Das Four Point bei Sheraton liegt in gut erreichbarer Nähe zum Calgary Airport, wobei man durch eine Sperrung der direkten Anbindung zum Flughafen bis Ende 2013 nicht direkt zum Hotel kommt. Unbedingt den Shuttlebus nutzen! Hervorragender Service des gesamten Personals, wobei insbesondere der Empfang herausgeragt hat. Zimmer sind modern und komfortabel eingerichtet und trotz der Flughafennähe sehr ruhig. Einzig das Frühstücksbuffet präsentiert sich den späten Frühstücksgästen etwas unaufgeräumt. Die Umgebung ist allerdings aufgrund der Flughafennähe unattraktiv, so dass sich das Hotel nur im Zusammenhang mit Ankunft oder Abflug aus Calgary anbietet.

Last week I had to have some surgery and had to stay in the city for 3 days. Some of the staff recognized a medical problem and they were great. The Front Desk called to say if there was anything they could do to make my stay and health better, just to let them know. Even the waitresses asked how I was doing. The Sunday night I arrived ( 11 Dec 11 ) after a 5 hr. drive from Vermilion AB., , the last 2 hrs. thru a snowstorm and poor hi-way conditions from Innisfail to Calgary at 70 kmh was a bit unnerving. The hotel staff upon my arrival were very professional and extremely helpful - but there was a Christmas party going on below my room. ( I was assigned […] room 223 in the Atrium. ) The constant "boom-boom- boom- boom " from the base of the what some people call "music" ( or what I call NOISE ) was vibrating throughout my room. I don't recall what time the noise shut down - but I was tempted to call in a complaint - which I didn't, because I didn't wish to be a Christmas "Grinch " . I had to be up and rolling at 0600 hrs. Monday to teach a course at Calgary Fire Department - suffice it to say I was a bit tired and not performing to my best ability on Monday. I know that this time of the season is important to all, and clientelle at the hotels is important . But if there is a party going on - check with the incoming client and maybe assign them a room far away from the party. The remainder of my stay was great - I look forward to returning in January 2012. Mehr

"Perfect family hotel"
We traveled to Calgary for a family weekend. This hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We stayed on the Atrium side by the small pool. This is perfect for relaxing. The tower side has the water slide and hot tub, noisy but a great slide for kids. The rooms were large. The bathroom tub area was dated, but well maintained. At check in, the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The hotel is on a main roadway so it is easy to access other parts of Calgary. I arrived at 8 pm and went to bed with my wife and 6 months baby girl. At midnight the temperature kept dropping even when the thermostat was at the maximum temperature. I called the front desk several times and there was no answer. I had to put my clothes on and go down to talk to the receptionist. She told me that in that building (Delta Calgary has […] two buildings) there was a centralized heating system (so why do they have a thermostat in the room?!?!?) and maybe I was not getting enough air in my room; she offered a room in the other building. I told her I was not moving to the second building in the middle of the night with a 6 month baby girl; then she offered me an electric heater as big as an iPod... if you head to Calgary; please go to a hotel with a decent heating system. We were put on the 3rd floor with many young hockey players who were roaming the floors noisily until midnight. Finally insisted on changing rooms at midnight and were placed on the quiet 8th floor with breakfast voucher however the room had no tub and I was going to a dance workshop and needed the soak. We stayed at this hotel on thanksgiving long weekend and for the price we paid, we could have stayed at much nicer places. The room was very clean but it is very outdated and gives the feel of uncleanliness. We took the kids to the pool and there was so much clorine in there that our eyes and noses were burning so bad that we had to leave. Stayed during the weekend of Sept 9-11, 2011. Our room was spacious, clean and pleasing to the eye. Our remote was not working, they immediately came and fixed the problem. The staff at the Delta Calgary South were very hospitable and accommodating. Unfortunately I wasn't so luck with the bed. We stayed 2 nights and my back was fairly sore the second morning. A nice hotel at a reasonable rate. Three blocks from C train, bus stop right outside hotel. Easy for visitors to use transit system. Great central location. Rooms were clean and hotel staff was friendly. I will stay here again!

Hotel staff was friendly, check in and out very efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was close to South Centre shopping mall and just off McLeod Tr. We were facing to the south and very quiet.

We choose this hotel, because we got a great last minute deal through hotel.com, otherwise we would have gone with another hotel that we normally go to. We were very pleased with the hotel. Room was clean, very good staff. Only a couple of small issues, TV was fuzzy, desk phone didnt work, pools are a little small for the amount of people. Kids enjoyed the water slide, fitness room was nice. Overall, we would stay again.

"The biggest problem was other guests really"
I didn't spend much time here on my one night stay, but what's always nice to see when you get back to a hotel after dinner is a few empty parking spaces. I found several "empty" parking spaces that inconsiderate other guests had double parked in or left no room for me in my vehicle, which is a small car might I add. Perhaps they should take license […] plates of guests and monitor the parking lot, not a large one so the task is no great inconvenience, then either notify the guests who are inconveniencing others through poor parking habits or bill them additional charges for inconveniences to other guests. Nice, standard hotel. Nothing too fancy or special. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. No issue with traffic noise or noise from other rooms. Free wireless is a nice touch. Service was excellent as we were provided a late check-out with no problems. My only complaint was the price. This is my hotel of choice when traveling to Calgary. Because I drive a larger pick-up truck, parking downtown is expensive and hard to find, and this hotel has plenty of roomy parking that is included.
