Best Western Plus Montreal Airport Hotel - Dorval

convenient location, lounge and restaraunt service and food were excellent. We have stayed many times and always wondered why the food and bar service was so good. the loungs and restaraunt are run by a family that really knows what service is!!

The hotel is pretty noisy right now due to the construction. The storm drains are obviously messed up as my car was in 6 inches of water during the rain. Breakfast was fine. Plane traffic noise was noticeable but not objectionable. A much better score would be had when the nearby construction is finished.

Paid the extra for delux room but I would never pay the extra price. The room was at the most basic level that I have ever experianced. Will not be returning to this location.

we booked 2 nights in a Deluxe King bed room; it was last minute online, when we arrived (late at night) we were told we booked too late to get that room for the first night. We were given a very small room with queen bed, not a problem re: bed size but the room was very small and had a strong unpleasant odour. We did change the next day to the promised/paid […] for King room, very nice and exactly what we had expected. Staff weren't very bothered by our situation and it seemed to be a usual event here. i have stayed there when ever i am in town, the hotel is ideal with a very friendly staff willing to help you in any way. Rooms are very nice and well kept. I also like the that they have a restaurant there, along with free continental breakfast.

Smelled like an older room, older furniture, says non-smoking but probably was and smell tried to cover up over time. Good as right by airport, but if an early flight next AM no way you can get the free breakfast. Since price same as others stay elsewhere

Clean, spacious, comfortable rroom. Very helpful reception staff. Minutes from airport. Use their shuttle-we arrived at same time as a large group so faced a wait and took a taxi only to be stung for a dsiproportionate fare (minimum charge).

Located at the intersection of 20 and 520. Fairly easy to find. Easy access to different HWY. Front desk is friendly. The room condition is good. The breakfast is very simple.

The room was in the basement (RC level) behind the parking. Washroom was too small. I could not breath normally because the room was in the RC level beside the pool. the breakfast was good but the staff there was too serious (not even smiling).

This was an extremely convenient place to stay when we arrived very late in the evening and had to make a long drive the next day. The location is right outside the airport, which is perfect since it took us about three minutes to get from the airport parking lot to the hotel. Room service seemed very expensive given what the offerings were, and not […] much for vegetarians. The bathroom was a closet, but it did the job. The room was clean and comfortable. Idid not get the room with the double bed and flat screen tv, and I INSISTED THAT THE ROOM HAD TO BE NON SMOKING ,BAD SIGHT OF THE BURNT CIGARETTE STAINS IN THE CARPET,I got a room with two double beds,and a old model 27 inch Zennith TV.The noise from the jet aircrafts taking -off was uncomfortable.the constructionof the roadway nearby was disturbing […] .iam sure there is a better hotel to get a good night sleep in the general area.This was a bad experience for me and my wife . We got an upgrade at this hotel due to an error caused between the hotel and the web site. As a result, the room was nicer than the original rooms we would have gotten. The room rate was cheap so it met the number of stars for this hotel. I would stay there again if the rate was right.

Goggle Maps has this hotel at a completely different location -- on a dark street on the other side of the airport. The staff reported that this was a problem they knew about but weren't able to fix. They were helpful in directing me to the hotel when I called them from the wrong side of the airport. VERY frustrating.

Complaints include...insufficient parking, bathroom sink not in the bathroom, dinky bathroom. Things in the surrounding area and access may be better when the road construction ends.

It's a good hotel. The breakfast it's not too good. The city at 20 minutes from the hotel. It's a good hotel in general.

It was very convenient to the airport and the staff was very helpful. The room was clean.

I requested for a more romantic room but the attendant gave us the first floor where we cannot even open the windows because he gave us the room accross the parking lot. Not a happy client. Good that we only stayed there for a night.

Staff was awesome, shuttle was very convenient from airport and to the train station. Room was extremely clean and well appointed. The continental breakfast was deluxe and for a small charge a short order cook had many menu options to augment the complimentary fare. I highly recommend this hotel.

Best Western sometimes gets and sometimes not. The hotel is convenient to airport and has a good shuttle. The rooms are OK but have old TVs and weak WIFI. Mold and mildew around the tub in VERY SMALL bathroom. Pool is tiny. Stay at the Sheraton or Marriott its worth the difference.

This is a world class hotel with a 3rd class bathroom venting system.

Exceptional Service

This hotel met my needs in terms of being close to the airport, but it is expensive and you get very little for your money. The business center printer was down, checkout took an extremely long time, causing me to miss the airport shuttle, and my room, although non-smoking, smelled strongly of smoke. All in all I wouldn't recommend this hotel, find […] something else (there are a lot of hotels in the area around the airport for the same price). This one does not deserve your business. Mehr

The staff was very friendly

A relatively trashy hotel, surrounded by highways and construction. Overused, uncomfortable furniture, tiny bed (reserved queen, got a double...for two people). The only good thing to say is that the staff was friendly.

This clean and neat hotel is conveniently located near the airport. The hotel staff are wonderfully personable and helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast buffet is marvelous, as is the internet access. Rooms are simply furnished but have all that one family might need for an overnight stay. The rates are reasonable and a great value considering […] the many amenities on location - except for the hotel restaurant which serves good food but is woefully overpriced and a severe shock to the wallet when you get the bill. Better to have take-out food delivered to your room, if on a budget with multiple family members. Mehr

Room key would not work to open hotel door near my room at the other end of the hotel. Very inconvenient as this was a large hotel. Staff was apologetic but maintenace is low at the hotel. Broken door lock, toilet that ran, bathroom exhaust that banged, and the washroom was so small, they actually had to put the sink out in the room itself. The hotel didn`t resppect the rate as I was leaving my car on their parking lot for one week and I have been charged $80.00 extra for. Waited the shuttle at the airport on my returning flight for 50 minutes when they are located 1 mile away from the airport and call them 3 time to know where was the shuttle.

Parking fees very expensive. Hours of breakfast service to short.

I picked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and the way it fitted in with the rest of the travel plans. The hotel service was excellent and everything went smooth as and would recommend this hotel. The complementary shuttle to the terminal was also great. The only downside was the room itself had a bit of an odd musty smell when we first […] arrived - this could have been the air con but not sure, it either disappeared or we adjusted to it pretty quick. The hotel was great. The room was a good size, it was clean and the staff was very friendly. We brought our two very young children who made a big mess at breakfast, but the staff were very nice and understanding and helped us. The only downside was that the pool was under annual maintenance.

there are better options. Room ok but there is a great deal of road construction going on. Rooms are adequate but in serious need of updating. You get what you pay for.

Enjoyable stay even though t was middle of snow storm. Competant, friendly staff, good facilities.
