Das Hotel an sich ist wirklich toll. Super Lage und auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Negativ ist, dass wirklich alles extra kostet. Internet gibt es fast an jeder Kneipe und an jedem Supermarkt umsonst. Da ist es schon befremdlich in einem so gutem Hotel rund 4 Eur für eine Stunde WiFi extra zu zahlen. Das Personal an der Rezeption spricht […] leider sehr wenig und schlechtes Englisch, ist aber auf Bali wohl überall so... Frühstück ist in Ordnung und auch eher durchschnittlich. Weitere Leistungen wie Getränke oder das Abendessen würde ich persönlich außerhalb genießen, da die Preise selbst in einem guten Deutschen Restaurant nicht höher sein können. Mehr

No free Wi-Fi at hotel area with expensive Wi-Fi voucher, which is a big turn off for guests. Front deall staffs are neither helpful nor polite. Room is small and crowded, in one word, It is a very unpleasant stay. Not recommended for any type of stay.

I chose this hotel based on the positive reviews other visitors left, and I am glad I chose it! It is right in the heart of Kuta, it is right across the beach and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The room was comfortable, 3 of us stayed in one room (Deluxe room) while it was great for the hotel to provide an extra bed, the room was a bit tight for […] 3 people. The room was air-conditioned, which is a necessity since Kuta is VERY HOT!! Breakfast was provided every morning (it is a buffet of a variety of food, both Western and Indonesian) and it was great food, so that is a huge plus! Staff was very friendly, couldn't ask for better hotel staff. If there are a couple things this hotel can improve on, they are: provide a lift to the upper levels, so guests don't always have to use the stairs, and provide a free wi-fi access. I think wi-fi access should be granted considering most major hotels and restaurants already provide wi-fi to their customers. But overall, I would recommend this hotel and will return in the future. We stayed at the Seaview from 5th to 13 March, we were welcomed very well and upgraded to a cottage type room, which was very quiet at the back of the hotel away from the pool area. The room was very clean apart from the seats which were badly stained and looked dirty, the service was very good and the staff were friendly. the hotel is on a par with […] Alum KulKul and Bali Vira except for the restaurant, The management really ought to change the theme from Italian to general type food as this is definitely not good Italian, apart from being one of the most expensive restaurants it is not consistent in the quality of the meals, its hit and miss. We were in the hotel for the Nyepi holiday and we had to eat at the restaurant, the hotel was nearly full but there was only about twelve people eating, this was the whole sitting which 5.30 until 7 pm when it got dark, and as there was no lights allowed they had to close. The chef at this restaurant seems to be an absent chef, on the three occasions we ate there he was on holiday, there better Italian places in Kuta, try Papa's at allam KulKul, Mozzarrellas at the Magani or for seafood and general try Kori, all of which are very good and reasonable with there prices, a Bintang at Rosso Vivo willcost you $3.40 plus 25% taxes, around the corner in Poppies Lane 1 it will cost you $1.80 all up, you decide which is better value. the staff are all very friendly and helpful. chef's are awesome nothing was to much bother for them. the only issue i had with the room was the shower over the bath tub which is not normally an issue except the bath was way to high to climb in and out of and the water ran around the outside of the tub and went all over the floor so climbing out was […] quite dangerous, thank god i was not intoxicated. Everyone working at Kuta Seaview were very helpful and friendly. Just like the Balinese way. We stayed in the Oceanview rooms. We had 3, as we had older children with us. Although the rooms did have a view of the McDonalds sign, roofs & trees, you could still see the Ocean. Some days we just watched the sunset from our room with a drink. The staff at the Kuta Seaview really went above and beyond (even for Bali standards) to ensure our holiday was memorable. It is only a 3 star hotel. They think themselves is a 4 star. My entire stay of 6 nights and they never wash the bathroom floor. They do not speak English that well. Never use the hotel room phone. I made 3 calls and 2 were cut off. They made me paid because they were connected. They do not think it was their phone system was poor. Later on they got […] their engineer to check and why at my expense? The 3 call that I made was to reconnect and started all over again with the airline from Canada. If you can not call from your hotel where can you call??? Taxi drivers refused to take us to the hotel because of the area of KUTA. It is a one way street. I will not stay there again. Mehr

Great overall value for Kuta area. Check-in personnel aggressively tried to move me to sister Ramayana property, which I deemed inferior due to location away from the beach, because of a "computer problem" that booked me into the wrong category (apparently upgraded) room. I vigorously resisted and finally was checked-in to the room that I had booked. […] This was uncalled-for conduct (they should have honored the hotels.com reservation from the beginning), and fortunately did not reflect the quality of the rest of my experience. I stayed here with my Fiancé and was a little disappointed with a few different things which I will mention: 1. The wi-fi was not free, which I knew and still booked, but it was not very cheap to pay for their wi-fi and you have to pay per hour (who in the world charges for wi-fi per hour now days), even a hostel has free wi-fi. 2. The design of the […] bathroom was very bad and when you took a shower it got wet everywhere as it would run off on to the floor. 3. The breakfast was quite large (buffet) but the quality of the food was not that great, for some people it might be fine, but I work in the hospitality industry and know when food is not fresh 4. We took a treatment at the Spa and it was not that great, it seemed as if the therapists were new and did not know how to give a massage... The location of this hotel is great, the staff is very friendly and it's worth staying here if you don't need wi-fi and don't care if the floor of your bathroom gets wet, but I am pretty sure you can find better for the same price or less. I am a frequent female lone traveler to Bali for business. (twice a year for the last 8 years) and I have stayed at numerous hotels in the Kuta, Legian area. I love this hotel and will go back again and again. It is small, quiet, lovely and the location is great. Great place to stay in central location! Staff were all very helpful and exceeded our expectations! Hotel very clean and tidy. Restaurant was quite expensive. Only down side was that our room was up the top floor and down the far right so it was very hot walking through the hall way. There is no seaview it is a view of another hotel or trees.

We stayed at this hotel last year, and given I have been to Bali 5 times, I would say I am familiar with the place. The hotel certainly has lost the etiquette from last year. Having spoken to staff again this year, I understand there is a new manager. Our room, a suite, was not cleaned as well as last year, certainly the bed was made and fresh towels […] each day but no face cloths this year and also the vanity, bath and toilet were not cleaned during our 9 night stay.... a cost cut here I would say. In the dining area this year, green tea and latte were available at an additional cost. Given we had paid for one of the higher end rooms, you would think this would be included with our breakfast. There appeared alot of staff in training and some of the girls, more senior at door greeting etc, seemed not very interested in doing the job, rather expecting the juniors etc do the work, whilst they chatted on various mornings. Also, we were not asked anything when we checked out; the staff member asked us if we had mini bar, which we did use on our 3rd night; this was not replenished at any stage, nor our form submitted to the office, we had to take it down on our check out. A little disappointing. Won't stay here next time, Bali has too many options. Mehr

Awesome hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful staff - they embody peace, tranquility, and efficiency. Lovely gardens. Close to everything - walk to absolutely anywhere - markets, restaurants, shops, beaches, waterpark, etc. Cross the road and you are at the beach. As a first-timer, I was suprised 'Deluxe' rooms do not have a sea view (as per hotel's […] title). They are a little small/pokey. Hotel location is directly across the street from the beach. You won't be able to see the beach from your hotel window though. Hotel service was excellent. Adi helped us arrange our tours and did a great job. There are other tour opperators outside the hotel esp if you walk around and it seems to be a bit cheaper, however for a couple of bucks, I think […] it's safer to just go with the hotel just to be sure. The price listed seems to be negotiable as you will learn that almost everything is Bali can be bargained for. The price is also for the car and not per person so if you have only two or even if you have 4 people, it's the same price. Kuta Seaview has a very nice layout and makes you feel like you're in paradise. Breakfast is the same every day and there is a lot of food catered to westerners. There is also too many Australians and westerners in Bali now, which is unfortunate. A lot of the restaurants around the area serve a lot of western food, but there are some that have great Indonesia and Balinese food. Everything about the hotel is great. The only mishap we had was that the room we got had a huge gap under the door and it seems like the small salamanders were able to get in. They are harmless, but if you don't like reptiles then you should check that out before settling down. Each room has it's own balcony even if it's on the ground floor. There are no elevators btw but there's only 3 floors. I would definitely recommend staying here. Mehr

The staff and service was excellent. its not a huge hotel so its not over crowded at breakfast or around the pool which has a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. The only negative point to this hotel is that I couldn't see the sea from my room. Having said that, I got upgraded from the seaview room to one of the deluxe garden suites. The hotel was very comfortable and I loved the massive four poster bed in my room. Would definitely return on my next trip to Bali.
