Best Western Alfa Aeropuerto - Barcelona

recently spent 4 nights in this hotel, had the relevant research done beforehand so was aware it was a distance from the city. There was no problem, regular bus just outside the door and very cheap fare. staff very pleasant and helpful. Food very good value and quality. staff at reception, in particular, extremely helpful. We forgot to lock our safe […] in bedroom one day, phoned reception from the city, they arranged to get the safe locked and held key at reception for us and all goods intact, very trustworthy. The staff on that hotel are not very friendly and helpfull.I will definitely not recommend the hotel to anybody i know.We are very disappointed on their service.

We just needed a convenient place to stay for our out-going flight the next day, this hotel fit the bill nicely. The shuttle picked us up at the airport withing 30 minutes, check-in was quick and the room was clean. If I had any complaint at all, it was the prices of the food in the restaurant. The location of the hotel is very industrial - no available restaurants in the vicinity unfortunately, but it was only for one night. They give us too much hassle and hard time on our reservation.The staff are friendly and i will not stay to any Best Western Hotel anymore w/ our experience w/ Alfa Aeropuerto Hotel.

There was the convenience of the shuttle from the Airport to the hotel at no charge. The hotel is in an industrial area far from anything and is quite noisy as it is right on the road for the truckers getting onto the main highway to downtown. You have no choice but to eat at the hotel for dinner and found it to be fairly expensive and for early departures, […] the dining room was not open and could not even get a cup of coffee. Difficulty finding the shuttle (that was supposed to pick us up at the airport). Called in advance but still, the hotel desk worker's directions (to locate this shuttle/minibus) were inadequate. We wasted alot of time and became very cranky and physically fatigued looking for the correct minibus pickup location.

This hotel is good for it's purpose as a stopover location when using the airport. The personnel are very friendly and the food and service are good.

The shuttle to this hotel leaves on time every 30 mins. This is great if you MUST be near the airport, however with the Aeroport Bus which takes you quickly into the city for only 5.30 euro's I would recommend staying in Barcelona itself. We found ourselves taking a cab into the city, thereby defeating the cost benefit of staying near the airport.

Good Location,evrything was good except a very unconfortable bed

Room was confortable and good for the price. A little noisy with truck traffic, and remote to places to visit. For an airport hotel it was fine along with free shuttle to and from airport. Had to wait about 20+ minutes for shuttle to pick us up. No problem on way back to airport. All in all, go for it!

The hotel although not accessible by any public transport from the airport, they have excellent free shuttle to hotel. The shuttle was available right outside the arrival terminal. The hotel was nice with friendly staff. The room was cleaned with all the free amenities. Highly recommended.

I stayed here for a stopover and this hotel met my needs beautifully. This is an airport hotel, yes it is in an industrial area, but what airport hotels aren't? The hotel staff is helpful. Poor area, internet not working, public phones not working, parking not free as advertised, just not nice overall. This place wont ever see us again!!!

The hotel was close to the airport but instead of Airplane noise we heard Truck noise fron the truck yard right behind the hotel. The parking payment system did not work nor did the computer in the business center. The place was not as clean as other hotels we had experienced in Spain. This was not a 4 star experience

Difficult to find, even the taxi driver from the airport had problems. On a very noisy truck route, windows could not remain open and AC not turned on in February. Convenient shuttle to airport and food on premises was good.

Very convenient, great coutesy shuttle between the airport., stops every 15 minutes to pick up at designated area., then got me back in plenty of time for my flight., driver very helpful.,

Was really pleased with our stay here. Whilst it is 15 mins from the city centre, the number 21 bus from the bus stop right outside the hotel is very frequent. The free shuttle bus from airport to hotel is a gem. The receptionists were extremley helpful and friendly. Best of all the room was very comfotable and exceptionally clean. Would definitley […] stay here again. One downside if there has to be one? Breakfast is pricey!!! Mehr

Staff gave us our requested wake-up call. Dinning room was did not open til 8:30PM but hotel called a nearby restaurant to see if it was open for dinner earlier for us. Shuttle to airport was on time and service was good.

Excellent spot if you just return from a cruise and want a ride to the airport the next day; it is away from the city but the #21 bus stop takes you for just a minimal fee; not a lot of choices for food around the hotel; the room was very modern and clean; staff very helpful

The Hotel is about an 10min drive from the airport on the Barcelona City side. Taxis have a minimum charge policy of 20Euro to go to the Hotel from the airport. The room was clear and quiet with a great shower. The night porter had fantastic english and was very polite and helpful. It was good value. The hotel (helpful staff, reasonable food, nice smallish room) is in the middle of an industrial zone with no transportation or other points of interest nearby. It is far from the city. Good for an overnight stay close to airport.

If you're only interested in being close to the airport like on your last night in town, then this is your place. The bar is good and the restaurant is excellent. It is not close to any tourist sights, although it is possible to take a bus into Barcelona. This hotel is on the edge of the warehouse/packing district. Traffic is very noisy and starts early […] in the morning. There are no stores or restaurants nearby. Make sure you have everything you need before you get there. However, like I said the restaurant has very good high-end food. We ate there both nights we stayed. One problem we had with the staff. We booked this hotel for one night on Hotels.com and received a decent rate. When we arrived at the hotel we informed the staff that we wished to stay an extra night. They said we had to check back with them the following day at 10am to see if a room was available. When we checked in the next day, they offered us a room at a higher rate, claiming that we couldn't get the same rate we had the night before because we hadn't booked in advance. I feel pretty sure that we would have gotten the lower rate if we had gone back to Hotels.com the previous day. That seemed underhanded to me. Mehr

We stayed overnight for an early flight out the next morning, but got little sleep due to the stench of cigarette smoke and the loud banging of other doors in the building. Granted, the entire floor was marked "non-smoking", but the policy seemed to be unenforced and our room was both smelly from old cigarettes and from current smoke in the air. The […] main doors to the rooms needed the cushioning effect of some rubber insulation or rubber bumpers because the doors made a loud noise even when care was used in their closure. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were adequate and clean. The shuttle left every 45 minutes for the airport....a 15 minute drive. The pick-up FROM the airport was very confusing....a machine with a phone number pad to dial but no handset or instructions. The hotel restaurant opened for dinner service at 8:30 pm so we found a greasy spoon nearby. We would try a different hotel next time. Mehr

The hotel itself very attractive. Service was excellent. Food in the bar bistro well prepared. There is no place else to eat in walking distance The location was difficult to find. GPS coordinates should be given. The shuttle pick up at the airport is only every 45 minutes which is a long time to wait.

great!!!! It was fashionably modern and vey clean.

Indeed it is close to the Barcelona Airport, but not so much as to be comfortable to walk to, especially for an elderly person, or someone who is carrying a big suitcase.

Very Good Service, Nice Eatery. Bathroom Needs More Lighting. Glass Door to Bathroom Means you hear Every Sound made in the Bathroom, and it,s not what you want to hear.

Personalen var lite blase´men gjorde inga fel - fungerade med trp flygplats. Mycket prisvärt rum - men lite lyhört för snarkningar

Parecía que el hotel estaba muy cerca del aeropuerto, pero es un largo trayecto por áreas despobladas. Y no hay ninguna opción para comer o tomar algo fuera del hotel. Hay que caer en el bar del hotel, que tiene pocas ofertas, caras y de poca calidad. De modo que se depende del transfer que ofrece el hotel. Pero cuidado con el horario, pues no funciona […] las 24 horas. La habitación es agradable, bien calefaccionada y la conexión a internet es buena. Mehr

Lentokentalta loytyi hotellin ilmainen bussi muutaman tiedustelun jalkeen eli pysakki G,jonne bussi tulikin melko pian,vain muutaman minuutin odotus.Oli ilta 10 ja 11 valilla,kun lentomme tuli.Matka hotellille kesti ehka 20 minuuttia.Kaikki sujui joustavasti,huoneen vastaanotto yms.Emme syoneet hotellissa,nukuimme yon hyvin matkustuksen jalkeen ja aamulla […] 7 aikaan lahdimme taas bussilla kentalle.Yopyminen sujui hyvin. Como hotel de transición ( de un vuelo a otro) nos ha gustado mucho. El servicio de "shuttle" es un plusmuy apreciable. LAs habitaciones son bastante amplia y agradable. Único problema la paredes que dejan pasar todos los ruidos!!!

A localização do hotel, embora próxima ao aeroporto é num lugar sem qualquer serviço, atividade ou comércio próximo. Parece uma área de entrocamento rodo-ferroviário. O Táxi do aeroporto não sabia chegar no local. As acomodações do hotel, especialmente banheiro e quarto são ótimas. Nas placas o Hotel é "Hotel Alfa".

Emme löytäneet tullessamme bussin lähtöpaikkaa lentokentällä. Otimme itse taksin. Bussikuljetus hotellista lentokentälle sujui hyvin. Hotellin internetsivulle pitäisi laittaa kartta ja selvitys, mistä bussi ottaa lentokoneesta tulijat kyytiinsä.

Goed hotel, uitstekende ligging ten opzichte van de luchthaven en goede luchthavendienst.

The restraunt was never used and there were atleast 30 new people in the hotel that evening.The beds looked old and very poor quality.I slep on top of the bedspread. Hotel was in a comercial district there were no STORES or housing near the hotel;bad location!!!!!!!!!!! 4 sept 2011
