Das Familienzimmer war sehr gut, groß genug für 4 Personen. Das Hallenbad ist zwar klein, aber für die Kinder eine tolle Abwechslung nach einem Kultur Tag. Eltern können in der Sauna und im Dampfbad entspannen. Sehr zentrale Lage, man kann alles zu Fuß machen. Spitzenmäßiges Frühstücksbuffet!! Ist auf jeden Fall den Preis wert.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel, hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet (!), freundliche Mitarbeiter - ein gelungener Aufenthalt in München. Besonders schön sind die großzügigen Suiten, so dass wir (2 Erw. und 3 Kinder) ausreichend Platz hatten und dennoch zusammen waren. Nicht ganz günstig, ich denke aber, dass ist das Münchner Niveau.

Der Aufenthalt war zufriedenstellend.Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut,leider kein kostenloser Hotelparkplatz ( 10€ ).Personal sehr nett und freundlich.

"Günstige Lage zur Altstadt"
Das Hotel entspricht voll den Erwartungen. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof hat Vor- und Nachteile. Zimmer zur Straße sind nichts für Geräuschempfindliche. Davon abgesehen gibt es nur Gutes zu berichten. Service und Sauberkeit lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und ausnehmend gut.

"Laute Umgebung"
die Fenster in den Zimmer schließen nicht, sind undicht, es dringt der ganze Strassenlärm ein, und verhindert ein durchgehendes entspanntes Schlafen. Wir konnten in unserem Zimmer im 5. Stock den Verkehrslärm so wahrnehmen, als würden wir vor dem Hotel an der Straße stehen. Das Hotelmanagement kennt dieses Problem und verhandelt angeblich mit Fachfirmen […] über einen möglichen Fenstertausch. Mehr
"Laut und Heiss"
Das Hotel liegt an einer viel befahrenen Strasse und besitzt keine Klimaanlage. Im Sommer kann man nicht schlafen, weil es bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr laut oder bei geschlossenem Fenster unerträglich heiss ist.
"Zimmer über 40 Grad heiss, gewaltiger Strassenlärm"
Von einem Hotel im Jahre 2010 erwartet man sich schon eine Klimaanlage. Nun, wir waren bei 35 Grad Aussentemp. in diesem Hotel, das Zimmer hatte weit über 40 Grad. Das Fenster kann man nicht öffnen, denn es herrscht ein gewaltiger Strassenlärm. Schlafdauer: Nicht mal eine Stunde, sind voll fertig am nächsten Tag heim gefahren. Ach ja, als Antwort erhält […] man: Als dieses Hotel gebaut wurde, waren die Sommer noch nicht so heiss....aha, man kann ja im Jahr 2010 auch keine Klima nachrüsten.......NIE MEHR SIEHT UNS DIESES HOTEL!!!! "Sehr gute Lage"
Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Wir konnten alles sehr schnell zu Fuß bzw. mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Hotelpersonal sehr nett. Wir fahren wieder hin.

Das Hotel liegt an einer sehr belebten Strasse mit vielen kleinen multikulturellen Läden, Kneipen und Spielsalons und dem dazugehörenden Lärmpegel. Was tagsüber reizvoll ist, wird in der Nacht strapaziös. Leider vermögen die alten,wenig schallisolierenden Fenster diesen Lärm nicht zu absorbieren. An Wochenenden nimmt der Zimmergast am Nachtleben wohl […] oder übel bis in die frühen Morgenstunden teil. Ein Tiefschlafvermögen ist da von grossem Vorteil! Mehr

"sehr zentral gelegen gleich beim Bahnhof"
ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbüffet und seit neustem wird ein Restaurant betrieben,welches eine hervoragende Küche anbietet. der Service war in meinem Falle sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Preis -Leistungsverhältnis stimmt absolut.

"OK location, but....."
From our room in 5th floor, we were annoyed by traffic and shouting in the street. This because of very poor sound-insulated windows. It was like living on the ground floor. Aircondition was out of order. We had 26 degrees Celsius i the room when we woke up in the morning.

"Great Location!!!"
Great Location and friendly staff!!!! Centrally located within walking distance to everything you could want!!! The only drayback is the breakfast is not included and we were charged 17 Euros each!!! Ouch!!! Otherwise, great hotel.

Very nice location, the only issue with the hotel was the pillows and sheets in the rooms were not up to standard. The hotel was very reasonably priced and the staff were very pleasant.

"Close to train station"
This hotel is located just a short walk from the main train station - Munich Hauptbahnhof. The numerous bars and night clubs in this neighbourhood do not make for a good introduction to Munich. However, the streets are perfectly safe. We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and walking home late at night was never a problem. Our room faced the back […] of the hotel and even with our window open it was very quiet at night. The room was up to the usual Best Western standards - good towels, bedding, plug-ins etc. Upon request, a tea service was delivered to our room. The housekeeping staff cleaned our room daily. The location of the hotel gives one easy access to the U-Bahn, S-Bahn, and the tram. Breakfast at the hotel is on the pricey side. There are plenty of places close by for a coffee. Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Mehr

Convenitently located within a few blocks of the Hauptbahnhof. Sumptious breakfast buffet, very friendly staff, and convenient parking made this a wonderful place to stay to explore Munich and the surrounding area.
"Good choice for the tourist"
The hotel service, comfort and cleanliness couldn't have been better. Being one block from the Hauptbahnhof, the location is perfect for those arriving by train to visit the Altstadt. The only drawback to some may be the many sex-oriented businesses and casinos in the immediate neighborhood, but the close proximity to the train statin and the Altstadt […] are an acceptable trade-off. "Best Western Munich"
Had an early morning meeting in Munich so booked for one night. Hotel location is pretty good- close to central train stations etc. Decor and finish in hotel is pretty poor and not sure how they achieved 4 star status. I've stayed in many hotels and this would normally be rated 3 star. Room was clean but major problem was that the temperate in the rooms […] was extremely hot and the air conditioning adjustment didnt work so I opened the window before I tried to go to sleep and spent most of the night being awoken by emergency services and police sirens :( Shower temp kept alternating from boiling to freezing so maybe they have some issues in the boiler room? Staff at reception next morning were pretty unhelpful and that was just me trying to check out- I didnt mention the room temp, just wanted to check out and be gone.. Because of Oktoberfest I paid a major premium for the room and was overall very disappointed. Wouldnt stay in Best Western again based on the experience. Mehr

conveniently located near the main train station and short walking distance to both Oktoberfest grounds and other city sites/locations in Munich. staff was friendly and helpful. rooms were clean and very modern and bright.
"Worst sleep ever"
I can not recomend this hotel because there is no airconditoning in the room, or whatever they have it does not work, and it get so hot it is impossible to sleep. If you open the windows to get some air, it's really noisy.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The breakfasts were excellent but found the dinner menu limited and small meals not suitable. The desk staff were very helpful with arranging a wheelchair for my son and assisting with travel information. The airconditioning in the room was the only thing we were not happy about....it wasn't cool enough.

We spent three days, and all we needed was to go between our hotel and Marienplatz and back each day to have a good time. :)

"Good price, location great for train station"
Hotel was in a convenient location from the train station; very clean, comfortable. The staff was efficient and polite, but a smile or two wouldn't hurt! The neighborhood is a bit seedy but seemed safe enough. There were not a lot of restaurants in a 2 block radius of the hotel except fast-food style establishments. However, the hotel has a restaurant […] that looked decent. We ended up eating across the street in a Mediterranean restaurant attached to the Courtyard Marriott and the meal and wine were excellent. There are plenty of sandwich shops inn the train station 1 1/2 blocks away where you can grab breakfast or lunch fairly inexpensively. Mehr

The only good thing about this hotel was it location near to city center. Rooms were really small and beds were really old. A/C was not working. Parking lot was only having one way for the car going up and down and it was not clean at all.

The first room we got was not very nice. If you book through hotels.com I think they give a room on the first floor that is old and not well kept. But we went to the front desk and complained and they gave us a room on the third floor that was very new and clean. Great location, near train station and about a 10 minute walk from many main attractions. Neighborhood is fine and surrounding by Arab and middle eastern restaurants and stores. Not a problem just a point of information. Service was average and the hotel was doing renovations on our floor thus my friend and I were woken up by construction workers a […] few mornings. The beds are tiny and probably least comfortable beds I've experienced in Europe thus far. The front desk folks were very helpful in providing us with sights to see and bars/restaurants to visit. "Perfect AAA+"
The location was out the side door of the train station (Munich HBF) and about a block to walk. Car rentals are conveinently at the train station. We came in around midnight and you do walk pass a exotic/sex store but the area is safe and that is just Munich for you. In daylight you will see that all is good in the area. Easy walking distance to everything […] you would want to see in the downtown. You are in one of the greatest cities so you gotta expect city street noise. The rooms are not air conditioned so open your window and take your earplugs with you. Our room was extremely clean. Staff was helpful with any questions. As in Europe you will pay for the use of the internet. I recommend this hotel. Mehr
"Highly disappointing"
I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the train station, but after staying for two nights I have to say it was not worth it. The neighborhood is extremely sketchy, with casinos and strip clubs along the street nearby. Most rooms face over the street, so you can enjoy the constant din of traffic and emergency vehicles, accompanied by drunken […] shouting at night and construction noise to wake you early in the morning. The housekeeping staff woke me at 8:30 in the morning to clean the room - knocking once and entering while I was still half clothed. No explanation or apology was given. When we complained about this and an issue with the Internet connection (which is not free, just so you know), the hotel staff were extremely rude. When I talked to the manager I could understand where they got their attitude from. He refused to concede any fault on the part of the hotel, constantly interrupted me, and clearly did not care about the problems I was having. Generally Best Western hotels are a good bet, but I must highly recommend everyone to avoid this place. Mehr
