Zimmer sehr groß,große Betten, Riesen-TV und voll eingerichteter Küche, Bad in Ordnung, sauber. Insgesamt etwas abgenutzter Zustand aber sauber. Personal sehr freundlich. Die Lage direkt am Oceansdrive ist genial. bars, Restaurants, Geschäfte und der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Leider waren wir während "Spring Break" in Miami, und alles war unglaublich voll und leider sehr laut, besonders abends. Sonst wäre unser Aufenthalt perfekt gewesen, das Hotel war nämlich prima!

Das Hotel ist direkt am Ocean Drive zwischen den Art Deco Hotels. Zum Strand ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Allerdings darf man sich abends / nachts nicht am Lärm der Strasse stören. Das gehört hier eben dazu. Das Hotel nimmt vorort nochmals 25$ pro Zimmer und Nacht für Badetücher, Äpfel im Foyer und morgendlichen Kaffee zum Zapfen mit einfachem Keks. […] Ist eigentlich ein bißchen ärgerlich aber bei der Lage vielleicht üblich. Achtung: auch in den Cafes und Restaurants hier hat man schnell mal von einer hübchen, netten Bedienung etwas nebenbei empfohlen bekommen, was nacher richtig teuer war. Ist hier ein bißchen Touristenfang aber trotzdem eine intererssante Stimmung. Parken geht hier nur per Valet Parking, kostet auch nochmal 25 $ pro Tag. Mehr

Die Lage direkt am Ocean Drive ist sehr gut. Die Zimmergröße ist eher für Familien zu empfehlen. Zu zweit viel zu groß. Es gibt am Morgen frischen Kaffee und Cookies, welche auch immer lecker waren. Aber der absolute Kritikpunkt sind die viel zu hohen Kautionen für die Zimmer!

This Hotel is very expensive and bear in mind that you have to pay $25/day as Resort Fee and $25/day for Parking in addition to what you pay as hotel charges...Also bear in mind that you to pay $50/Day/Person if you are more than 2 persons staying in the Hotels.. This overall makes it very expensive....only plus point is the location which is right […] amidst all the happenings in South Beach... You only get a blocked view of the Ocean even when you pay for an oceanview Room... You can look for less expensive hotels in the same area Mehr

We really enjoyed our stay on Casa Grande Beach Suite Hotel & Spa - the spa is not existing anymore. Small, nice hotel, with a very personal, but still highly professionel staff - escpecially the receptionists are always very helpful. The fantastic beach is just across Ocean Drive and also shopping possibilities are close. The room was spacy, clean […] and nice. One of the reasons that we chose this hotel, was for the kitchen, which, however, had very limited tableware, so the dishwasher was really not necessary with only 2 spoons, 2 forks, 1 small plate, 3 big ones, 2 champagne glasses, 1 normal drinking glass, etc. No big deal of course with the numerous restaurants on Ocean Drive, Lincoln Rd. etc. We would like to go back. You pay for the location. Everything's within walking distance including beach and restaurants. We didn't use our car once. Hotel is a little old, and all rooms allow smoking so there's a little stench. But they were big and clean. Maid service everyday. If you have motion sickness this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is in a great location and the suite we had is very spacious. The suite has a full kitchen but only stocked with 1 tiny saucepan and 1 tiny pot ( 4 inches diameter)! No salt, pepper or sugar supplied. BEWARE - there is a resort fees of $25 plus tax per day when we checked in. I have no idea how a resort is defined but to me this is a hotel! […] $25 a day for unlimited coffee, oranges and cookies placed in the lobby ! I think this is a rip off. When reserving room, I called to make reservations. I needed a suite, and looked at the pics on the website. once I got to hotel and checked in, the room was not a suite, but two beds( which I requested), but not the separate room. The location is terrific, the services and amenities very good. But the hotel is situated in the midst of an almost-24-hour party on Ocean Ave. Do not expect to sleep much in ocean-view suite.

This hotel was convenient to South Beach. However, it was old and dated. Our view was the back of an alley. The bathroom was blue 4" tiles from the floor and walls. I didn't take a bath the tub looked dirty. No counter space in bathroom..

Casa Grande provides condo style accomodations for the traveler who wants a little more from South Beach. I book this property because each suite has a full kitchen, living room, dining table, bedroom and bathroom. You could easily spend a weekend or a month at the Casa Grande in South Beach and feel the comforts of ample space rather than just a small […] hotel room. Be prepared, because the parking situation on Ocean Drive and South Beach as a whole is challenging. Parking garages are $20 per day and hourly meter parking is $1.25. Mehr

The MAJOR problem I had was that it took 3 hours to get into our room when we had reservations. There is no reason to wait that long for a room that should have been reserved. This place is close to the party scene on Miami Beach. I stayed with three other girls and found it clean and comfortable. Being across the street from the beach was great. There are places to eat and drink everywhere you turn and many of the clubs and night spots are walking distance. The service kinda sucked. We had to call the front desk to get […] room service and even when reported the cleaning lady came around sooo late. Also there is a $25 per night fee I was unaware of which covers morning coffee, cookies and oranges. If youre not the first one down there the cookies are always gone. We also booked a room with 2 king size beds with a sofa bed also available. Instead we received a room with 2 queen beds and no sofa bed. We were comfortable but definitely not what we expected. Disappointing!! Location good, reception and staff fine. Room not what was promised, no sea view provided, inadequate rooms/ beds, not made up properly, insuffient towels, decor poor (must have been blind whoever painted it), carpets dirty/stained, furnishing sparse (like we were going to knick whatever wasn't strapped down). Get the impression the […] hotel put us in any room left free, not the one we'd booked, expecations fell well short. it is not a hotel but a apartment complex with 1 bed room apartments. Everything was good except the carpet which was very dirty.Only stayed there as it is in front of the south beach .

Hotel with only one front disk.. No towels... You only hear ( I am here by myself) so!!!! Why r u here by your self?!?! Understaffed!! And 25 a night resort fee... Who called this garbage cane resort !!

Our hotel room was in a great location, right in the middle of all the actions. Lots of restaurants to choose from & close to the beach & shopping. Our suite had a full kitchen & lots of space for our family. The only complaint we have is that our room could have been a bit cleaner, especially the floors. Overall the experience at this hotel was good. The first day we had issues with poor customer service from both the day and evening staff but the second day, everybody was great! The rooms were nice and spacious. Although we were right on the strip, noise wasn't a problem. Besides the poor customer service that improved, I had a great time! Woww....A kitchen? they had ONE 6" frying pan for cooking. No wonder the kitchen was so clean... the beds were grossly uncomfortable, the bedding, OLD, dingy, the pillows smelled. Would never stay there again!!! If location is your only concern, go for it, but it didnt cut if for us.

I piad so much money for deposite . Everything was perpect but that made me little mad.. (2day 3night ,2 person $600 deposite)

I had a very pleasant stay. It has a perfect location with very friendly staff.

Our suite was much bigger than exspected, very clean and comfortable. Disadvantages are only the lack of a hair dryer and the bed, which wood makes noises if someone moves. The location was inbetween of several nice restaurants and very close to the beach. There are no free parking areas, our car was driven to a garage and provided back on request for […] a daily fee of 25 $, additionally to the total online booking costs of hotel.com they charged at check in a resort fee of 25$+Tax per day (for coffee, tea, aples and towles?!), which appears in the information text after we submit our online booking. In deed the suite is much more expensive if you don´t book via hotels.com, but I don´t think that this is a good explanation for hidden extra costs! and if we booked online we compare hotels by price and this hotel really takes part on the competition on an unfair way!!! Besides this incomfort with the additional fee, the front desk stuff seemed confused and unorganised, and forgot several times what he wanted to do. Mehr

This is definitely the best hotel you can get for your money, in the heart of all the nightlife and the hotel staff always have a good attitude and very courteous.. I stayed at every hotel from 5th-15th in the past 5 years and the Casa is my number 1 pick.. Get room 202, balcony overlooks the strip.. Thanks Ronnie

This hotel needs to move with the times and spend money to upgrade all the rooms. Very old and worn furniture only one cup in the kitchen and few cooking items that looked grubby. The first day we went to the our room only to find the furniture all stacked in a pile in the centre of the room and two men painting the walls. The reception said there were […] no more sea front rooms left and gave us a back two bedroomed suit. When you pay for two sea front rooms that's what you should get? Would not recommend this hotel and read all the small print they get you to sign when you check in at the desk. You will get a nasty surprise. Mehr

The location was great but I didn't like that the hotel was not up to my standards when it comes to clean. It was great space for entertaining but the bathroom and the bedroom was to small and wasn't very clean

The suite was very surprising because of its size and cleanliness. The bedroom was very comfortable and the A/C worked very well and helped drown out any outside noise. Unfortunately, there is a loud echo in the suite and some doors creaked. There was no hair dryer in the room and no coffee to make in the coffee maker. But, the kitchen was really clean […] and well maintained. The multiple windows were nice, but the shades could have been much better. The $25 + tax resort fee is a rip off, though. It provides for cookies, coffee and apples in the lobby. Mehr

the staff was rude and seemed bothered by my requests. We didn't have enough towels for one night. There were ridiculous charges for unnecessary items. I would never stay at Casa Grande Beach Suite Hotel again.

We got the room at a very good rate. The room was absolutely massive and very comfortable. However, it could do with a better clean. There were a few cobwebs and dust devils floating around. Still, nothing major. The hotel is perfect for the area. It's right beside a number of restaurants and the beach is across the street. Be prepared to search for […] somewhere to park your car if you are driving and are unwilling to pay the valet parking charges. Typically you'll pay $15 a day to park the car yourself in some car park down a side street or $25 a day for the valet parking. The hotel staff were very pleasant but poor Ronnie, the concierge, needs to relax! He was a lovely guy but seemed to get stressed very easily! Finally, the resort tax is ridiculous. It's suppose to pay for towels, wifi, refreshments etc but we only got small bathroom towels when we went to the beach, the refreshments were non-existent and the wifi coverage was poor. Still, for the total price we paid, I feel the overall cost was good value. Mehr

I am not one to complain about most things but I must say, this hotel I would NOT recommend to anyone. Here's why: 1) It is in a good location IF your room is at the back of the hotel. Our room overlooked the ocean / street (yes, great view) BUT it was SO NOISY due to the crowds partying on the street that we weren't able to fall asleep until 5am. […] Then at 6am, they turned on machinery and decided to trim some hedges. Seriously?!?!? 2) Key card did not work. EACH AND EVERY TIME we came and went, we had to stop at the front desk. They claim if the card came in close contact with a credit card, it erased the key card's memory. NEVER has this happened at any other hotel I stayed at. Bottom line, the key card equipment on guest rooms needs to be replaced!!! 3) Front desk staff - I am unclear if they know what customer service really is. They called after I departed to say they were going to charge me $125 for missing my spa appointment. Note I did NOT make a spa appointment. When I asked when the appointment was, they said it was for 1pm the same day I checked out....I checked out at 11am. Nice try racking up extra charges on my credit card, Casa Grande! 4) BEWARE OF THE EXTRA $25 PER ROOM PER DAY "RESORT FEE." This fee covers 1) fresh apples in the hotel lobby (if there are any left) 2) cookies daily in the morning (again, if any are left) 3) towels for the beach. I specifally called the hotel BEFORE I made this reservation to confirm no extra fee for towels and even spoke to someone about it. Lo and behold, a lovely sign at the front desk about the fee. I must admit I had reservations about getting a hotel on Ocean Drive for the rate I got. The location of the hotel is prefect for anyone wanting to be in the heart of Sobe. The room was clean, large and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I could say about the room is the walls could use a coat of paint. I had never stayed at a boutique hotel before but definitely will again. The entrance may be hard to find but it's smack dab in the middle of everything. The hotel is small and simple but very pretty and the room was huge for the price! Actual tile floors made for a nice touch. The decor was simple but great. It was a home away from home. Walking out […] of the hotel really made you feel like you were in Miami. The only negative that I have to state is that the bedding was in some serious need of replacing. I do not like the location of the hotel, it is very noisy, the room had some details in maintenance. In another hand the time to wait the car is very long, it is aprox 40 minutes.

This hotel is a condo with privately owned suites that are entered into a rental pool so the most important information I can give you is that the rooms are definitely not as advertised. They are sparsely furnished, with banged up walls and filthy dirty windows. Yes the location is on the strip of Ocean Drive but what a disappointment. I was so excited […] to stay here and was extremely upset with our room. We went to look at another room which was very similar but overlooked the garbage in the back alley. Not an improvement!!! There are a lot of options in this area so do your homework. There was a lot of bar noise at night but it did stop at midnight. Foyer and elevators are clean. Beach is right across the street. Mehr

The stay was fantabulous. I loved it. It couldn't have been better and at the price, it was unbelievable. Service was great, room was very nice, location was perfect. I loved it and would return again. Just be aware of the 3PM Check in Time or else you'll be stuck for hours if you get there earlier and can't check into your room (I arrived at 10 AM!!). […] Well worth the price and am looking forward to my next stay. Perfect location for us as we wanted to be in the area of south beach. Was also walking distance to the shopping district along Lincoln Road. Not great service but was good enough as we didn't spend much time there anyway. Room was great though as it was a suite and didn't think is was going to be as big as it was. Clean, spacious and close to everything. Nice kitchen. The extra $25 resort fee is a bit steep though, considering the coffee is undrinkable, the beach towels are flimsy bath towels and no oranges while I was there, they had decent apples - but not the freshly squeezed daily o.j. I was expecting. The room was quiet, except for one night when the hotel's […] plumbing started to make a great deal of noise in the middle of the night. I thought the high pitched whistling sound may have been a fire alarm, so I got up to investigate - it was coming from the toilet, I flushed it and the noise stopped. Weird! Also bring your (rhinestone - studded) turtle-necks to Miami. Outside it's boiling, indoors everywhere the air conditioning is on so high, that it's absolutely freezing. I could not believe how cold they kept all the indoor spaces there, I thought that I would be escaping the cold when I jumped on a plane to head south! Mehr

In the middle of it all. Everything was close by including bike rentals and great restaurants. The beach in walking distance. Room was perfect.

Nice location, a little noisy. I will not stay here again. The room was not ready at 3pm, and we were absolutely exhausted, had to wait until 6 pm before the room was ready. No coffee in room, toilet ran constantly and we had to turn off the water to it every time. Not sure what the 'resort fee' was for!!! there were no extra perks besides a coffee […] pot and some bruised apples in a basket. Oh I got a cookie on the way out, big deal. Hey there. I had a blast at Casa Grande. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of the row of resaurants on Ocean Drive. The rooms are tucked in the back so the noise, which wasn't bad, is not right on ya. The room was cool with a kitchen. I loved being able to walk right out, across the street and see the work out area, the walking track and the ocean. […] Activity central! Parked my bike right there one day. There are nice place to eat walking distance. I am not a spring breaker, I was there during a pretty busy time, and had no problem. There are so many places off of Ocean to enjoy. I love staying super close to the beach. You can't get closer on Ocean. The lady at the front desk was nice. I got a massage on the 5th floor, I had a room on the5th! Love that! Dianne is a Jamacian lady who KNOWS how to give a professional massage. I knew about the resort fee and the valet fee....they all have them...so I wasn't surprised. There is a nice restaurant attached that looked very nice. The News Cafe was awesome every morning. Just a few stores down. I would stay here again. The t.v. didn't swivel so it was hard to see from the couch. They had a nice safe in the room. Mehr
