Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig an der Kreuzung Lapalco- Manhattan Bvd. Fahrtzeit ins Zentrum von NO ca 15 Min. (10 Meilen). Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer könnten mal renoviert werden, es gibt Stellen im Zimmer die nicht mehr gereinigt werden können. Enttäuschendes Frühstück, fast nur abgepackte Lebensmittel, Kaffee aus Pappbechern […] (aber gut). Viel zu wenig Sitzplätze im Frühstücksraum. Frühstück nur bis 09:30. Enjoyed the beautiful hotel immensely. Will stay there again when in New Orleans.

This hotel is in good condition, conveniently located to local golf courses and restaurants. The rooms are all arranged around a central courtyard with a pool and jacuzzi, which is convenient when using them but can be a bit noisy until the pool closes at 10pm. Nice location if you had enough fun and want to get away from the chaos from the French Quarter. We went for the French Quarter Festival and had a good time. Large property, nice room.

We had a great stay here. The only problem was on our first attempt to check in. We arrived around 9:00 am and were told that check-in was at 2:00. That was fine because we have a appointment till then. The main reason for stopping early was to ensure we got the type of hotel room we requested. From the pictures listed on the web page, it showed room […] with a couch and some without. I call the number on my fivestar card and talked to a nice young man. I told him I would stay at that hotel if I could get a room with the couch. It put me on hold and called to see. After a minute he told me it wouldn’t be a problem sop we booked. When I got there the first time on the day of check-in I told the clerk just what I explained above. “That we wanted a room with the couch.” She told us that all they had to do was provide a non-smoking room with a king size bed. Period! UI tried to discuss the issue and she would have none of it. I asked if she would make a note of it in her computer but she never confirmed that. Later, at 2:00 we checked in. Went the new clerk gave us our room keys, I asked and found out we didn’t get that type of room. In the hotel defense the new clerk quickly fix the problem and gave us what we wanted. The other clerk didn’t make a note so the second clerk didn’t know. It was a good thing we were there at 2:00 or we may not have got what we asked for. Mehr

We only had one problem. I’ll explain. Before booking I called fivestar to get some information. The issue was the pictures of the rooms. There were some rooms with couches and some without. We were looking for one with (it was what I called about.) The fivestar REP called ahead and talked with someone from the hotel and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. […] With that information we booked. Check-in was a 2:00 but we arrived early (we had a function that was going to take most the day), but I wanted to make sure we got want we asked for we arrived early so there would be no issues. The lady at the desk told us about the check in time (which was fine) and I explained why we were there. She went on to tell me that there was no guarantee we would get a room like I was requesting. I explain how hotel.com had called ahead but she didn’t care. She said all they had to provide was a non-smoking room with a king size bed. I asked her to enter the info into the computer so we could request it at check in and never got an answer back that she would. I wanted to talk about this issue more but she wouldn’t. We went to our appointment and got back at 2:05. There was someone else working desk and she checked us in. Before he headed to the room, I asked if the room had a couch and found that it didn’t. The first lady had not put in anything. The new clerk was kind enough to get us into the right room and we were very grateful. The rest of the stay was perfect. I found the first lady to be rude and didn’t seem to care if we got what we requested or not. The rest of the staff was great. Mehr

Perfectly priced, excelllent breakfast (free), beautiful pool and jacuzzi!

The hotel was nice, but a little too pricey. I expected a more updated hotel for the price I paid. Overall the service was fine, the room was clean but old and a little "used". Neighborhood was great, it had may areas for shopping and eating.

Very nice clean hotel. Staff was pleasant and professional. Nice hot complimentary breakfast. Great location in vicinity of many restaurants and close to freeway.

The Best Western Plus Westbank was a very nice hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were awesome, clean and spacious. The patio and bar area was very nice. I would recommend this hotel when visiting New Orleans. It was close to downtown.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Have stayed here before, and will again. Hot breakfast is a plus!

My husband and I had not been back to the New Orleans area for about 8 years. We were back in town for a friend's wedding. This hotel was located just down the street from our old neighborhood which was very convenient. I was very impressed. The courtyard was pretty and it was nice how all the room doors faced inward towards the courtyard. The lobby […] and rooms looked nicely maintained and new. The cleaning service personnel was available when you needed them and did a nice job with the room. Another plus was that they had a hot breakfast every morning in the cafe. We had a great time catching up with family and friends and enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Westbank. When we go back to visit again we will definitely stay there. Mehr

My wife and I spent the evening in New Orleans the night before we boarded the ship before our cruise. I read the reviews of this hotel and was comforted knowing that others said that it exceeded their expectations…and it did not disappoint! We were very please with the quality of the hotel. The hot breakfast the next morning was very convenient. The staff was much helpful and very polite. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

I had a special request to check out late which did not show up in their system at check-in. My husband and I were extremely tired from a long drive. The hotel staff quickly remedied the issue and sent us off to the room. The gentleman couldn't have been more understanding and accomodating! We found the courtyard pleasing, the room clean and the bed […] was sooo comfortable. Thanks for a nice stay! Mehr

Good place to stay. Very quiet and very clean.

We stayed her for the essence festival and I didn't think the hotel was going to be as nice as it was. I was really impressed with the hotel overall.

The stay was delightful. The surrounding area was very nice and clean. The room was a little small for the price but very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again definately. Hope to get a better rate. Slim SLow Mississippi

Great Location! 15 - 20 minute drive to the French Quarter. Lots of places to eat nearby. Beautiful courtyard and relaxing pool and jacuzzi. 15 minute drive to Navy Base. Great breakfast!

When you walk into the impressive reception area you know your stay here is gona be good, and it was. Good hot breakfast with a great bar & restaurant attached to the Hotel. Drive to Algiers Point & park, then take the free ferry across the river into Nawlins.

The desk staff were friendly and informative. Answered our questions with a smile and were very accommodating to our needs. Our rooms were clean and we received a phone call from the front desk shortly after our arrival to make sure everything was okay and to let us know if we needed anything to let them know. When I return to the New Orleans area, […] unless someone has a place for me to stay for free, I will stay at this hotel again. Mehr

This was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. I initially booked 1 night at this hotel through your site, after realizing I needed extra nights I called the hotel directly a month in advance to inquire about extending my stay. I was assured it would not be a problem. I reminded the employee that my stay was during Mardi Gras […] weekend and I did not want any problems. She echoed the fact that there would be no issue because I would already be in the room. After driving 6 hours to the hotel I check in at night. The staff was very sharp and not courteous at all. I was informed a month earlier I would either need to inform the staff at check in or the next morning that I would be extending my stay. After calling the next morning to extend my stay I was informed that I would have to check out because the hotel was completely booked. I informed the staff that I was assured this would not happen. She called the manager and the manager did come from home and pretended to resolve the issue. Needless to say the manager told me to check out and she would call me after 3:00 to assist me. She called me back only to tell me she apologized and could not help me. Due to other obligations on that Sunday I had to remain in the city. I managed to find a room checking in on Sunday but had to spend the night along with my guests in my car because there was no available hotel on Sat. anywhere in the area, not to mention my room Sunday cost me 3 times the amount of this stay.. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had traveling...and I would recommend never taking the word of a hotel without written or printed confirmation. Mehr

The front desk clerk was extremely rude. When we requested a ground floor room she commented you know you made your reservation on EXPEDIA, as if this was some second class citizen practice. After requesting the manager we did not get any additional assistance. We were assigned a third floor room(the highest in the motel). The room had no towels so […] we had to request them. Since we were late for a ball we had no time to further inspect the room, but upon our return we noticed a large hole in the sheetrock, the sheets and blankets were dirty/dingy, flooring needed cleaning and the shower was mildewed. I would never recommend in anyone to this place Mehr

The only complaint I had about the hotel was that there was only one complete set of towels in the room. Although we went to maintenance regarding the issue, we did not receive new towels until about 30 minutes prior to check-out.

Hotel was great, room was VERY clean. Coutyard was beautiful. Seemed very private- the way the hotel is constructed. My only issue is that I called the front desk for an extra towel, and waited 45 mins without one, so I asked a passing housekeeper- and it even took her another 10 minutes to get it! This is a fantastic and safe hotel. Room doors are inside the hotel. It is right next to a holiday inn-- don't go there. I have been there several times. For the price, this hotel is MUCH better!

double charged for stay.

We were very satisfied with the hotel. The room had everything that we needed including a fridge, microwave, flat screen LCD, and internet connection. The room was very clean, and the staff was nice and very attentive to our needs. The room service was from Copeland's, and exceeded our expectations. The only complaint that we had was the hot tub seemed […] to not be working correctly and the location of the hotel was inconvenient. We also forgot a bag of luggage in the lobby, but the hotel staff got it, and mailed it via UPS and we received it 2 days later. In conclusion, we will definitely choose Best Western again when we travel. Mehr
