Wir bekamen kostenlos ein Zimmerupgrade. Im Zimmer angekommen, waren wir sprachlos. Großes Zimmer mit Himmelbett, großes Bad mit Dusche und Whirlpoolwanne. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Am nächsten morgen wurde dann erstmal das vielgelobte Frühstück unter die Lupe genommen. Ich gebe zu, dass ich mich fragte, warum ein Porridge preisgekrönt sein kann. Ok, nun weiß ich es. Ich liebe Porridge - aber nun habe ich neue Maßstäbe. Das restliche Frühstück ließ auch keine Wünsche offen. Man bekam eine Menükarte für das warme Frühstück und konnte sich etwas auswählen. von Crepes und Wraps bishin zum tradionellen irishen Frühstück war alles vorhanden. Wie man die Eier haben wollte (porchiert, gekocht, gebraten oder gerührt) konnte man natürlich auch angeben. :-) Zudem waren Besitzer und Personal auch sehr hilsbereit und gaben gerne auch Tips für die Umgebungen. Diese Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Super Hotel. An der Atlantikbucht gelegen, Zimmer mit Meerblick buchbar. Wunderschöne Hotelanlage, mit tollem Spa-Bereich. Im Whirlpool sitzen und aufs Meer blicken. Zimmer top eingerichtet, super Service, sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, aufmerksam. Golfplatz vorhanden, ca. 3 km bis in die nächste Ortschaft. Wunderschön gelegen, wunderschönes Hotel und top Service. Kein Wenn und Aber. Einfach grandios.
Lage

The hotel itself was excelent but there is a back lane behind it that is very noisey with teenagers hanging around .

A very welcoming hotel with friendly and helpful satff. We booked a standard double room which was spotlessly clean and quiet spacious for a town central. Night life of killarney is on your door step, great location.

Stayed here for one night with friends. Overall a good experience. The girl at reception was lovely and very helpful. The rooms are a little on the small side for 3 and our room looked out at a wall but it was very quiet. Would recommend this hotel for location and quiet.

"You will like if you are going all night to pubs!"
Hotel was very convenient to walking around to surrounding restaurants. Was hard to get to driving as you had to go around round-about all the way to get to it. No hotel parking. We were very lucky and got a spot out front. VERY noisy room -right on alley for pubs!! Ask for a room away from alley. It was a bank holiday weekend, so that could be why […] but would not stay there again unless we could get a room off the alley. Mehr
"A very nice and recommendable stay"
I'm very very satisfied with the stay at The International Hotel in Killarney. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly both in the restaurant and in the reception, the breakfast was really good, the hotel had a 'good vibe' and it always smelled of fresh flowers in the reception hall:) The only objection I have is that the rooms are very small - though […] cosy. And the beds are a bit hard (you could feel the box springs in your back). But the rooms are i generel very clean and cozy and me and my friends had a really pleasant experience over all. Mehr

Very convenient to town center, shopping. Easy access to main highways. Staff very friendly and helpful. Furnishings and bed a bit dated and worn but would still recommend

We enjoyed a most comfortable and welcomed stay at the international recently ,the staff are very friendly and helpful the only thing we would have fault with is they do not have on site parking and as the weather was bad on two days this was more of an inconvienence ... apart from that we could not fault our stay and will definately be staying here […] again .. "Great location for town, national park and INEC"
Perfect location for those attending events at INEC who want to stay in town. It is also within 5min walk to multiple entrances to Killarney National Park and the Deros tour office (for tours of Ring of Kerry, Dingle, etc). It's also only 5-10min walk from the bus station. Very convenient! Very comfortable, clean room. I booked a single but was upgraded […] to an executive King room. The jacuzzi tub came in very handy after traveling from the US via London, and again after a day spent walking around the park. Breakfast was wonderful - I love that you can request only the bits of a "full Irish" that you actually want/are able to eat. I tended to fill up on the wonderful brown bread so couldn't eat a full Irish breakfast, too. One suggestion for improvement is to put the tea tray up on the desk or on a higher shelf. It was very awkward having it located on the lowest shelf of the tv cabinet (nearly on the floor) and the cord snaked up through the desk in a way that made it impossible to move. Another excellent amenity for US travellers was a 110v plug at the desk making it easy to charge a phone or ipod without needing an adaptor! Mehr

Literally in the town centre with jaunting cars (horse and trap) right opposite hotel. No hotel parking but public car park 100 yds away (pre-pay for parking Mon-Sat 0900-1830) Very welcoming and much quieter than you would expect for such a central hotel. Quite old-fashioned but nice, traditional decor.

"Do not stay here Worst Hotel in Ireland says someone who stays over one hundred nights a year"
Rooms are tiny, approx 12 feet by 10 feet, with the smallest and narrowest beds I have ever seen. No bath in the en-suite, only a shower room. No internet access. When I complained to reception, they did not want to know and tried to defend the standard of the bedrooms. They were unfriendly and unhelpful. I stay in Hotels in Ireland approx 100 […] nights a year as my work takes me all over the Country, North and South and in the last 20 years, this is the worst hotel I have stayed in. This was a leisure weekend and it was spoilt by a bad hotel. I don`t stay in Killarney for my work, I stay in Tralee and I won`t stay in this hotel ever again. Mehr

"It was so-so"
Good location, but anywhere in the village would have been. The room was kinda small, but nicely decorated. Pillows were very hard, thin and uncomfortable. No internet in rooms, but free wi-fi in lobby, which was nice.

I stayed in the Best Western International for a weekend recently and i found the hotel to be very comfortable. The check-in went with without a hitch and i was able to go to the room even though i was a bit before the check-in time. The room itself was small but functional and quite comfortable also. I didn't eat in the restaurant at all so i can't […] comment on the quality of the food but i did have the breakfast in the hotel which was lovely and very filling also. Mehr
"Nice Hotel and Good Location"
All in all I was happy with my stay. Room was clean and comfortable but maybe a bit on the small side. Had a nice meal in the downstairs bar but missed the breakfast so can't comment.
