Atlantica Resort - Myrtle Beach

The overall stay was okay but the only thing that I was not satisfied with was the long waits for the elevator. I would recommend the hotel to friends and family.

We got a great rate on a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo. The room was pretty clean, but the hotel was not prepared for the crowds. One of elevators were down. They decided to clean our furniture mid way through so we were stuck with wet furniture for the rest of that day. The view was beautiful though, and even with problems it was a great deal.

As it turned out there were four buildings and only one place to check in - other three receiption areas were not staffed & doors locked. Person checking us in didn't know anything about the space - had never been in the spaces. Only one indoor pool because one was down for repairs. Never found fitness center. No information in condo as to location […] of any facilities in the 4 bldgs. Condo had original furnishings from 20 years ago - no updates except tub and rug. Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. Our outside door didn't lock - had to call twice to get it fixed, commode ran for four days, coffee pot was broke but they replaced in less than a hour. The bedrooms were very dark. No batteries in the tv remote. Requested several times and were told they would bring them right up. Cockroaches seen in the bathroom during the night. Ran out of toilet paper and could not get anyone to bring any. They gave us plenty of towels, but not much else. Didn't follow through on our requests or their promises. […] Will not stay here again. The location was great, amenities were great. Room could use a little updating - carpet was very badly frayed in numerous areas-easy to trip on. Also, could be a little cleaner-overall room was not bad-maids need to clean air vents (bathroom) had lint hanging off of it and the louvered doors had lint hanging off of it. The second day -they did not vaccuum […] our room or really wipe anything down, but on the third day they did vaccuum and wipe things down and did a better job. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Building Atlantica 1. It was very quiet and clean. The staff was very professional and courteous. We will be staying here again.

we had great times during our stay . Actually, we had a little problem at the check-in .But Receptionist Rachel did her best and resolved it easily. I and my family would like to thank to Rachel. She was amazing. I would recommend this hotel unless you look for something Luxury. it has a good location.

Hotel stay was excellent. I booked at the last min for the 4th of July. The hotel staff was great. They extended my stay without any issues, and for the same great rate. Great ocean view and great location. Close to many attractions. It was worth the price paid.

We just got back from Myrtle Beach. My husband and I took three of our grandchildren on a short four day vacation. Our condo was overlooking the beach with a roomy balcony. The rooms were not cramped like so many are. The Atlantica is located right in the heart of all the action. It is within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping, and a lot […] of activities. One of our granddaughters has muscular dystrophy, and has to use a wheelchair a lot. So, the hotel made sure that our condo was located very near an elevator. The staff was very polite, and helpful with all our needs. We definitely will be back there for our next stay. Mehr

The hotel seemed dated and could stand some sprucing. Rooms had a musty smell and carpet left your feet black despite being vacuumed. Honestly, I expected better for the money.

We came at the peak of a weekend holiday, we were given a room which was okay, but the fridge was leaking and their was a chip on the floor tile, I took pictures of those and went to the front desk, they were reluctant to place us in another room telling us that they will take care of the problem, which is pathetic because to fix the tile would require […] a few hours for the grout to dry...etc. But at the end, they put us in a decent room with it's own access to the amenities... Over all stay was satisfying! Mehr

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. In addition, the location was spot on!!!! The front desk staff was not very friendly, but the accomodations and upkeep of the property was wonderful and up to date. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved our stay in Myrtel Beach the hotel was great very close to everything you need. great veiw. It was well worth the low cost!!!!!!!! Clean and comfortable!!

Our check-in time was 3 pm. We arrived around 4 pm and was told that our room was not ready. It was not ready until 6:30 pm. This is not acceptable to me and my friends. Also, there were many noisy teenagers and adults on our floor which caused us not to sleep very much. We will not stay at this hotel again. Bad choice for us.

This is a hotel for families. The amenities were great. You are most likely not getting the room that is displayed in the pictures online because all suites are individually owned. So some are in a lot better shape than others. Our first room was in real rough shape and they moved us to another immediately. Because the rooms are old you can hear a lot […] of whats going on in hallways. The view was great from our balcony. Very close to everything and in walking distance to the new boardwalk and shops. Overall the rooms may have been very outdated but they were clean and the price was right. The staff here was very accomadating and extremely friendly. I would stay here again. Mehr
