Schönes gepflegtes Hotel direkt am Hafen gelegen Busverbindung in die Innenstadt fast alle 5- 10 Minuten . Saubere Zimmer nur Lift ist sehr langsam . Frühstück ist umsonst und dafür ok. !

Stayed here with my friend for 3 nights. Great location very convenient for shopping mall and quayside and easy accessible for buses into town. Highly recommend.

We spent another two nights in what has become our regular Edinburgh hotel. We use this hotel as we can leave the car for the duration of our stay and use the buses. The new Holiday Inn Express at Ocean Terminal, Leith is great value for money. Almost new, and well appointed, this hotel is directly opposite a huge shopping mall with Vue multi-screen cinema and several restaurants. Really enjoyed our 2 night stay,great late breakfast,good selection,quality coffee,nice sausages,no bits! Excellent location,it seems there is always a bus outside the hotel when you want it-who needs taxi's! Good car parking as well,all you need at a great price.

Stayed here for a Saturday night in December 2011. 2 mins walking distance to Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre. £7 taxi fare to Omni Centre & Playhouse. 2nd stay here, can't fault anything except parking is limited and used by non guests visiting shopping centre. I really didnt know what to expect when I booked this hotel on-line. The prices were far cheaper than many of the other hotels and guest houses in Edinburgh. The hotel was clean and considering how many people were staying there, it was peaceful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The local resturants were amazing and inexpensive. I cannot fault anything […] about my stay there and I would reccomend this hotel to my friends and family. Mehr

enjoyed our one night stay with three children - the staff were very accomodating arranging an extra bed in our room at short notice - thankyou! - the only negatives would be that the sofa bed was really uncomfortable and despite the breakfast being included in the room cost, being a coeliac not much that l could eat on my special diet.Very close to […] restaurants and shops and overall a lovely relaxing stay. Excellent. Took elderly mum and it was perfect. Fairly quite, but shops across road and restaurants No. 22 stops right outside hotel to take you to Princess Street. Britannia round corner.

Stayed at Holiday Inn as had read reviews that it was quiet. Upon arrival I asked if I could have a room in a quiet part of the hotel as I was attending a course in Edinburgh that weekend. I was told they only have a room that is next to a talking elevator! After complaining, I waited in my room for 15 minutes untill they tried to move me, they did […] and this time next to the main hotel lift which is the only visible lift from reception so everyone uses it! Needless to say I did not sleep a wink. I was told the next morning by reception that I should have stated on my booking that I wanted a quiet room! My view is, you the guest are paying a hefty price to stay in this hotel for a nights sleep and that is what you should recieve, regardless of where you are in the hotel! Don`t take the risk stay across the road at Premier Inn. Mehr

Not the greatest neighborhood as there's not a lot going on, but it's £7 in a taxi to the centre of town, the staff are lovely, and the hotel is clean and comfortable.

Hotel situated in a reasonable location at Leith on waterfront. Doorstep convenience for Royal Yacht Britannia and well located for East End of city. Close to Water of Leith with pleasant riverside walks.

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good breakfast. Very good value.

Staff were OK but no hot water on second morning meant cold shower. Not good enough at any price although this may have been a one off. I left a comment card with contact details. No contact yet from hotel.

We were able to book in at 11am which was excellent as we expected to have to wait until much later. Although the hotel was not within walking distance to the town, a regular bus stopped outside and took us to where we wanted to go very quickly, paying just £3 per day for the service. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable and the kitchen and reception […] staff were helpful, pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was adequate and well organised, although I would prefer bacon rather than sausage and there was not a choice. Overall, our stay was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Mehr

Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. Very convenient to City Centre. Bus stop outside Hotel and for £3.00 you could leave your car safely and leisurely travel around town. Food and room like Ibis chain. Good value for the money.

We enjoyed our stay, even although it was just overnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed at the choice of films you could hire and the fact that it was not a more up to date television. We left too early in the morning to sample the breakfast (0600). again the day and night staff were very efficient.

Great cost effective hotel to stay in. Large car park and very accessible bus transport availble outside for Edinburgh centre some 3miles away. Hotle very clean, friendly staff and clean rooms with all mod cons. Leith is becoming the gastronomic centre for Edinburgh, so great location for visiting city during the day and walking to eateries in the  […] evening. Mehr

the Holidays-Inn Express-Waterfront was well situated for our needs. Ocean terminal shopping centre was accross the street and so was the Brittania ship. Numerous buses routes to downtown Edinburgh. The rates were excellent for our budget and the included breakfast was delicious. We plan to return to this hbotel in a near future. LPF.

Inget att klaga på. Frukosten och rummen var bra.

Dejligt værelse med udsigt over vandet. Rent og pænt. Morgenmaden rigtid god. Beliggenheden god, trods afstand til centrum. Adskillige busser lige udenfor døren til centrum.

Helt ok hotell. Kallt på rummet trots att vi försökte höja tempen. Frukosten var inte den bästa. Bra service och mycket hjälpsam personal.

Buona l'accoglienza, stanza confortevole e pulita. Buona prima colazione. Purtroppo l'hotel è lontano dal centro ma è servito molto bene da molte linee di bus. Ottimo per la visita al Britannia, lo yacht reale, dal quale si trova a pochi metri.

Veldig bra hotell, med topp service. Gode senger, fine bad og generellt veldig rent og pent. Frokosten var midt på treet, helt grei "kickstart", men ikke veldig stort utvalg. Stille område, utenfor sentrum, sov veldig godt.
