Truly excellent "bang for your buck". Especially if you're on a budget with your family or a group of friends. The hotel is slightly run down, but nothing terrible or unsightly. Suites are large, plenty of room for a group/family. Kitchen can help you save some money too. Breakfast is ehhh, but it's free. Free beer/wine each evening for the adults. Lots of kids running around here (we were here on business). Beds in the rooms are worn out and there is only one elevator (it's a large hotel).

If this hotel had recent renovations they need their money back. Breakfast wasy awful. Never even had the room cleaned and fresh towels one of the days. For all the hotels around, I would skip this one.

We stayed for 2 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. Our room was not cleaned during our visit. When I contacted the staff upon returning to our room to find out what happened I was informed that due to the holiday, the cleaning crews left at noon so no rooms (except for ones switching over) would be cleaned. This was not mentioned to us when we made the reservation via Hotels.com nor when we checked in. We then asked for clean towels and shampoo to be sent up and it never arrived.

Very satisfied with this hotel. Great location and great price!! Very comfortable and nice staff.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was close to everything. The breakfast was okay. Not bad for the price that I paid for the room.

First- there was a strong baby powder smell all over the place. We had to ask for blankets for the sofa bed- waited 20 min still not there. Had to go to the lobby and the hostest forgot. As well as the breakfast- which is the reason we chose to stay there was very disappointed. They didn't have any of the items to eat that they post on their site. Will not stay there again. We were in Orlando in Sept and stayed at the Springhill Mar which we will stay on our next visit.

I'm all about reviews, which for me can make a difference if I pick a place or not. I got a great deal on hotels.com, so for the price I got, I was expecting it to be eh. I got there, and the room I booked was sold out. So without even saying anything, I was upgraded to a different room. The front desk had a wealth of information. I drove to Universal (less than 5 min drive). But they have transportation and it must be reserved. They advertise a hot breakfast. That day eggs, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, toast, coffee. Not bad. At night they have a free wine, beer, and snacks. Pool is heated. Lots of places to eat walking distance. I had no complaints about the room. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked clean. Overall, I would recommend this place.

This was on sale on Hotels.com . I was suprised on arrival at how nice the room was and how organized the hotel was. Will stay again, even if not on sale!

This hotel is a great deal for the money. Nice hotel staff, clean large rooms, comfortable beds, great little kitchenette. What more can I say, just a good value. I have stay here twice, and it is still the only hotel for me in Orlando.

The room was spacious. It had a 2 queen beds and separate living room with a sofa bed. The bathroom was accessible from both the bedroom and the living room which gave extra privacy for those in bedroom. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We even received a phonecall to make sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was provided each morning....but it wasn't anything to brag about. But for the price of the room, who can complain? We would stay again next time we are in the area.

The first time we stayed at this hotel we were extremely satisfied with the accommodation - A month later we went back and realized it was not a coincidence. Staff is very pleasant and happy to please the guests - Breakfast is incredible and the staff in charge stays busy taking care of everyone with a pleasant smile in their face - We'll be back!

The hotel is clean, the location is very central to all of the parks and entertainment, The staff was well trained and helpful. The breakfast was nothing special but ok. I was really very happy with my overall experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it over many hotels much more expensive.

I was very satisfied with the service, general appearance of the Hotel, comfort of the room (especially the comfortable pillows) and excellent price which included a free breakfast which I did not expect. that was actually a bonus for me. Great Job!!!! Keep up the good work.

We only stayed here one night as we were on a fly drive holiday and this was our first stop when we got off the plane. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was ideal.

The hotel had an excellent location, very neat and the employees were very polite. I will recommend this hotel if you want to get your monies worth....

It was more seniors staying there. Overall the people was very nice and friendly.

Room use out dated but over all was a fantastic value for the $$. Free happy hour and free breakfast sure doesn't hurt either.

GREAT LOCATION I WAS WITHIN MINUTES OF UNIVERSAL, WETNWILD, SEAWORLD AND AQUATICA; PLACES I VISITED. THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. THE BREAKFAST ENDS AT 930AM, TOO EARLY. OTHER THAN THAT, THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND AFFORDABLE. OVERALL, I RATE IT 3.5 OVER 5

Hotel staff were very accommodating. Booked a executive suite and found on arrival no fridge; they changed our room to a suite with a fridge. Main areas (lifts, hallway on 6th flr) could do with a makeover though; but still a very nice hotel. Great location for International Drive/shops/restaurants and buses to amusement locations.

its was very nice classy n very clean awsome welcome too. we are palnning a nother vacation soon adn will be going back.also right on international drive close to everything.

The hotel was overbooked so they upgraded us to king suite for same price. The decor outdated a bit, but comfotable. Have nice breakfast and complimentary happy hour every day for two hours for beer and wine, which was very nice. The location is hard to walk to International drive is about a 10-15 walk because you have to walk around buldings and cannot cut thru, so if the weather is bad - you have a face all the terrible traffice.

Excellent hotel. clean rooms.. spacious rooms.. happy hour and breakfast included in price. cant beat it...

Check in took too long, nobody wanted to help. The room was too small, and had a strange odor to it, but it was clean!. Might be able to do better with some extra effort as there are MANY hotels and motels to choose from in this area.

The food was okay, but not as good as some other places that have breakfast. The front desk people were curt with us when we checked in (3 adults and 1 older teen). I saw them being rude to teens with headphones on, acting like they were trouble, when I saw no one even acting rude toward the people at the desk. The bathroom in our room had some small things that needed repairs. When I todl them, they acted like it was trivial. Each was small, but 3 things wrong in one bathroom wasn't good.

A hotel is mostly a reflection of the people that work there. From the first moment we checked in we were greeted by one of the best front desk personS we've encounter in years... Ms. Frannie represents what "customer service" is all about: she gave us excellent instructions about all the amenities the hotel had in a very pleasant matter. Our room was excellent... clean, well furnished, comfortable, and in general more than what we expected. The free breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious... the dining area was very clean and the attendants were busy and very helpful. Our two-day stay was memorable and will definitely come back many more times thanks to the excellent people taking care of the hotel and the guests needs - THANKS!

The hotel and our room was clean. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. This was our second stay at this hotel.

We had a very good rate for a double queen room. When I checked in the manager gave me a free upgrade!!!Never got that before, was a very unexpected surprise.

The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having a refrigerator to keep our water and soft drinks cold. The breafast in the morning was good and changed each morning.

I chose this hotel because of a review I read and I am glad I did. The hotel is older but kept very well. It was extremly clean and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was nice, it could have been better if there was more fresh fruit but otherwise there was a good selection. The location was fantastic. There was a lot to do and many restruants just a few blocks away. If you are looking for a great value this is it. The price was reasonable and we got more room for our money than we could have somewhere else.

The hotel was nice, older but nice. The guest, children, pretty much had a free for all in the hotel. The pool was unsupervised and kids were throwing food and spilling drinks in the pool. Someone pulled the fire alarm at 1am and there was no staff around to assure the guests it was someone fooling around. They did not know how to get on the internet. It was a nice room for the price but next time we will pay more to get away from type of people who stayed at this hotel.

Overall the hotel is okay for the price. The main problem is the customer service at the hotel. Myself and two other guests waited for 10 minutes to have someone show up at the front desk for us to check in. The girls were polite, but the guy who service guests at night during my stay was very rude!

The bed is terrible. I complained the bed has no spring in the morning, and they said if I would leave there was nothing they can do. Even they didn't say sorry for it.

At first, the room I thought I had requested was not the right one, but it clarified and corrected. The hotel is was great for the money. Just be careful in booking your suite.

Nice place to stay and close to all Disney/Universal parks. Good breakfast every morning. Only problem it has a small pool for the amount guest who stay there. Over all, a good place to stay.

My family and I stayed over the weekend and I can say that it is well worth it. A main pipe burst which caused the water to be shut down and the staff there was more than exceptional in accomodating its guest. We ended up staying at the Hawthorne (lake Buena Vista) Both hotels I would recommend to anyone. Again I cant do anything but praise how exceptional the staff was. It was nice and cozy and was well suited for the three of us. Both locations were accessible to everything. Hawthorne (Universal) needs a little upgrading but perfect for a place to sleep and eat. has a 2 eye stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and full refrigerator. We ate out only once the 4 days we stayed.
