Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig an der Stadtmauer der Altstadt von Avignon. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Ideale Parkplatzmöglichkeit beim Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt bestens.

Hotel is located in main area! Stay away from rooms that are being painting - Smell is bad. Payment Parking was not shoed in the hotel description(17 Euro per night)

The hotel is convenient but not well appointed. For a 4 star rated hotel it was disappointing. There is no longer a restaurant and the rooms desperately need updating and the carpeting should be replaced.

I would rate this as a value priced 4 star hotel, although the service was subpar (when we informed the front desk that we were out of bar soap, they said we had to go to reception to pick it up. No chance of them delivering it.) On the other hand, we were upgraded to a suite free of charge. Also, the hotel is conveniently located just outside the wall […] of the old city. Located outside the ramparts making it a good location with less noise during the festival. WiFi was not working. Go to L'Horlitage for breakfast. Price is very high.

it was so hot in the room it was horrible.They told me the air conditioning is not like America. Great i laid there 2 nights and practicaly sweated to death. They gave me a bar of soap the size of ,no lie a quarter, and when i used it that first day they did not even replace it when they made the room.By then it was the size of a dime. I called to get […] more and I was going to take a shower and it took an hour to get it. Asked for a cork screw to open my wine an the guy came up and ruined the cork in the wine. I had to show a FRENCH goy how to open a bottle of wine.I have travelled many places and I would list this hotel as a F-. horrible.Also coffee for 2 was maybe a half a cup a piece from room service. My recomendation to hotels .com would be to take this hotel off your list. Total rip off Mehr

Avignon Grand is near the station and just outside the city walls, close to all the must -see sights. Spacious lobby and enclosed garden area. Light and airy. Dissappointed with breakfast. Wasn't worth 16 euros.

this could be a 4 star however the matress and pillows were those of a 1 star the worst we have ever experienced, disappointing as the location, general condition and staff were favourable. the ownership group cut costs in the worst possible department as hotels are intended for clients to get a quality sleep particularly at this price.

Rooms and beds were a very good size - a welcome treat from my usual French experience. Service was good - although the cleaners were sometimes a little too eager, despite the Do Not Disturb on the door. The location is great - once you find it. The accommodation is very good. The staff at the desk needs to be more informative about parking. Suggest 2 options: offer valet parking or provide a card with how to deal with parking. I was able to purchase a card to exit the garage. There were 2 pay machines located in the garage. One of them was not working.

It's a 10 min walk to a lot of the sights in Avignon. The hotel itself was really a great bargain. Spacious rooms with a living area, safe and free wifi in the lobby. Good breakfast too!

Just outside the old historic walled city. Nice Hotel. Great location.

My wife and I loved our stay in this hotel. It is outside the main city walls, but just a brief stroll to a main road and the old walls are visible right outside the hotels front door. The hotel was easily accessible and had parking underneath, which made it easy to leave and get on a main road. There was a computer with internet that was free for guests. […] The main desk area appeared very chic and gave a warm tone and feeling. The rooms were well appointed and modern, and had an extra sitting area with an additional patio that looked out on a commons area. I felt the hotel was a great value for what we paid. Mehr

No internet at room, no tea/coffee making facility, very old, out of dated furniture, a really dumb feeling. Only 1 lift very slow, room big but lack of feeling, restaurant only open for breakfast, no room service later night. Staff cannot understand English. Definitely not worth the money!

Hotel was in an ideal location. Just outside the City Walls, and right next to the train station. The main road through the city itself was a couple of minutes walk away. Hotel staff were very friendly. Upon arrival we were given a map of the city and a tourist information guide, with details of restaurants and local events. There was complimentary […] WiFi in the lobby and bar/lounge. The only fault was not knowing how to work the AC in the room, but that's more my fault i suppose. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would look to stay there again. Mehr

The hotel was just fine for a non-French-speaking American couple. The cool part of Avignon is inside the wall. The Grand is just outside the wall across a busy boulevard. One might feel more a part of things at one of the small hotels inside.

Reasonably priced, but a little tired and dated. Rooms are very spacious by European standards, but are in need of a face lift.

This hotel was very comfortable, but is has a big hotel feel, somewhat generic. It is close to the old city and just down from the railway station. You need to get a transfer from the TGV station into town, but its cheap.

The room and bathroom were very large. There was also a sitting room alcove. The hotel is situated next to the Central Railway Station and is a short walk to downtown.

Location - is excellent, you can get to the main shopping street and local bars and restaurants for a few minutes walk. Although our room looked out onto a busy road there was no traffic noise due to double glazing/sound proofing. The rooms are spacious with two double beds and a sitting area- only complaint would be that the bathroom (shower) was […] slightly in need of a refurb and the bath was a bit small - very clean though...also for some reason we were short of coat hangers. Plenty of storage room though... We ate in the restaurant one night due to not wanting to go out in a thunder storm. Restaurant is typically hotel - atmosphere a bit stark, but food good and service was friendly. Restaurant a bit short staffed though - so be prepared to have a long meal. The staff on the front desk are effecient and friendly, their english is excellent and the garden just outside was very pretty although be aware you can hear the railway as it is very close to the hotel. The location of this hotel is great, right next to the Central Train Station, Shuttle stop for the TGV, and the Rue de La Republique --- the main shopping drag of Avignon. A standard room is very spacious --- with a sitting room, nice bathroom, and two double beds. The beds/linens/pillows were fine, but not great. There is a nice little rooftop […] pool for lounging, and a nice lobby for coffee/drinks and free wifi access. Mehr

We were forced to book this hotel as we planned a stay in Avignon without realising the arts festival was on. This was literally the last room within walking distance of the old city. It was really overpriced and service was appalling. We had to wait till 3pm to gain access to our room, which seemed bad until a woman arriving after us was told she […] had to wait till 4pm. She seemed to have just arrived from a long journey and was furious. The staff didn't even apologise. When we did get access to the room, the wooden floors had not been dusted properly and there were discarded cigarette butts on the terrace. We booked a superior room with two double queen beds. The room was about the same size as a normal room, and the beds were iron pull out beds, with lumpy, hard mattresses and odd pillows. Our room looked out over a building site with the railway behind. Were it not for the fact that we wanted to have easy access to the old town we would have moved. We met someone who had encountered the same problem with lack of accommodation in Avignon and they chose to stay in Arles with a 15 min train ride away. I think that would be preferable or book at least 3 months in advance to assure a nice place in Avignon. Mehr

Just outside the town wall, this was a bit of a strange place. It was comfortable enough, and we booked a double room and got a full suite. Even though it was summer it seemed quite empty. And you had to walk up the main street to get to the Palais des Papes and other historical sites, and the main street was a bit dodgy in the evening. a very good hotel with large comfortable rooms, located within walking distance to main attractions in Avignon, and right next to the train station.

Le hall est magnifique mais pas notre chambre, qui était certes spacieuse mais plutôt vieillotte. J'ai demandé des mon arrivée si il y avait de quoi faire une infusion dans les chambres on m'a alors donné une bouilloire, arrivée dans la chambre il n'y avait rien, j'ai donc appelé la direction, on m'a amené un sachet de thé mais ni sucre ni tasse. La […] télé est dans la chambre coté salon, on ne peut pas la regarder du lit. On ne peut pas ouvrir les fenetres En revanche bonne literie. Si ça avait été un 3 étoiles je serais satisfaite mais pas d'un 4 étoiles ! Mehr

Hotel correcto que aparenta más de lo que ofrece. Sin restaurante Aparcamiento exterior carísimo (17 Euros) Precio un poco elevado para su calidad global

L'hôtel est bien situé, à proximité du centre. Quoique sur un boulevard, les chambre sont bien insonorisées. Elles sont très grandes (suite pour la mienne alors que je n'avais demandé qu'une chambre double). Ma chambre bénéficiait d'une baignoire ET d'une douche, ce qui était très agréable. Par contre, impossible de régler correctement la température […] de l'eau, et rien pour poser son savon ! Je n'ai pas pris le petit déjeuner à l'hôtel. Mehr

国鉄のアヴィニョン駅からすぐ近くにホテルがあり助かりました。また観光するにもメイン通りの入り口が近いので観光しやすいです。部屋も空いていたのか同じ料金でワンランク上の部屋を使わせていただきました。また、TGV行きのバス停もすぐ近くにあるので乗り換えしたい人にも便利です。店員さんもみんな笑顔で両替なども快くしてもらえました。 城壁の外にホテルはあるのですが道路をはさんですぐ市街地なのであまり気にならないと思います。 おすすめです。

Abord immédiat du centre ville. Toutes les visites des lieux touristiques de la ville peuvent être effectuées à pieds. Calme et sérénité sont les caractéristiques de cet hôtel. Personnel discret et efficace.

Bra läge, men hotellet behöver verkligen renoveras. Poolområdet var väldigt dåligt skött. Det fanns inga madrasser till solsängarna och både solsäng och plattor kring poolen var trasiga. Ingen servering vid poolen- ville man ha något skulle man ringa på en telefon. Man var tvungen att hämta sin poolhandduk i receptionen och kvittera ut den med sin  […] namnteckning. Mehr

Dette er et hotell som kunne trenge en oppgradering, men rommet var stort og godt. Savnet bedre parkeringsmuligheter enn parkometer i offentlig parkeringshus. Meget god beliggenhet i forhold til det gamle sentrum.

Aucun charme. Confortable mais c'est la moindre des choses pour un 4 étoiles. Petit déjeuner médiocre. Piscine petite, dont les abords ne sont pas mis en valeur (pas un brin d'ombre ou un parasol...) Ne vaut pas ses étoiles!

Habitaciones muy grandes. Servicio amable. Muy limpio. Está fuera del recinto amurallado, pero en una de las puertas. Se tarda 10 minutos andando al centro. Es muy recomendable si se van a visitar otras ciudades cercanas ya que está a 2 minutos del tren, que funciona muy bien para ir a Arles (sólo 20 minutos), Orange, Nimes o incluso Marsella.
