It is certainly a good value with breakfast included. Rooms are spacious and clean. We have stayed there 3 times The only issue we have is that they supply 4 very small lumpy pillows which are very uncomfortable

When I checked in I was assigned to room 319 and when I opened door the smell of cigarette smoke hit me so hard in the face...I knew I could not sleep in this room. The front desk clerk came and smelled the room for himself and was kind enough to give me another room. My suggestion is for the hotel staff to make certain that not only are the rooms clean […] but smell good also. Mehr

Overall stay was very pleasant. There was one desk clerk that was rather rood to my wife and I when we had to get our room key reprogramed because it stopped working. My room faced the street & the traffic noise was bad. I would be sure to request a room away from the street.

Great room and awesome breakfast bar! I would stay here again if I was in the area.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Especially enjoyed the breakfast !!!!!

When we got there the blond lady at the desk was totaly rude. It was as if we were bothering her.. All the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful... The bed was comfortable the sheets were dingy and a hole behind the door.. The breakfast was excellent. The lady who prepared the omlets, ect. was to perfection....The staff was prompt with any […] juice or coffee request... Over all very plesant the lady at the desk needs and attitude adjustment...Did not see her name but blond and and attitude.... For the price and location very good a 4. Mehr

The hotel was great, however I book thru hotels.com and did not get the room I requested. Also if I had book directly thru the hotel I would have saved a considerable amount.

This hotel is ok.

Sadly we were in town for a funeral. The manager at the hotel was wonderful. After a long drive into Gainesville he allowed us to check in early so we could rest and freshen up before going to church. Everyone in the hotel was warm and friendly. Room was clean with plenty of towels and coffee. Morning paper at the door. Breakfast was included. It was […] not your usual cold donuts and fruit. They had a server making individual omletts, The buffet was filled with great fresh tasting food. The servers made sure everything was fresh and perfect. The pool was clean and well kept. No screaming unattended children running around. Our 2 children enjoyed the pool and it was relaxing at the end of the day. The bar was cozy. Very clean and polished. All the staff in the hotel greated you and inquired if you needed anything. True southern hospitality. When we return to Gainesville we will be sure to stay there. Mehr

Room was comfortable; but service at the dinning room & lounge was poor and dispectful personnel

The staff was friendly upon check-in. Left a message for housekeeping asking for towels and hangers and was never contacted nor did I receive the items I requested. Our room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke.

I have stayed at this location many times for events at my sons school. I have never had any problems with service, staff and the rooms are top-notch. The Breakfast Buffet is a wonderful plus. Anytime I need something the staff goes out of their way to accomodate me and my guests. I have attended several school functions at this hotel and they were […] well-planned and over staffed. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. You will not find another hotel in Gainesville that offers such wonderful service. Mehr

I have used this hotel facility for the past 20+ years when I come to Gainesville, GA to visit with my children. Although the hotel has been through several ownerships, the quality of the facility has always remained high. Although multiple new hotels have been built in the local area for the past several years, this hotel has managed to maintain a […] high standard of quality. Especially noteworthy is the breakfast provided in the mornings. These are always substantial and well presented. Especially noteworthy are the restaurant staff who are always, and I mean always, friendly and helpful. These employees are always the key to the high level of satisfaction that each hotel customer takes home with him/her. So, thank you for maintaining your high standards of this hotel. I have always been a vey satisfied customer. I will continue to return to this hotel as long as the prices remain reasonable. Mehr

The hotel is all that one would expect from a Holiday Inn. It has easy access to and from the city. THe staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our party has a particular food allergy and when explained to the waitress she spoke to the Chef who readily provided a meal which was suitable without any fuss or bother even though it was late in the […] evening and they had a large group in the dining room. This was horrible. Check in was fine and dinner was great, but when we tried to get more towels and blankets, no one would answer the phone. When we walked in the halls there was a breakfast tray (we arrived after 7pm) and it was still there when we checked out at 9am the next morning. Our bathroom didn't have the "heat lamp" literally the bulb was missing, so taking a shower was a sauna and sharing towels with our kids was a nightmare. My son started at Riverside Military Aug 15 and the hotel was more than I expected. The staff was very friendly, the restarant food was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast Buffet was awesome, not like the usual complimentary breakfasts that most hotels offer but a full buffet with anything and everything fresh and hot. If any item got low, […] a fresh batch was immediately brought out. The grounds and pool area were beautifully landscaped and I enjoyed dining on the patio and the peaceful surroundings. It was a true pleasure to stay at an "old fashion" Holiday Inn. A bar(did not go there but could have if I wanted to). White table cloth dining room (did not go there but could have if I wanted to). Room service meals (did that because I wanted to). The courtyard and swimming pool were beautiful!! Everything was spotless. The Food was great. the staff […] was warm and professional. Differnt density pillows to choose from -felt like I was at the Ritz Carlton(and yes I have stayed there numerous times) It was just like the good old days with Hoiday Inn. We needed to turn off during night to be able to sleep.

The room decor was very pleasing to the eye... the bed comfortable.. but the A/C unit was horrible.. we arrived late in the evening and turned on the A/C as we got into bed.. thinking that the unit just needed some time to acclimate the compressor was recycling every 60 secs.. we called the front desk around midnight and they suggested turning the thermostat […] as low as it would go.. we did and the noise was horrible .. the desk clerk the next morning was very appologetic and offered many free breakfast and would discount our next visit.Since we booked with Hotel.com he could not offer credit.. Nice location. Breakfast was great. Staff was very cordial.

They need loads of customer relation teaching. Overall hotel was in line with much lower price properties.

Though the location was in a busy part of the city, it is convenient to all the highways. Staff are very courtesous and helpful. Room is nice.
