was tired after the day at Disneyland and I was so thankful that I just had to go down the street to get to the room. Close to Disneyland, easy access to shuttle (but, it wasn't free), room was very clean. Walls were very thin, we could hear people late at night, but other than that, it was great and I would stay there again.

If you want to save money and waste $$ at Disneyland, this place is the right place to do that. Though it's not the greatest and fanciest, it's still pretty comfortable and clean. I'd recommend this place. The mgmt is nice there.

The room was exceptionally clean with colorful decor. We had a firm mattress and slepted well. We needed a good rest after spending the day at Disneyland and California Adventure. A very basic property. Room was clean, but the carpeting had some sort of spotting or matted goo in several places. They did have a good connection to the free wireless internet in the room and free parking. I was just there for an overnight stay, nothing more. It is close to Disney attractions.

This hotel is great as the shuttle to Disney pick you up right in front of the hotel. No need to pay for parking. However, the breakfast is not desirable. The staff has its moment in friendliness. It is not constant. If you need just a place to stay, then, this is a great. If you are looking for in an hotel, then keep looking.

I was very happy with my stay. Room was clean and comfortable. You could see the fireworks from Disneyland which is only half mile away. Shuttle to Disneyland picks up right in front of hotel. many fast food restaurants and gas stations close by.

This room smelled like wet carpet when you entered. The top to the air conditioner would fall off and make a lot of noise and there was mold in the bathroom tile. There were holes in the sheets and the carpet was very dirty that it left my children's feet and socks black. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Disneyland. The motel was very clean and comfortable with plenty of safe off street parking. It is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland along a busy but well lit road. The location near Disneyland for the price you pay for the night is very good. However, I would not walk east of the hotel at night due to its very dark surroundings. I used the airport shuttle during my stay without a car by choice. The room is very comfortable and the description was very accurate from previous reviewers. This is about one minute from Disneyland, which is very convenient. This is a hotel that is very small, but very clean and well kempt. I don't want to tear the place apart or seem overly critical but this hotel is definitely bare bones/bare necessity. It's main attribute is affordability. Secondly, location is not bad. It's less than a mile from Disneyland, so easily walkable, but along two VERY busy streets. It's fine with older kids, but would make me very nervous with little ones. […] On the upside, it's a busy enough/main thoroughfare area that we felt safe making the walk back at night. My husband is a police officer, so this was a huge issue/concern for him. The room was small and rather crowded. On the upside, there was a decent-sized fridge and a microwave in the room. Only problem with the fridge was that things in certain areas/shelves of the fridge froze, ruining any produce we took along with us (baby carrots, lettuce for sandwiches, etc.). The bathroom was small and needs work! The shower hit me mid-chest. Needless to say, it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable for my husband and teenage son who are both taller than me. There was mold growing around the seam of the shower head.--nasty! Also, no plug of any sort available for the bath tub. There was no ventilation system or fan in the bathroom so it almost immediately becomes sauna-like. And, hot water was an issue if you tried to shower in the morning--never any available. The TV only had local network affiliate channels (ABC, NBC, CBS), a Spanish channel and HBO. Thankfully, we weren't there to watch TV and only watched a little news in the evening and before heading out in the morning. However, a decent selection would've been nice on the one day we got rained out at Disney and spent the afternoon/evening in our room. We never did go check out the pool or pool area, so I can't comment or give any feedback on that. The "breakfast refreshments" are not even worth calling "refreshments". If you plan to stay here, bring everything from your own sheets, to your own towels to toiletries. Their phone is just a display to make it "look" like a motel room, and don't expect the inn keeper who was busy baby sitting her child during office hours to respond to the exteremely slow drain /plumbing of the inn' s room. I'm just glad we were too exhausted from being at the parks for 2 days and didn't have to spend more time in the room than we had to. The location was really easy though and the building was fairly kept up so it wasn't too gross being in those rooms. Don't expect good service from the front desk (if you could call her that) and don't think you'll be getting more than 5 channels and wake up service cause their phones were dead. I like staying here because it is close to disneyland and it is great to have a place nearby to crash after a long day at the park. It is always clean and has little frills but I still recommend the place.
