"Over priced for what you get"
Staff was great, very friendly; price was high for the room condition. The hotel is old and even though it was remodeled it smells of water damage in hallways. The restaurant was wonderful, great food and drink specials for guests.

We were greeted on our first night by a great person at the desk. She was friendly, and gave the best service I have received from any hotel stays that we have been on..I am sorry I did not tell her, so please let her know. I deal with people all the time and it is nice to go on a family vacation and get the best service.

The hotel's location is great, w/ a market, laundry and restaurants close by. The breakfast was very good and the staff very responsive. The hallways are very noisy, perhaps due to the ice machine.

"Pleasantly suprised"
I was pleasantly surprised. The Lounge does not have a great selection of drinks and to pool was dirty arround the top edge but otherwise I was pleased with my stay

"Decent, comfortable for area"
Winslow is a way-stop on our way to or from our winter quarters. We now make a Choice Hotels property our first selection because of value, consistency, and pet accommodation. The Winslow Quality Inn is showing age and a bit of tackiness, but it was still acceptably clean and quiet. Check-in was easy and friendly. A bonus was a coupon for two free drinks […] in the restaurant, so we ate dinner there and were pleasantly surprised by reasonable prices and tasty food including very unique and good tacos. The swimming pool and spa looked inviting and were usable unlike the COLD water in a Choice property in New Mexico--unfortunately we were too tired to partake. The A/C had digital temp. control, so it was easier to get the right setting, but it was a typically noisy wall unit. The breakfast bar had good selection and was well serviced. Also had good wi-fi and a complimentary WSJ newspaper. All said, a good, average hotel for the area and fair value, and we would come back. Mehr
"Good stop in Winslow"
We travel often by car around the states and I am a bit of a hotel snob. That said...this little hotel was a nice find. The room was clean, newly remodeled and roomy. Nothing fancy but for a night or two, perfect. They have a bar/restaurant on site and the desk gal, who was super friendly, noticing we had been driving all day, gave us two free drink […] tickets. The pool area was nice and airy so you don't choke on chlorine and heated. The breakfast was the usual bad hotel food. We don't eat at hotels...but across the street was a great local espresso shop. The first time I stayed the room was fine. The second time the room was very musty and the sink leaked onto my foot every time I washed my hands. The heater was turned up to 86 degrees for it to warm up. I hate to have to check out rooms before I stay in it, but will have to next time.

BLUF: I will never stay at this hotel and would not recommend this hotel to any family or friends. They do not deserve even 2 stars. Pros: This hotel is conveniently located just off I-40. It is convenient to a number of restaurants and stores. Cons: As expensive as the rate was, I would have expected a better hotel experience. Room was dirty and […] although it was a non-smoking room, had a musty odor. In the room, the light fixture was broken as well as a hole in the door. It appeared as if there was a party in the room recently and no repairs were made. The staff was unhelpful in regards to the room and made no apologies. Mehr

the chairs you had to sit in in the room were so uncomfortable we could not get any rest
Smoke smell in hallway. Loud door slamming all night. Breakfast not bad, just not great. Helpful front desk, but overall experience was lack luster.

"Quality Inn & Communication"
The Quality Inn in Winslow has gone through many changes but it remains the best hotel in Winslow. We checked in with our son on Friday night. The room they gave us had not been cleaned so they gave us a suite in the smoking area. The room smelled so we left our son with family hoping we could clear out the smell the following night. We did not have […] to go to the trouble, the staff did the cleaning for us. Unfortunately, we did not have bedding for our son on the pull out couch so we had to wait for it. All in all, the evening staff was great and extremely professional. We will stay at the Quality Inn in the future. Mehr
"Clean, comfortable and great location"
We stayed here for one night but could have easily stayed longer if time permitted. The beds we had were soooo comfortable, i slept till 9.30am and only woke as my husband woke me up. Convenient location right off the highway but no highway noise at all. Many food places around to eat at (fast food mainly) and very friendly staff. Highly recommend […] this place to stay!!! Mehr

The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was average. The surrounding area was okay. Since we were only there to sleep I would recommend this hotel as an option for the weary traveler.

"Decent hotel with very good service."
Very friendly people at front desk. Restaurant in hotel served very good food at a good price. Rooms recently remodeled. The bathrooms did not look too good, and they made us aware of this when checking-in.

The hotel staff was good, restaurant onsite was very good. The hallways were really hot and no elevator. Full breakfast was a little skimpy. Not bad for the price.

As we read from others, before we booked it, the staff was amazing. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel was ok. It wasn't nigh end, so my expectations were not very high and it was more than adequate. However, it does not have an elevator, so request a downstairs room if that is an issue. We didn't know this and were traveling with elderly dad. […] We came in late, so did not use the pool (much to my children's disappointment). Breakfast was great. There was a good selection and even my picky eater ate something! The hotel was in the center of the places we wanted to go in the two days we were in this part of AZ, Meteor Crater and the Petrified Forrest one day and the Granyon the second. Mehr
"Nice Stay over"
Quick access to the I-40. Short drive to the famous "Standing On The Corner" location. Hotel has clean spacious rooms with a lounge and restaruant which is always a plus. Would stay again
"Nice but noisy"
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, but the walls were paper-thin and a loud family arriving next door at 12:30 in the morning put an end to a peaceful sleep. I can't really blame the hotel, however.....they have no control over inconsiderate guests.

We had a great nights stay, wonderful continental breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Resturant was clean friendly and good food, nice place to stay, would recommend it to all my friends.

"Quality Inn---Winslow"
This is definitely a motel. I travel all over northern AZ for my job, and I've never stayed in a motel. But from other reviews, this is the nicest place to stay in Winslow. Would I stay in the motel for a vacation? No. The bathroom seemed a little dirty and there was hair in my shower, but overall it was just an okay stay.
"I'd go back anytime"
We could find nothing to complain about at all. The desk even called us to make sure our room was satisfactory. I was pleasantly shocked. I'd drive out of my way to stay here. We just got back from two weeks on the road and this motel is #1 on the list of moderately priced motels. A very clean, and pleasant stay.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly. The on site restaurant is great, the food there is very good and we ate there both times we stayed at the hotel. The pool and hot tub are indoors, which is great because you dont freeze when you get out in the evenings and they are very clean and well maintained. The hotel is older but the beds are very comfortable […] and the rooms are spacious. As were were travelling with our teenage daughter, this was a plus. The only thing I would say is the hotel needs the rubber bath mats to stand on for the showers but that is the only thing I can say. I love that they have a good sized fridge and microwave and a decent coffee maker in all the rooms too. It is in a really good location too. All in all we were very happy with our stay there. What a great place to stay -the staff personal were fabulous! Room very clean, large, AND FOX TV, breakfast was more than enough, and if not, the hotel restaurant was very nice with plenty of options for meals, not to mention Happy Hour and lots of great things to take to one's room. Would have enjoyed staying another night to partake of the jacuzzi […] and the pool - VERY NICE! but had to head on to Texas. Highly recommend this lodgin! Mehr

There are a lot of older hotels/motels in Winslow. This is an older hotel that has been updated a while back. It was clean and staff friendly, but is not like staying in a "new" hotel. We usually stay at La Posada, but it was totally booked for the night.
"Very comfortable"
This motel was very welcoming and comfortable. The room was large, the breakfast adequate. Compared to the previous night this was heaven!
"Terrible Customer Service"
I stayed at the Quality Inn of Winslow on and off from November 2010 through January 2011 for work. The final evening of my time spent in Winslow, I checked in and proceeded to the bar for my two comped drinks. One of the staff members, who appeared to be the night manager, lingered around the bar looking at his watch. He even told me that I was keeping […] the bar open late, even though it was prior to the posted closing time. As I left the bar, the staff member (who was still lingering) bumped into me as I left. When I brought the issue up with the Owner the next morning, he claimed the staff member was his brother. He blew off the "bumping" incident, and when that reaction didn't satisfy me, the conversation became more hostile. I simply expressed that the behavior was not acceptable, and that another guest may have reacted to the bump with reciprocal violence. The Owner became upset, and began yelling at me in a foreign language in front of other guests in the lobby. He also went as far as to call me a racist, which was completely unwarranted. Needless to say, my crew and I will not be staying at this hotel for the remainder of our work in the Winslow area. There are plenty of other mediocre hotels in the area where we may or may not be treated as valued return customers. Mehr
