Das Hotel ist wirklich super. Parkplatz kostenlos im eigenen Parkhaus. Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt ein sehr gutes Frühstück, auch warme Speisen und Waffelautomaten:-) dazu gibt es noch zwischen 17.30 und 19.00Uhr ein paar warme Snacks, Chicken Tenders, Maccaroni mit Käsesoße usw. dazu 3 Freigetränke, auch alkoholisch. Wir waren mit diesem Hotel rundrum zufrieden.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Einrichtung entspricht sehr hohen europäischen Standards. Man hat sich sofort wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Motto des Hotels ist der Weltraum - Mond und Astronauten sind fast überall present und perfekt ins Design integriert. Es wurde viel Liebe zum Detail angewendet und die Möbel sowie die Farbgestaltung sind einmalig! Im 8. Stock befindet sich die Hotel-eigene Bar, welche den Gesamteindruck stilvoll abrundet. Das Moonrise Hotel liegt an einer der 10 berühmtesten Strassen (Delmar Loop) von Amerika mit trendigen Shops und In-Lokalen. Es ist absolut empfehlenswert - würde jederzeit wieder hin!

Toller Service am Empfang, nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet für 10 Dollar m frisch.Obst, Pancakes, Müsli, leckerer Kuchen, Showcooking der Frühstücksomlets einfach nur gut! Sehr schönes Zimmer, kein Fluglärm, obwohl direkt am APT (3 Miles) Zimmer mit Kühli, Internet, Flatscreen TV, Bügeleisen, Föhn, Kaffemasch... Tolle bequeme Betten Alle 15 Min Shuttle z APT, holen Dich auch bei der Mietwagengesellschaft ab oder bringen Dich hin! Es passt einfach alles....

"Super 8 Belleville Illinois"
Nice quiet room. Good king size bed and flat screen TV. No Highway or train noise which was very nice. Breakfast was cereal and bread, pastries, but adequate. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay at again. Also nice chair and foot stool to read paper at night.

"Close to downtown Belleville, great price"
Hotel was very clean, great location - walking distance to downtown area of Belleville. Only about 30 minutes from St. Louis area. For the price, I was very pleased.
"Super 8 in Belleville Illinois"
A very basic hotel for the price, actually maybe priced a little high. The first thing that was noticed was the room had a wet musty smell like the air conditioner hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Overall, the room was clean, nothing fancy but adequate for a short stay.

"Can't be beat for the price"
I was born in the Metro-East area and I frequently travel to Belleville to visit relatives. I have stayed in just about every motel in a reasonable distance to the downtown Belleville and have found them to be in a state of decline to the point I don't think I'd put up my pets there, much less my wife and family. The Super 8 Motel is not only well-kept […] and maintained, with a polite staff (the night clerk has been particularly helpful the last few visits), but is also super convenient - being only a few blocks from the town square (or circle); from there one can take a right or left along IL 159 (a right will take you to the METRO station where you can hop a train to St. Louis as far as Lambert Field), or go straight and if you know your way you can be in St. Louis within 20 minutes - depending on traffic. No, it's not the Hilton, but for the price you can't beat it. If you don't like the continental breakfast, you're a few blocks from Denny's (on the left down 159). Mehr

It was the location I needed and easy access. Room was well kept, breakfast came with the room. Will stay again when I'm back in town and need a close place to stay.

I can't say that it was an awful stay, but I can't say it was a great on either. The A/C could work a bit better. The main problem is that I feel it could have been a good $10 cheaper.

The air-conditioning did not work well at all. The room was hot and smelled a little musky. The night manager was unhelpful and very rude. The location, however, was very conveniently located to downtown Belleville. When we first arrived, the bathroom light was out, but maintenance replaced the bulb immediately after we notified the front desk.
"This is a motel-not recommended"
This is a motel, not a hotel. The staff is nice enough but not very friendly. My room had a leak above the shower and the toilet leaked too. As a result there were water bugs in the bathroom. I informed the staff but they didn't seem overly concerned. I was going to stay 2 night but ended up only staying one because it wasn't very nice. I do not recommend […] staying here. The Drury Inn is much nicer and has free meals. I would recommend staying there instead. Mehr

Staff was friendly and checkin was quick. However the linens had obviously not been changed as the pillowcases reeked of perfume and makeup. Location in center of small downtown, but area is not that great. Staff unable to assist with even the simpliest of directions within a few blocks of hotel.

"Great for the price"
I've read some of the other reviews of this motel and found some of the negative comments to be a bit nit-picky and unfair. No, this is not a luxury hotel/motel, it is a well-kept, well-maintained budget motel and for the price is a great place to stay. I have relatives in the Belleville/Metro-East area and have found this place to be a great place […] to stay when in town. It's central location in Belleville, just a few blocks from the square and Illinois 159 makes it very convenient to travel almost anywhere in the St Louis area. You can take a left at the square, hook on to Illinois 15 and be in St Louis in 15 - 20 minutes, depending on traffic. I have stayed there several times in the last ten or so years and have never found any of my rooms to be dirty. The staff have always been friendly and helpful; the continental breakfast is just that - a continental breakfast - great for the price. If you want more there is a Denny's down by Hwy 15, just minutes away. Take a right and you're in Swansea and Fairview which is loaded with restaurants and eating places. In closing, I have stayed there several times, and will stay there again; and I would recommend it to others. Can't beat it for the price. Mehr

Everything about the room was great. I told the people at the front desk about the water not draining properly in the shower and they fixed it right away. the only problem I experienced at the hotel was the last night when all the construction guys who stayed there had all their equipment in the parking lot forcing me to park down the street. "A place to lay your head"
Was close to the bars, but could use updates. Also the coffee maker over the toilet would not pass health codes in other states - did not like that.

Okay, so in general this hotel stay was good. I enjoyed the free continental breakfast and the location was near stuff, but away enough for it to be quiet at night. The only complaint I had is that the "free wireless" did not work, but there was an internet connection cord. Also, the housekeeper attempted to clean my room at 4pm....Doesn't that usually […] happen earlier? Mehr

Location was great. Just blocks from the downtown square. Walking distance to the downtown stores and theater. We were pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner. It had a build-up of dirt around the edges. But for the price, we had everything we could have expected.

The room smelled horrible like an ashtray, the linen was dingy and the shower needed to be cleaned. The shower head had little water pressure.

This is a cramped hotel. The parking lot was very cramped, and worried about vehicle getting hit! Rooms were in great shape, just seemed to be alot of kids there. Downtown location is very unique!! I think over $50 for this hotel is really pushing it!
