Sehr saubere und gut eingerichtete Zimmer.Nettes und sich kümmerndes Personal. Liegt allerdings etwas sehr außerhalb.Für einen Zwischenstopp, um noch ein anderes Ziel zu erreichen, Klasse.

Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.Das .Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Föhn, Bügeleisen und -brett, Mikrowelle.Heiswasserbereiter. TV. In San Antonio ist man ohne Auto wie im Gefängnis -total unbeweglich. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns optimal in der Nähe unserer Verwandten, das heisst 10 Minuten Autofahrt mit Tempo 100 kmh.oder 15 Minuten bis Downtown

Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für eine Übernachtung vor einem frühen Abflugtermin. Ein kostenloser Shuttle bringt einen in fünf Minuten zum Flughafen. Gute Shopping Mall kann zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreicht werden.

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht da (Rückflug), aber das Hotel hat direkt überzeugt und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Super eingerichtete Zimmer. Alles wirkte wie neu renoviert. Bequeme Betten und viel Platz. Sehr empfehlenswert. In Deutschland wäre das Hotel locker ein 4-Sterne-Hotel.

"Ghetto"
Run down and pics on site are not of actual property. Rooms are filthy and cobwebs everywhere as well as roaches. Looks like people live here for extended periods of time. They offered to move me to the other property for more money but its still false advertisement. Cannot recommend this place even for a homeless person

Bed was extremely hard and bath tub did not work, only shower. Carpet was old. For the price, hotel was adequate for one night. Longer stays would be uncomfortable. Breakfast was good, although waffle iron was sticky. Non-stick spray for waffle iron was not available.

I booked this hotel at the Hotels.com website, when you get there they tell you that Homegate Studios is not the property you are in even though that is what the address says, instead, they say, the property you are at is Rodeway Inn and that Homegate Studios is the dilapidated property next door, then they tell you if you want to stay there you have […] to pay more. They checked me into 3 different rooms before I finally found one that wasn't in ruins. One of the rooms they checked me into was still under construction with the air ducts all over the floor. Then I had the guy at the front desk calling my room harassing me, telling me that I had to pay more money to stay in that room. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. IT IS A NIGHTMARE. There was no cable working or remote for the TV and the microwave and refrigerator were not working. I called it in and we had cable, a remote and a new refrigerator by the2nd night. It was mostly clean and quiet.

"It provided what we needed!"
We brought our 4 kids to San Antonio to go to the Alamo and Sea World. I waited until the last minute to book a hotel room. We were staying 3 nights so this hotel fit in our budget. Our room was supposed to be non smoking, but the oder upon walking in was stale and smokey. After turning on the air conditioner the smell somewhat went away. We got a room […] with a king size bed and brought a blow up mattress for the kids. The bed was suprisingly comforable. The only down side to the bed was the bedding. The fitted sheet did not fit and by the morning it was not on at all. The towels were very old and small. OTHER THAN THAT.....we would stay here again for the the price. It was 15 minutes away from down town and 15 minutes away from Sea World. Next time, we will just bring our own covers and sleep on top of the comforter. The only thing w used in the kitchen was the fridge. It kept everything nice and cool. The bathroom is very small but there is a sink and vanity that is VERY LARGE outside of the bathroom. The breakfast in the mornings is wonderful. The only down fall to the breakfast is the time they serve it. 6am-9am. We were waking up around 8:40ish and having to run down to get there before 9. We were able to park our vehicles right in front of our room. We even went down to the pool to let the kids swim. The pool was very clear and clean. The hot tub was going, but the heating element went out so it was not warm. For the price, this is about as good as you will find in the area. Budget friendly for sure! Mehr

"not bad"
My fiance and I spent 3 nights and were happy with the room. I was a bit leary after reading all the horrible stories and reviews, but was pleasently surprised. A couple minor flaws in the room, but not at all sertious, Decent breakfast, friendly staff, and the room was big and comfottable, I will stay again when the situation arrises.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was dirty and very outdated. It had an odor. I should have listened to the reviews. The location is in very isolated area. I felt uncomfortable leaving my car in the parking lot. I was placed in the back of the building facing a field and a ditch with garbage. The room had roaches. "Nice stay"
I had a nice stay. Everyone was friendly and the stay was very comfy. My only complain is parking. On the side i was on there was only 3 spaces for parking, so me and the other people in the other 10 rooms had to hurry and try to get to the parking. When i would leave i wouldnt have a place to park and when they would leave i would have to hurry and […] get the spot. This hotel is horrible. First of all the staff is very rude and does not like to help with any directions of the area. The hotel was suppose to be a suite with a full kitchen wbut all it has is a fridge. Out side it looks as if the hotel may have been two other hotels names econo lodge and best western and now this n ame but all signs are still up. this hotel booked online is called red roof inn and suites but it is really another name. the hotel was purphased by a no name company the hotel was trashed the outside was unbelieveable the inside however was a little better. the room was suppose to have a full kitchen but it had no pots pans (no utensils at all). "Good Size"
We hated the location and condition of the exterior. The suite needed to be updated, very dated furnishings. A/C didn't work properly. Very uncomfortable for the bed farthest from the A/C. The suite was a good size. We had plenty of room for a family of 5. Hotel staff was friendly.

Roaches in the bathroom. Would not let us stay on ground floor,instead we were put upstairs on the back side of the hotel. No one is actually at this hotel as far as management. You have to go to the hotel in front to talk with anyone. NO POOL..hotels.com lists a pool for this hotel but they DO not have one! You have to drive around the block to a gym. […] Breakfast is a joke..water was off for more than 6hrs. We had to keep asking when it would be fixed. Had to ask for towels. Over all experience was terrible. I was sort of skeptical at first because of the negative reviews i had read. But im the type of person that doesn't go by what others say, i have to experience myself and go by my own judgement. Im glad i did on this one, the reviews i had read about this hotel were wrong. This hotel was great, not only was it cheap, it was clean, comfortable and the […] service was good. The people were very friendly and the hotel is in a very convenient area. It was a little confusing at first for me to find it, but once i did it was worth it. The rooms are spacious and comfy. I will stay there again when i make another trip to SA and i will recommend it to my friends and family. I got my moneys worth plus more! Mehr

"Confusing/Weird hotel stay"
The bottom of the tub was horrible n disgusting, you could easily stub or hurt yourself if you got 2 close 2 the bed bcuz of frames the mattresses were on. My daughter n I hurt ourselfs n started bleeding. A very nice handyman had 2 come 2 fix the tv in the room in order 4 us 2 be able 2 c tv. The vent around the ac unit was falling apart. Other than the pool not fit for use (they were cleaning it the better part of the week I stayed there), the room was comfortable, pretty clean, and appliances working. Customer Service agent at check in was accommodating. Finding the actual hotel was not easy, but I felt the location was convenient to alot of amenities. Check Inn was good, nice gentleman that check us in. Hotel room is very good. different type of hotel room then normal hotels. Rooms seem to be bigger. Price, can't beat it for the room. The hotel itself is upgradeing, new paint job, looks like new name is comeing. "appeared to be a nice hotel but..."
the air conditioner did not work, the first room they gave us was not in a usuable condition, the bath tub was filthy, the room did not appear to be cleaned at all. the towels were paper thin and there were only two small towels. i went back to the front desk and they gave me another room that was slightly better but the air con still had trouble cooling […] the room. not worth the money... We went to this hotel expecting to check into Home Gate, but apparently it used to be Quality Inn (sign was still there). Now it's called La Cantera or something like that (sign for that, too). Not sure which we checked into!!! The room was ok, but it could have been better. The couch in there was a nice touch. "Stay from Hell !"
Ok im gonna make this quick: AC didnt work in first room they assigned to us and it took them 5 hours to finally come and check it (the maintenance man kept ignoring us) and switch us then the toilet in the room they moved us to didnt work, we were so over the whole thing and soooo tired we just went to bed.

Hotel was not a nice one at all air did not work bathroom not clean . Hotel staff unpleasant . We were unable to get towels cause they had no clean ones 2 towels in a room 4 people stay in . Pool was very dirty. If I were you I would no longer deal with this hotel it gives you a bad name . I was also told that they were going to cancel my reservation […] do to a mistake on there part . Worst hotel experience I ever had . Also it made frist night og vacation very unpleasant. We had to move matress to front room in order to sleep cause room would not cool down my husband had to sleep on coach do to this problem and one child on floor on blankets . I was very displeased with the service cause noone wanted to fix this problem it should not take 15 to 24 hrs to cool down a room . I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies. The hotel room was not clean when we first arrived and it looked like the floors had not been vacuumed in a month. The room did have a kitchenette that had dirty stove tops and shelves that were coming apart.
