Das Hotel hat die 4 Sterne voll verdient! Wir würden das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Frühstück ist vergleichbar mit jedem 4 Sterne Hotel in Deutschland. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern und entsprechen auch absolut dem Standard eines 4 Sterne Hotels in Deutschland.

Für unseren einwöchigen Venedigbesuch suchten wir einen idealen Ausgangspunkt und haben ihn im Hotel Ai Pini gefunden. Auf dem kleinen parkähnlichen Grundstück (etwas kleiner, als die Fotos vermuten lassen) konnten wir unser Fahrzeug die ganze Woche sicher abstellen. Ca. 15 m vor der Hotelzufahrt befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle und mit der Linie 7 kann man ohne Umsteigen direkt zum Busbahnhof in Venedig fahren, wo sich auch die Vaporettostationen befinden. Die Busfahrt dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde - der Bus ist je nach Tageszeit relativ voll. Vom Busbahnhof in Venedig kann man in ein Vaporetto umsteigen oder nach Überquerung der nächsten Brücke direkt die Gassen von Venedig erkunden. Im Hotel konnten wir auch die Kombikarten Hellovenezia für Bus und Vaporetto erstehen. Diese kostete für sieben Tage fünfzig Euro pro Person und hatte sich bereits nach dem zweiten Tag gerechnet. Das Personal im Ai Pini ist absolut freundlich und sehr hilfbereit - angefangen beim Empfang bis zum sehr guten Restaurant (empfehlenswert). Es ist jedoch ratsam, die etwas größeren Zimmer möglichst mit Blick auf den Park zu wählen - darin kann man sich aber sehr wohl fühlen (auch wenn es keine Zimmer mit Balkon gibt). Alles in allem als Ausgangspunkt für Venedigbesuche sehr geeignet.

Unser Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt . Das Hotel wurde wohl erst frisch renoviert,. Die Einrichtung ist adrett gestaltet und gemütlich . Lediglich unser Zimmer war etwas klein ,für unseren Zweck aber vollkommen ok .Das Personal ist denk ich über jeden zweifel erhaben . Freundlich hilfsbereit und angenehm. Zur nächsten Buslinie sind es lediglich 3 min Fussmarsch . Tickets für Bus und Vaporetto können gleich an der Rezeption gelöst werden . Das erspart lange warterei an den Schaltern in Venedig bzw beim Busfahrer. Wir können es nur empfehlen

Ca' Dei Conti liegt in Venedig, Castello, in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Galleria Stampalia, Markusdom und Seufzerbrücke. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gehören: Markusturm und Basilika San Giovanni e Laterano.

Castello grenzt an die Stadtviertel San Marco und Rialto und erstreckt sich östlich bis zu einigen der ruhigsten und grünsten Stellen Venedigs, was diesen Stadtteil zu einem sehr vielfältigen "Sestiere" macht. Der bekannteste Ort hier ist das Ufer Riva degli Schiavoni neben der Seufzerbrücke, das einen malerischen Blick auf die Lagune bietet. Nur wenige Meter von den Touristenmagneten entfernt liegen die kleinen und ruhigen, typisch venezianischen Seitenstraßen. In diesem Teil der Stadt sind viele beeindruckende Kirchen und Kunstsammlungen zu bewundern.

"Absolut zentrale Lage"
Wir waren in der Dependance Palazzo Conti Querini untergebracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist perfekt, das Zimmer war genau wie auf den Bildern, sehr sauber und gepflegt, das Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nur der Frühstücksraum dürfte etwas größer sein oder besser genutzt werden, denn es kann passieren, dass gerade […] kein Platz frei ist. Mehr

Gutes, sauberes Hotel an super Lage. Freundliches Personal. Allerdings ist das für mich klar ein 3-stern Hotel und hat keine 4-sterne verdient. WLAN-Zugang kostet extra (€ 6.00 / Stunde)
"Nettes Hotel"
In der Nähe des Markusplatzes, aber auch kurze Wege zur Rialot und Strada Nova. Sehr ruhig, da in einer Nebengasse ohne Bootsverkehr im Kanal. Einige Lokale in der Nähe. Etwas störend, dass man die Raumtemparatur nur über die Rezeption steuern konnte. Gebläse etwas laut.
"3 Nächte im Ca' Dei Conti"
Wir waren zu dritt in einem Zimmer untergebracht. Die Doppelbetten waren leider etwas zu hart, das Einzelbett hingegen stand in einem kleinen schachtartigen Nebenraum. Aber ansonsten war das Zimmer in Ordnung und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war umfangreich, wobei allerdings die angebotene Eierspeise und der Frühstückspeck extra zu bezahlen sind. Der […] Frühstückraum ist im Vergleich zur Anzahl der vorhandenen Hotelzimmer zu klein bemessen; manche mussten auf ihr Frühstück im Stehen warten. "Gute Lage, Ruhig"
Das Hotel liegt sehr nah am Markusplatz u den wichigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten.Die Zi. sind klimatisiert was sehr angenehm war bei Temp. um 35 Gard draussen.Das Zi.war gross aber der Kleiderschrank stank extrem nach schweiss so dass wir unsere Kleider nicht aufhängen konnten. Die Aufenthaltsräume sind nicht gut zu finden und das W-Lan hat nicht funktioniert […] obwohl als Leistung angegeben! Der Kaffe war schrecklich ,u. das in Italien. Fairly ok. It is a bit expensive given the fact that the hotel room is small and not close to the canels. I think it is only 3 stars hotel instead of 4 stars.

Our "Superior Room" was clean and well decorated as described on the website. Daily maid and breakfast service was excellant. All staff we met were very helpful, polite and attentive. I was disappointed to be allocated a room in the annexe when I had specifically booked a superior room in the hotel itself - we missed the obvious ambience of the main […] hotel. My husband and I loved Venice (or Italy, in general). We had a wonderful and romantic time, in Venice. Overall, the hotel has a excellent location and facilities. But, a four star hotel should provide some help for the clients with their luggage. At first they put us in a small room with dirty walls and a bed with a loose headboard. If they wouldent have let us switche rooms the score would have been alot lower. We complained about the room not being what we paid for and then we got a much better room.

Venice is a fun city, and this hotel is great. We very much enjoyed staying there. We upgraded to have a canal view, and that was well worth it. A good location - a short walk to everything.

Having read a previous review of this hotel I had much the same experience.The room booked was not the one that was offered and was not in the main hotel but in an appartment across from it. None the less it was comfortable and extremely well located for exploring central Venice. We had a wonderful time Ca' Dei Conti. It was very close to San Marco square at a very affordable price. Service was good, included breakfast buffet not so good. Our room was at the entrance of the hotel but we didn't have any problems with noise, it was generally quite. overall the hotel stay was ok. Bit of a disappointment with showers as hot water ran out after one person had a shower. Door to exterior came off its hinges. Toilet had a blockage but the hotel attended to it quickly. The wifi was the biggest disappointment as we were not aware on any of the web ads that you had to pay for the internet facility. When we arrived were told we would be in the annex which was unexpected and a cause for concern. If you are booking to stay in the hotel that is where you expect to be. That said, our room was nice and the service was good. Wifi did not work despite a surcharge, we had to use the hotel computer for a fee. When we travel we need wifi, don't advertise […] it as available when it's not. And how about telling people that for the hotels.com price you are going to be in the annex not the main building. "Best location could not ask for anything more"
Great value for the price. 5 minutes from St. Mark's Square. Central, clean. It was a bit weird though as the hotel has an annex building where we stayed that was not a part of the main complex. This was odd at first, but was really good as we felt like locals, free to come in and out without a door man. One minor minus is that since the hotel was […] retro-fitted, the bathroom is a subroom inside a room. Hard to explain, but basically if you are shy about using the bathroom (such as farting very loudly), it could be slightly uncomfortable with a significant other. I highly recommend this hotel. "A real gem!"
Although we had a problem on arrival with our room not being ready our overall stay was very pleasurable. The room was not ready as the previous guest had not packed their things and not met the deadline of 1200 to vacate the room. We arrived at 1430 and they were still not back. We were offered another hotel for that night but we declined as we were […] only staying for 3 nights and didn't want to waste time changing hotel! After a few un pleasant exchanges of words we were offered an apartment in the building opposite the hotel. I was not impressed that we would not be staying in the main hotel but the room was absolutely beautiful! Breakfast was fantastic although there was a small surcharge for hot food. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on the hotel terrace on two evenings. This was delightful, a really beautiful spot and the wine was only fifteen euros a bottle, with an ice bucket! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite an unpromising start and we will definitely stay there again. Mehr
"Ca del Conti in excellent location."
Quiet neighborhood. Close to everywhere in Venice. We were in a quad room (2 adults, 2 teens) and was perfect for 4. Breakfast was good. The only thing I did not like: Nobody can help us with our luggage at the check out time because they only have 1 person in the reception for 2 buildings early in the morning and we had to carry our luggage in the […] stairs between the 2 buildings. Rooms small but ok. Internet costs > 20 eur per day. Additional breakfast charge for ham and eggs - warm dish. Crazy. I think this ripping off has to stopp. Thanks
very nice location and really authentic room. we booked one room for two adults and two kids- we got two huge rooms that were connected with a nice bathroom. beds were OK, not super comfortable but definitely worth the price. breakfast was good and plenty, staff was very friendly. we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was beautiful and was right on one of the canals. Breakfast was included and was very good. There were some issues in our room with a couple of lights and outlets not working but other than that, the room was huge (we had a family of 5 and there was room to spare!) and decorated beautifully. I stayed in this hotel before and the room was okay therefore I book it again, but this time they allocate two rooms that are in another building, which that building is not fully furnished. After that we asked the reception the change rooms for us. They are willing to change but with bad attitude, and they allocate a room which is in the roof, and […] it's poorly furnished. "First stop: Venice!!"
The hotel gave us a SUITE! We needed two child beds, but we were assigned a large, beautiful suite. It was suitably ornate and clean. No smells and no mosquitos were discernible. We enjoyed the hotel Ca' Dei Conti but it was very difficult to find. The hotel is seperated in two buildings and they are not next to each other. We wandered the streets with our suitcases for an hour asking for directions to the hotel. As in most of Italy, especially Venice, the hotels are not suitcase/handicap friendly. There are many stairs and […] uneven cobblestone streets. The hotel was charming and authentic however once we found it. Mehr

"Cheap price, but difficult to find"
The hotel was cheap, however very hard to find. I followed the exact directions on the website and didn't find it. I told the hotel clerk that the directions should be more precise and he disagreed with me. Our room was right next to the cafeteria so it was a bit noisy in the morning. There was no FREE continental breakfast - there was extra charge […] for eggs and sausage. Other than that it was ok. Just a place to sleep in. Mehr

"Venice for fun"
this palce was great. It is uner renovation. It did not affect us. It will be great in a month or two. Two of the recetionistis were great one was very tired... not so good. Breakfast was enough for us. Extra for eggs and bacon.
Great location...easy to find from water bus stop...beautiful big room and good breakfast...only downside was we paid extra for a bed for a third adult and it was the most uncomfortable rollaway imaginable...the king size bed was pretty firm but not uncomfortably so.
