Das Hotel war sauber, das Frühstücksbuffet typisch amerikanisch aber vollkommen in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war ruhig und der Shuttledienst funktionierte gut. Die Umgebung ist halt Flughafennähe. Wer hier etwas schönes erwartet hat falsche Vorstellungen.

Das Hotel liegt nah amFlughafen-Shuttle des JFK, womit die Subway zur Innenstadt auch sehr gut zu erreichen war. Für Tagesausflüge in die City sehr gut geeignet, da es ruhig war, aber für Nachttouren eher ungeeignet, da man es nachts weniger gut erreichen kann, da der Flughafen-Shuttle nicht mehr so häufig fährt. Das Hotel liegt in Flughafennähe und ist über den freien Hotelschuttle und die Linie Q10 kostengünstig ($2.20) mit der Innenstadt verbunden. Das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse wirklich gut. Service und Sauberkeit sind ebenso positiv zu bewerten. Insgesamt ein Hotel mit einem wirklich guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

We stayed in one room with king bed. But the room is small for 2 people. The bed is a king (very spacious) but occupies most of the space in the room. If you are staying overnight and catching a plane first thing in the morning, and are not looking for anything fancy, it will do the job. Breakfast is on the second floor, the dining room is small and the table are limited and close to each other. There was not much to choose out of the breakfast menu. At night, the toilet was very noisy. we had to turn off the water, to get some sleep, and again, turn it back on whenever we had to use it, which was a drag. Everyone in the hotel was very nice, from the time of booking until the very last minute when they allowed us a late check out at 1:00 without fee (instead of the usual noon checkout). Mehr

The nearest restaurant a cab ride away toa mall (Green Acres)--add a cab ride of $18.00, or stay in your tiny room and order a meal (very poor option)

Easy access to the airport -- shuttle runs every hour on the half. Comfortable and accommodating.

Overall stay was good. We only stayed 1 night. Service was good and friendly. Rooms were clean but tad smaller than normal. Very good breakfast. I would stay there again.

It has everything you need for a quick overnight stay - hot breakfast, shuttle from rental car return and terminals (tho' not often, be sure to check timing) and staff willing to get food delivered from local eateries if you wish.

This is the kind of facility one stays at only if they have an early morning flight and need a place close to JFK. There was nothing remarkable about it, but the staff was very nice, and they do have a free breakfast buffet.

The staff was friendly- parking was close. Good overall stay for location- transportation to airport was prompt and drivers friendly. When we arrived It was just me and my 2 kids- I thought one of the two men working behind the counter would have asked if we wanted help with our luggage. They just pointed to a cart outside the hotel. When we got our […] luggage I thought one of them would have opened the door for us but niether of them got up to atleast hold the door for my 14 year old daughter or myself. I thought that was a bit "motel" like for the price we paid for the hotel room. Breakfast was ok. Plenty of fruit, juice, milk and coffee. There was pre-made eggs-but it was ok to get you to your flight with a full belly. There was plenty of boxed cereal which the kids liked. would have been nice to have fresh eggs, not pre-made pancake like eggs that really tasted like cardboard. Its convenience to the airport was a good plus. The beds were quite comfortable and we did have a good night sleep, but customer service could really be approved on, especially when we arrived with our luggage- I found that it was quite rude not to atleast open the door for us when we got the door with our luggage, especially with just me and my kids. The motel is perfectly ok, EXCEPT that it advertises a 24-hour airport shuttle, which is the only reason to stay there. And there is no shuttle--just a once an hour bus to the airport, which is of little use when you have a 6 am flight and the whole reason you're paying for a hotel is to get as much rest as possible. I was bumped from a flight at 9 […] pm and needed somewhere to spend the night. But when I woke up for a 5 am shuttle (that I'd been told about at check-in), I went down to the front desk & had to wake the night clerk. who said I'd just missed the "shuttle." It leaves once an hour on the half hour, even in the middle of the night. No matter that it's only a 3 minute drive to the airport, or that 3 empty vans were sitting right outside the door. The night clerk called me a $15 cab, and I wondered how much of a kickback the hotel gets for that "service." Mehr

All I can say is that the hotel was beautiful. The room as clean, as was the hotel overall.

Quick over night before a 6:30am flight. .. Very basic but ok for price .. Shuttle only runs on hour so you are forced to leave early to get your flight even though very close to airport

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel because we had an early flight out of JFK. This is a basic hotel and well worth the price. The only negative part is there is only one access to the hotel and that's through the front entrance but you have to park your car in the rear. Clean but compact. No restaurants in area but shuttle to nearby casino complex with restaurants and bars. Good value for proximity to the airport (10 mins in shuttle).

Good hotel if you are staying the night to get a trip for JFK. Free shuttles are once an hour on the 30s and will drop you off at the terminal. Free breakfast is a nice plus with a friendly staff.

The receptionist in charge did not answer the phone because she was on a personal call the night I checked in. In fact when I did arrive, she didn't bother to stop either. She eventually told her friend to "hang on a minute" and placed the receiver on the desk while she "helped me". The rooms may be updated per their website, but they are NOT sound […] proofed. The food she assured me was great and easily deliverable was absolutely awful Air Port pizza is toxic, but the beer is safe and cold. To sum it up: The room wasn't very clean, the long black hair wound around two of the towels was the clincher. I didn't need the wake up call I asked for, the shuttle woke me at 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 etc. Floors weren't clean in the bedroom or bathroom. Neither the coffee maker nor the hairdryer worked. The provided breakfast... Was not worth the tummy trouble. But the morning staff was more pleasant and the shuttle was helpful. If you land at JFK the night before, grab a bite at the airport rather trying the delivery options. I wouldn't necessarily stay here again unless I remembered the lessons I learned, and if you are even marginally discerning, I recommend you skip it too. Mehr

Great location to JFK airport and after coming off a long flight at night it was great to be a few minutes away from a comfortable bed. The staff very friendly and welcoming and room a good size and very clean. Free Wifi and breakfast and enjoyed my stay.

Staff were unknowledgable of surrounding area, one member directed me to a gas station that no longer operated then told me wrong directions again to the burger king. At night time the staff member on reception was much more friendly and helpful!

this was a night in a hotel near a major airport. I've been in better. this was a bargain for a night in NYC. otherwise, this hotel is nothing to write home about

A good hotel, comfortable,very clean, helpful staff iwill use again. If you use park and ride next door you can be picked up by park and ride at airport and not have to go through the hassel with luggage of getting to federal square pickup. I am told all hotels must pick you up at federal square. Since we came in at one AM we missed breakfast whick […] ended too early at 9 AM. Other than the one bug that greeted me in the bathroom the first night, the room was clean and comfortable. I thouroughly enjoyed the tour guides the hotel chose for the New York City tour...reasonably priced for a full day of sightseeing. and I appreciated the local deliveries as the food was pretty good. I booked for my friends. Good for one night stay for early flights, free shuttle service is a convenience, friendly front desk people. Very close to JFK airport, but far from Manhattan, city downtown. Overall better than average, if you don't expect much.

Very convenient to JFK. Free shuttle to airport was on time. Room was very small. I stayed here twice & the room on the second floor was much nice than the room on the 3rd floor, in terms of cleaniness & newer bedding & maintenance.

NO PLACE TO EAT AROUND THE HOTEL

While checking in, a guest came in with some bruises on his hand and he reported that someone attempted to rob him at knife point while he was walking back from the nearby Burger King! While we saw a patrol car driving several times around the premises, the general appearance of the neighbourhood while we drove to the hotel and the above incidence lead […] us to decide to stay put and order take out for our dinner. The drive from the hotel to JFK the next morning was easy enough, just over 5 minutes. Stay here if you have a morning flight out of JFK but not as a base for New York visit. Mehr

Very nice, convenient location, complimentary breakfast, very good room with comfy beds, very good shower. No complaints whatsoever.

The hotel was tidy and well maintained. So was the room assigned to me, compact and clean. Front desk was very helpful. Food from a nearby restaurant was promtly delivered. Rides from the hotel to the airport were prompt and on schedule. Our room was very acceptable for a 1 night lay over. My only complaint was when the drapes were closed it blocked the AC and room was then too warm. However, the front desk attendant was very accomodating and the food in the morning was very sufficient and fresh.

In comparison to downtown prices this was much less expensive, but also much less inn terms of quality. Check in was relatively quick due to hotels.com reservation and it was good to see actual king sized beds. However, they were also accompanied by mouse sized pillows. The room was a bit musky and the carpets were dirty but it was a room and a bed […] for the night. Breakfast selection was not great, but it was included in the price. If you want to take a taxi into downtown NYC don't rely on the hotels recommendation of flat rate cabs. Instead go to the airport and take the yellow cabs for much less flat rate, or better still, the subway for a couple of bucks. The cabs also make you pay the toll roads... Including for their return journey, in addition to the flat rate fee. The shuttle bus to and from the airport is shared with other hotels and leaves just once per hour. The hotel is located on the same lot as a garbage truck depot, and the procession of garbage trucks left at about 6:30am, however, they were not too audible from inside if you have the AC running. In summary, not too clean, small rooms and small pillows with big beds for reasonable prices if all you need is somewhere to sleep for a night. Not a vacation hotel but convenient for an overnight layover. 3/5 is as generous a score as I can give. Mehr

This hotel is extremely convenient to the airport. The only downside is that there is no local food. However, the staff is helpful at getting you takeout food delivered, which is fast, inexpensive, and good. The internet connectivity in the room is a little weak but works pretty well. The free breakfast is splendid - far better than the average. The […] whole hotel has been redone recently and is very clean and comfortable. It can get a little noisy so light sleepers would probably be uncomfortable. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again. Mehr
