Plaza Hotel Longmont - Longmont

A Sleep Number bed - great, but rips in the sheets. New tile in the shower but old tile with dirty grout in the bathroom. It's like they are updating one item at a time, this week it's the beds, next week the carpet. Rather than doing an ara of the hotel. The sign is unlit and VERY difficult to find at night.

This was one of the nicest hotel experiences I have had . Bed was super comfy, staff were very helpful and friendly. Full real breakfast . Better than most high end hotels I have stayed at. For people who like good beer you are in between (walking distance) to oskar blues and left hand breweries. will stay here again

We did not know what to expect being that this is not a big chain hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Great location and superb service.

This hotel used to be the IT place to stay in Longmont. It has been around a while but is holding rather well. However, Our toilet was dirty so that was a little annoying but more annoying is the Sleep # beds. In theory I think they would have been great but the one in our bed did not deflate so you literally rolled out of bed because of the enormous […] air pocket below you. So really there are much more comfortable mattresses out there. So if you test your bed before hand and make sure your toilet is clean it really is a decent hotel right next to the mall, movie theatre, a couple bars and a handfull of restaurants. Oh but the "included breakfast" not something to write home about course they usually aren't. Mehr

The hotel is clean, staff friendly, rooms are comfortable and its beside the Old Chiagco which is a decent pub. However its way to close to the train that goes by at weird hours of the morning blowing the horn, it woke me up every night of my stay.

Nice room. Small shower. Great breakfast. Accepts pets. Very quiet. Would stay there again.

The television was horrible, so the money we spent to watch a movie was a complete waste. We needed to get in touch with the staff at about 3am and there was no one there. 15 minutes later, as I was leaving a note, the guy came back in saying he'd been out smoking. The bed was a sleep-number bed with a leak, so by morning we had gone from a 70 to a […] 15. The breakfast was lackluster. Each day there were three items (usually some scrambled eggs, a meat item, and either potatoes or pancakes). They were not bad, but they stop serving breakfast very early, so don't even think about sleeping until 9! Overall, this is not the quality I would expect from Motel 6, let alone something that cost this much per night. I have, believe it or not from what I am writing here, very low threshold for satisfaction for a hotel room. I travel frequently for work... this place was just disappointing. Mehr

We needed a quick room reservation because of family illness so the first time we booked a room it was purely due to geography...located close to the hospital. However, when we returned a few weeks later we rebooked because of our first experience. I was very pleased with the comfort of the bed, linens and pillows. The location was also great with many restaurants and shopping close by. I was disappointed with the 'free' breakfast. It wasn't very good and it did not start until 7am on the weekend. I would have been happier with a 6am start time.

One of the lowest priced hotels in the area. The place was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Next time I am in Longmont, I will book my room here.

Beautiful location and a very nice hotel.

The hotel is a short drive to Union Reservoir and walking distance to Oskar Blues brew pub and a ton of chain restaurants. The hotel restaurant had pretty good food and the glasses of the house wine were huge -- one glass was easily 2 drinks anywhere else. The free breakfast was nothing to brag about, but my expectations for a free breakfast buffet […] are not very high. The hotel is dog friendly and were able to get a non-smoking room, which isn't always an option when we travel with our dog. Mehr

We stayed 2 nights. The breakfast was pretty good the first morning with everything you could want. The second morning had about half the selections offered the prior morning and running out of selections as well. Otherwise a comfortable place to stay.

Hotels.com rating of this facility at 3.5 stars is inaccurate. This is an older hotel and I question whether management wants to put any money into it to improve conditions.This should probably be a 2.0 or 2.5 facility. Breakfast was pretty good by complimentary breakfast standards.

I booked this room as a smoking room. There was no indication what so ever that this was a non smoking hotel. It wasn't until I saw a 100.00 charge on my credit card that I knew something was wrong.

The hotel definitely could use some updating, there is a very musty smell throughout the hallways. The front desk was very outdated and right away you have an idea what the rest will be like. The staff was VERY friendly and the room was clean but I did find a spider in the bed my daughter was sleeping in. She saw it run across her pillow and freaked […] out so I killed it and traded her beds. I was going to call and change rooms but it was so late and we had so much to move. The pool is very rough and every time my daughter went swimming she was cutting her toes/feet o the bottom of the pool. I would probably never stay there again, I just prefer newer hotels. Mehr

The hotel was a close to my son's apartment and was very nice and clean. The breakfast on Saturday and Sunday was ok, all was great except for the eggs on Saturday~ overall, I would take advantage of their breakfast if I stayed again. Upon checking in, the young lady at the desk was very nice and helpful, but there was a young man there later who was […] more interested in showing his pictures of his recent trip to Ireland than his guests. Frankly, this young man, who I did not get his name, was not friendly. Very short, quick answers, he acted like I was bothering him with questions. I would stay at the Plaza hotel again because it was close to my sons apartment, but, I do hope if/when I make it back that a nice young lady helps me again. One other point, one of the employees daughters (?) tied up the computer in the lobby for patron use, and I was unable to use it. Overall, the hotel was very clean and nice in appearance. Very convenient location for my stay, and lovely accomodations, very comfortable. Only suggestion is that they make their sign more visible at night-I drove right past it twice in the dark.

This hotel is nice, but the room (suite) had a very small toilet/shower room. The rest of the room was very large! The warm buffet breakfast was nice and was included in the price.

Great hotel that accepts dogs at no charge. Easy to find and a great value.

My only negitive issue was finding the darn place late at night. Must have drove passed it . I called the desk to get directions. Told the clerk what direction I was now heading & exactly what streets I was crossing as I had him on the phone. He turned me back around. Once I made it all the out of town to I-25 & Timbuc 2, I called him again. He had […] gotten his Westbound mixed up with his Eastbound. Then when I finally found the place, I saw why anyone would have missed it. It WAS a Raddison Hotel untill recent & now in transition. The original signage was covered up with a BLACK canvas with very, very small sun fading white letters and nothing to light it up. In the dark, It looked like a office park set back from the road. The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Only issue is that there weren't towels by the pool and I had to inform the front desk. It took them quite a while to get them out.

I came from Savannah, Georgia to help my son move into an apartment at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I was anticipating an exhausting stressful time. However, staying at the Radisson in Longmont, which is just 12 miles out of Boulder, served as a get away from the list of chores that I had to do to get my son settled. I actually had an unexpected […] mini vacation. The hotel has lots of luxury add ons, such as, an extra large room with sleep number beds, a large step in shower, extra towels and a full hot breakfast . There is a gorgeous landscaped pool area, which was very relaxing. All this was for a very reasonable price. The hotel restaurant, Fusion, serves excellent food and prides itself on specialty drinks. This made my experience feel like I was far away from the stressful life that I live and the work that I was there to do. This was a nice surprise. Mehr

Farther than expected from Boulder, but the hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. Very nice pool area. Good breakfast - my kids loved it.

We were disappointed in the hotel facility -- lack of conveniences and maintenance. Desk staff were great!

We stayed at this hotel because of it's close proximity to Lyons, Colorado where we attended a wedding. I paid a few bucks more for this hotel because it has the Sleep Number bed, complimentary breakfast, and a pool. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The Sleep Number bed was uncomfortable though and the "hot breakfast" was extremely disappointing […] (soggy waffles, dried out eggs). The pool was tiny and full of splashing kids so we opted out of that. Overall, it was a decent place to sleep. Mehr

I am in Longmont four times a year on business and always stay at the Radisson. The staff is courteous, the room is clean and comfortable, wireless is free and the signal is powerful, and the complimentary breakfast is good. Plus -- and this is very important to me -- guests get to workout for free at a large, fully-equipped fitness center about 1/2 […] mile away, which opens at 8:00 AM Monday to Friday. Mehr

My only complaint...dim CFL bulbs did not properly illuminate the room.

I got up early Sunday morn. Went to the lobby looking for coffee and found none. The night clerk, Chris fixed me a huge cup of steaming coffee. What a nice thing to do for a guest. The rest of my experience mirrored that same coffee break:) Ernie

I thought that the hotel was a relatively good value and offered good service. During the booking process, I chose a room with a king-sized bed, and after making the reservation I requested through hotels.com a quiet room. When I checked in, the desk clerk said that, because I had requested a king-sized bed, I was being upgraded to the "executive wing" […] of the hotel, which turned out to be in a separately locked corridor. Since the bed size was specifically a part of the reservation, I doubt that caused the upgrade. I would guess that the request for quiet caused it. It was a superior room with a sitting area, and it may therefore be worthwhile to make such a request along with the reservation. My only other comment is that the breakfast buffet is adequate but nothing special. There was a shortage of healthy choices for breakfast but, judging by the way most of the guests were loading up on the pancakes, eggs and pork products, the breakfast seemed to be serving its market. Large room. Adjustable bed. Wet bar. Dinner in "Fusion" restaurant was excellent. Excellent breakfast.
