Das Best Western Spanish Quarter Inn liegt für kurzbesucher ideal unmittelbar am Rande der Innenstadt. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Dies sntsprach vollkommen den Ankündigungen und erwartungen. Visavis ist gleich eine Station für die Trolleytour. Zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten in Old Town. Gegenüber eines Museums. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend.

I loved my stay. Not a newer hotel but clean and comfortable. Pillows were so soft! Mattress was comfy. So convenient, had a great restaurant right next door. Staff was excellent. Across the street from trolley. I would definitely recommend this hotel

We foyund that the location was really good. The other aspect that we highly commend was that you could order your free breakfast on the phone at night before retiring and it was delivered on a tray by hotel staff! Had a great expierence. Pete at the front desk was very helpful and always friendly. That certainly aded to the overall opinion of the stay. I was also very impressed by the breakfast assortment they offer. Very nicley put together and CLEAN! Loved it all! I will certainly stay there next time I'm in town!

Room was very clean. Bathroom was way too tiny! Could hardly get into the bathroom let alone move around. Overall our stay was very pleasant. Breakfast was good and the location was excellent! Didn't have to drive any where. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

Overall the room was ok..comfortable and the location is great to everything. First night had a few roaches in the bathroom and living area....had to go buy a can of Raid and make a barrier around the bed just in case. Maybe we were just unlucky but that shouldn't be the first impression when we entered the room. hotel staff was nice.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. We walked everywhere. If you're used to 5 star properties, you won't be pleased, but for a decent room at a great price, you will be pleased.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to a lot of places of interest. The breakfast is not impressive - border line acceptable. They call it "hot" but the only hot items are coffee, toast and some waffles you can prepare yourself..... and the waffle mix was quite nasty and greasy. The hotel is located immediately next to the heart of historic St. Augustine. It is a great walk across the street and down St. George’s street. There are a couple more expensive hotels on San Marcos Street, but this hotel was very affordable and right at the center of action. The rooms are spacious and there linens are of high quality. The breakfast was nice and all of the staff were VERY friendly. Also the hotel provides free wifi that worked perfectly during our one night stay. There was no pool or hot tub, but the location is the main attraction for this great hotel. I highly recommend. The rooms are old, they stink and don't really look like the pictures. The blankets were oversized airplane blankets between two sheets. The location was great, right in town and the staff was friendly.

This hotel does have a lot of things going for it, the location is excellent, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is basic but good, I found the rooms were a bit small and I, have never ever said this before, the carpet floors were really dirty,my tennis socks were black every night even though the rest of the room was clean and the bathroom […] was small. My stay was good the staff was very friendly and helpful. Two employees at the front desk stood out for their customer service and that was pete and kristina. When i stay again at St Augustine i will be staying at this hotel. The location of the hotel is really good. The hotel is clean in the rooms and also on the outside.

I've stayed many times before and will continue to use the Best Western Spanish Quarter for tour groups. I did have some difficulty with fluctuations in hot water in my room (212) but nothing I couldn't get over!

Exceptional location. Across the street from the trolley stop, next door to Barnacle Bill's seafood restaurant, easy walk to City Gates and St. George's Walking Mall and the many restaurants there. Very small bathrooms but clean. Comfortable beds. Refrigerator and microwave so you can save your leftovers and heat them up later if you are inclined to […] do that. Parking was $5.00 per day and, although some have stated that parking spaces were extremely narrow, I thought they were adequate and I have a full-size SUV. Staff was great. Location fantastic. Our only gripe was no hot water for two mornings. Having the shower go cold with shampoo in your hair really discolored an otherwise great value.

Everything was wonderful. Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Beds were comfortable but rooms were slightly smaller compared to other Best Western's I have stayed at. However, rooms were still larger than some other hotels. It could be that this is an older property but it has been updated. The location was wonder. as advertised....but don't expect WI FI..they told me to call the Internet provider ? Realy ? The wireless router just needed rebooting but they wouldn't let me..then said it was locked up in a room. I came to St. Augustine a few months ago and stayed at hotel not to far from the Best Western and the hotel was ehh. So I wanted to stay somewhere closer than where I was before. This hotel was $20 more than the last but so worth it. The room was mostly clean and had a microwave and fridge with a flat screen tv with direct tv. The walls could use some […] touch ups but the decorating was nice. As we were leaving I noticed that under the beds could have used some more cleaning underneath. Just had a little bit of trash under there. The bathroom could have used a little work. The wallpaper was falling off the walls and it looked like someone had smoked in the bathtub bc there were burn marks on it. But all in all I would stay there again. My husband and I spent our first Anniversary at this hotel. We could simply stroll down the street to visit the Castillo De San Marcos. We were within a short walking distance from charming gourmet restaurants and a few nice bars. The only drawback we experienced is that at the time the hotel's WiFi was out of commission. Centrally located. Short walk to all attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was adequate and clean. The carpeting could have been better vacuumed. Breakfasts were adequate and there was always coffee available. Overall, the Best Western Spanish Quarter Inn is a great bang for the buck.

I was very disappointed. The jacuzzi was not working. The fridge did not work. The tub did not drain. The toilet ran. I stayed at this hotel before and the quality definitely declined. On the day we left, the hotel manager was in the parking lot waxing his car. I guess that is why the quality was so poor.

What a great surprise! I haven't stayed here in years, and it is much improved. The staff is the best of any hotel/motel I have ever stayed. They want you to have a great time and, when asked, offer many suggestions as to where to visit, shop, and eat. All recommendations were good. The location is great, within 1/4 mile of historical area. The staff is great. The hotel is showing its age some, but no major problems. The bathroom is very small, as is the breakfast room. However, there are several choices for breakfast and the crowding was not a huge problem.
