Three spiders in a cold shower is NEVER acceptable!!!

The room smelled like curry very strong

Very cheap, but well maintained. Nice staff, easy to get into and you get comfy sleep. Great for the price.

We chose this hotel partly because they have the "park and fly" option which we love. They are always prompt on pick-up and very friendly.

breakfast was so gross!! bread and biscuits were stale. the night desk clerk, i think her name is rachel, is really nice! the day guy is not very friendly. avoid him if you can! the days inn (airport) is much cheaper and has good breakfast. check that one first before you book the super 8! its not bad but just try the days inn first!

Around 11:30 PM our first night in the hotel, we discovered bed Bugs in our bed. The front desk personell swithed us to another room. When the issue was raised with the owner/Manager/ Housekeeper/ Manager, he aknowledged that he was aware of the Bed Bug issue, yet he still placed us in the room.

Overall good place nothing around but people friendly and good service

Bed was comfortable. Staff courteous.

I was exhausted and I needed a room. I'm glad I used the hotel.com app. The Super 8 staff and room were great. Thanks again....

Staff were freindly and room was clean and beds were great. Was not to far from a resturant and we would stay here again.

I needed a hotel for a sleep-over and shower out and in to KC Airport. The Super 8 is well located, was clean with a comfortable bed, reasonably priced, and provided airport transportation at 4:30 AM and later at 12.15 AM. Very good service in the lobby, offers early (430 AM?) breakfast with cheap long term parking and an airport shuttle included.

Motel was close to the airport and easy to find but our room wasn't the cleanest. We won't stay here again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and AC worked great...would stay here again.

I needed a cheap place near the airport ... and I got it. I also liked the free (unsecure!) internet, and the free ride to the airport. (The van was dirty and driven by the hotel clerk. He left his post behind the desk that morning to drive me. I thought that was amusing.) But it makes me sad when there is no regard for upkeep and there's no pride […] in workmanship. This feels like a place in which the owner is trying to extract as much money as possible from the property and is not putting any money back into the business. For instance: * The garden area in front of the hotel and in the parking lot hasn't been tended to in a long time. (An attractive garden is such a cheap and easy thing to fix, too. For a first impression, you can't beat it!) * The door to my room (all doors at this hotel lead directly to the outside) didn't properly fit. Should an insect have wanted to crawl under the door, it would be easy for it to do so. In daylight, I could see light around all edges of the door. * The outside steps leading up to the 2nd floor were covered / patched with a black material reminiscent of shingle material and gave way under my foot as I climbed. It looked shabby; workmanship was poor. * The shower had some plumbing problems. When I turned on the shower, water spewed from the showerhead, but it ALSO squirted from behind the overflow area. The room appeared clean, but because the overall condition of the hotel was poor, I doubt that the room was really all that clean. The Microtel hotel across the street might offer similar rates and looks a lot more spiffy. Mehr

I had an early flight out of KC so I needed to stay overnight somewhere nearby. Super 8 definately had a great price and the reviews didn't look too bad. It appeared the desk clerk was also the shuttle driver to the airport so it took forever to get checked in. I decided to use the park and fly option to save a few bucks on parking fees. On the return […] when I called to get picked up the desk clerk/shuttle driver was unable to communicate in english too well. He was trying to take reservations while driver in airport traffic and lost several phone calls. I'm all for saving a few dollars but if I need to stay overnight again I will spend a few more bucks and stay at a better quality place. Mehr

I recommend this hotel if you are needing to stay close to the airport for an early flight. Along with having a shuttle service to the airport. Also they have long term parking for your car while out of town that is about 1/2 price of the airport. Lots of camera's watching parking lot - quiet and convenient on and off 435. The only frustration I had […] was w/ a late night check in the counter person was gone getting someone from the airport and the owner was in the office on the internet and wouldn't help me check in! Otherwise the front desk clerk was very helpful and polite! Mehr

If you are only looking for a room before or after a flight then its a good fit. The rooms are cean and comfortable at a reasonable price and the airport shuttle and discount parking can't be beat. If you are looking for more then stay away. The vending machines didn't work, there are no restaurants close by and the continental breakfast is a joke.

We were very happy with our room - our bed was very comfortable and the staff was nice. The only problem was we were on the main floor and someone upstairs kept running through the halls throughout the night.

Great location to MCI Airport; complimentary shuttle to/from airport; early breakfast start time; comfy bed; few TV channels; clean room/bathroom...1 downside: bathroom sink drain smelled like sulfur coming out of it if it wasn't shut :-/

The hotel wasn't fancy but certainly met our basic needs well. The staff was friendly and helpful and I appreciate having a complimentary continental breakfast. It was more-than adequate and we would stay there again - the price was very reasonable.

This hotel is a great cheap place to stay if you are going to catch a plane and need to park your car while gone from the area. If you are going to be spending anymore time than that, please look elsewhere. The internet didn't work in the room but did in the lobby. One of the employees said that they were overhauling the internet and television system, […] so maybe that will be corrected. The room was just ok not anything great. It is a noisy place when there are alot of people staying at the hotel. They have great rates to park your car while gone and have a true 24 hr. shuttle service that was great. Mehr

We used this hotel after driving down to KC from Omaha to see a game at Kauffman Stadium. This suggestion was given to us as lodging near The K. This is NOT the case. This location is very close to the Airport however. They seem very accomodating as well. They offer shuttle rides to and from the airport and it seems as though you can avoid any parking […] fees at the airport by leaving your car at the Super 8. The gentleman who worked the desk seemed very nice and the neighborhood was close to several dining options. The rooms are outdoor entry...but all in all the location was good for the price. We didn't need much more than a bed and a parking spot and this place that and more. Would stay here again if I need to use the Airport in KC. Mehr

Everything was great except for the complete lack of soundproof walls and floors. My neighbors kept me up all night, and I don't think they were intending to be that loud.

Stayed here overnight to catch an early morning flight. The hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport, and you can leave your car at the hotel during your trip out and back. The catch is that you have to pay $4.50 per day which was not listed on the hotels.com site when I booked. Still cheaper than parking at the airport and they don't charge you […] for the day you leave and the day you return. Overall good for a good nights rest. Mehr

Older hotel but clean and comfortable. Dead bolt did not work properly.The included breakfast just skip. Every thing but the cold ceral was lousey.But still worth the money. Would still recomend, eat breakfast out.
