Microwave broken, phone did not work, knob on jacuzzi broken, outdated TV. Nice banquet facility but not much of a hotel.

I stayed for two nights and they never cleaned the room. I had to go to the front desk to get towels and such.

Traveling with my son for hockey event. Room was clean, beds comfortable, decent hot breakfast (waffles, sausage & eggs, plus basic continental). Offers nice amenities - in-room whirlpool bath, free wi-fi, etc., but inconsistent function. I informed staff at checkout that the things we had trouble with were identical to reports we saw on Hotels.com […] before we booked and suggested that they really should address them. I saw the reports and thought they were isolated incidents, but obviously not: missing light bulbs; only 2 towels in the room; weak wi-fi (about 10 options appear, but weak signal); poor TV reception on a truly ancient TV. Unlike others, our whirlpool had a very good heater - too hot to stay in very long. I reported the bulb the first night, but they didn't replace it. When they cleaned the room, they removed the 2 towels but didn't leave clean ones. I had to go in search of housekeeping, then felt like I had to twist her arm to get 3 towels (but no hand towel & only one wash cloth). Too bad little things leave a mixed impression of an otherwise very nice, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel. The first room we were in was cold at 10.00.p.m. upon arrival and the heater did not work. We were quickly transferred to an alternative room which was ok ,however the phone did not work and we did not discover this until 4 a m. when we wanted to call the front desk to inform them that the occupants in the room next door were loud and cursing and argumentative.the […] loudness continued for over an hour after which I got dressed and went down to the reception to inform them ot the raucus.. The wifi wasn't working the first night of a 2 night stay, the staff were apologetic and it was fixed during the next day. The included breakfast choices were quite good. Decent selection of restaurants close by.

It took over a half an hour just to check us in. The charged my card for the rooms again and I had to wait 3 to 5 days for it to be credited back. The first room they gave us was a nightmare. The air conditioner was in pieces on the floor and the toliet didn't work.

Hallways were dimly lit. Shower head was of poor quality. Window curtains left areas uncovered. Window left open by staff and hidden by curtains. Parking difficult due to outside booking - wedding. Lack of towels.

Room was nice, service was excellent. However, water for jacuzzi in room was not hot enough and was told that was due to people leaving kids alone in room. Other han that, was very pleased.

stay was good .the only problem was there was a lack of towels.there were four person in the room with only two towels, when requested additional towels two more were given,but after swim in the pool the towels were wet and there were no more towels when requested.

The humidity level in our ground floor room was way too high and uncomfortable. They knew that we were 4 people in our room, yet we only had two towels. When we went to the desk to get more towels, we got a couple hand towels only! No fruit or yogurt at the breakfast bar. The eggs were powdered. This place need some work! Staff was friendly. Pool looked popular with a number of families having a good time. Breakfast was powdered eggs & sausage (tasteless) but opened right on time at 6:00 am. There was also a waffle machine, tho I didn't use it.

The entire third floor reeked of cigar smoke. The bedding in my room had cigarette burns in it. The hotel room was reserved for two nights. Evidently there was an error in the hotel's system, causing them to only reserve it for one. As a result, after the check-out time had expired, the staff entered my room, to find my belongings there, and subsequently […] left, propping the door open, leaving my belongings vulnerable to theft. I noticed this when I returned to my room to retrieve an item, before work. I closed the door, and put the Do Not Disturb sign on it. When I came back that night, I'd been locked out. I went to the front desk where they issued me an apology and new key cards. They tried to offer me a jacuzzi room for my troubles. While the apology was sincere, and the offer nice, I don't care about jacuzzis. I care about staying in a clean bed, in a hotel I trust to be competent. I wasn't going to find that at the Concorde Inn, no matter which room they gave me. Mehr

Unfortunately we did not end up with the room I thought I'd booked, that I was looking at onsite. We had 3 children so only having 2 beds wasn't enough room. But hotel and breakfast overall were good, we will stay there again when in the area.

Rate was quite a bit less than the other hotels I was considering, so I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. Room was very clean as well as the pool. All staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative I can say, which really isn't that bad, is that the decor is slightly dated. I would stay there again if I'm ever back in the area.

Its an ok hotel, nothing amazing. Staff seemed nice room was ok. The jacuzzi was ok. You could hear the room above us pretty well, but it didn't keep us up or anything.

We enjoyed our stay, there was little to no hotel staff... And when you do find them they are on their cell phones or even the hotel phone talking to their friends or family. We would stay there again, it was clean and we felt safe.

My husband and i stayed here for valentines day and we were so happy with our stay that we made it a 2 night thing! we stayed in one of the hotels whirlpool rooms and it was absolutely amazing. the staff was nothing but kind and helpful with all of our questions. breakfast was delicious and the pool was very big and very clean! Very nice hotel, was told it was going to be a smoking room when we arrived found out it was smoke free hotel they were very accomidating and switched us at no charge to a room on the main floor with sliding patio door to smoke outside on our own patio. Everything was very clean, the jacuzzi tub was nice and big, room set up was very roomy, didn't feel […] cluttered in small space like some hotels. The continetal breakfast was awesome very good and lots of selection, free stand up tanning bed and indoor pool, and big gym. Very classy looking hotel but also felt very comfortable walking around in jeans. Very close to lots of shopping would definatley recommend and would definatley stay again. Mehr

The hotel was clean inside but ashtrays at doors were overflowing, the bar/resturant didn't open until 4 pm and closed at 10 pm. Too short of hours.

Second visit to this location and the only issue I found is that there isnt enough electric outlets near the bed... unless you unplug the clock. Can't wait to go back...one of these days I might even make it to the pool.

Your hotel was clean and neat. We had no problems. Your staff, however, should learn how to smile and greet guests. Only one member that we encountered smiled and made you feel welcome.

The room came with a king size bed. Augmented by a large Jaccuzi tub with a refrigerator available. Noted limitations Room Service? if there was room service I had no knowledge of it or rates for products. No Television channel info for travelers... I don't live in the area and had no idea what channels were available. Pay Per View availability?

I came to this area to do some fishing at Lake St. Clair and decided to bring my boat. This always complicate a trip because of concerns about parking and the need for an electrical hookup to recharge the boats batteries. Having read reports on all of the hotels/motels from Selfridge to Port Huron, I was also concerned about bed bugs. This Inn is very […] clean, modern, upscale and has lots of parking spaces. I got a room on the first floor and ran an extension cord out the window to the boat. No one complained, so I guess it was okay. Our room had a jacuzzi bath and after a afternoon of fishing, my wife and I found it quite relaxing. We highly recommend this Inn. It is the closest thing to 5 stars that you will find in the area. The hotel is nice but the customer service is poor. They are slow at helping you out and rather rude. They were not very accomodating and did not seem to care much about the client at hand. Would not recommend.
