Wir waren nur eine Nacht in diesem Hotel, waren aber an sich sehr zufrieden. Vom Hotel aus sind Old Sacramento und das Capitol sehr schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr groß. Das Frühstück war typisch amerikanisch, also eher spartanisch und kein kulinarisches Highlight. While my room was well maintained, clean and the hotel in general was very nice, the hotel lobby overwhelmingly smelled of cigarette smoke, which I believe is a result of the desk managers' smoking inside of the office area. The smoke does not make a good impression upon visitors entering lobby, and unless you are a smoker, no one would want to remain […] in the lobby. Mehr

Choosing this motel was a lucky choice. Everything about it spelled hospitality and comfort. I'd stay there again in a minute. It's close to downtown Sacramento, restaurants are in walking distance, and the neighborhood is quiet --- at least it was on the weekend we stayed.

The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, it was quiet, the staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay here again.

We were able to walk home at the end of the night after bar hopping instead of waiting in the insanely long cab lines. Free parking was a nice change for a Sac hotel. Beds very comfy with LOTS of pillows!

The owners have done a nice job, working with what they had (an old Route 66 type motel.). Hotel has exterior hallways and thin walls. Staff very helpful and pleasant. The location is downtown and only a couple blocks from the capitol building and just a bit more to Old Sacramento. There are excellent restaurants, theaters, and museums within walking distance. This is our fourth stay.

Was hoping it'd be better.

My wife and I (and our Springer Spaniel) really enjoyed spending the night at this hotel. The staff was very warm and friendly. Nearby are numerous sights to see. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, would stay there again!!

Great service and staff. Very nice pool area which is quiet and gets lots of sun during the day. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, the capital and other attractions. I will plan to stay here every time I travel to Sacramento.

Loved our room except the walls are a little thin. You could her the neighbors talking & laughing next door. The pool area was nice. The staff was pleasant. The building felt very secure.

The only thing that we had an issue with was the noise level, not a quite room. But other than that it was a great room.

I go to Sacramento 5 times a year and I have stayed at all Major chains. For the location you cant beat this place. Its centrally located, the metro stops right in front. Short walk from capitol , convention center, and convention hotels. Nice Pool and Great Breakfast.

Selected this location due to its proximity to Old Sacramento and it said two queen beds. They couldn't have been queens and they were not comfortable. Room felt tight. Shower did not drain properly, above ankle pool of water when you showered. Homeless people sleeping in parking garage area. Had two male guests have a massive fight outside our room […] which was scary. There were a couple of pleasant points - night clerk was very friendly and helpful. Next door restaurant and bar was reasonably priced, good food and drinks, and walking distance. Was close to most attractions in Sacramento. However, would pay a little more next time for larger room and feeling of security. Mehr

Close walk to down town for meeting, worked well for me. Room clean and neat.

I needed a place to stay close to a meeting site, and this hotel was close to where I needed to be. The room was quite nice, comfortable, and clean. I only spent one evening, but it was quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. the surrounding neighborhood is typical of any downtown area. I didn't plan on walking around anyway. We just spent two nights here and found every thing to be rated excellent. The room was clean,very comfortable and well appointed. The covered parking with monitored security cameras and one entrance into the building going past the desk clerk was an excellent security idea. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We stayed here for one night and were pretty happy with our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. They let us do an early check in, which was nice. Breakfast was good (waffles, muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee). Not sure why housekeeping started coming around at 8 a.m. on a Sunday -- we had to run over to the door to put […] up the "Do Not Disturb" sign when we they started knocking on doors. Our biggest complaint was the neighborhood. The parking garage was open to the street on both sides and there were people wandering through, which didn't seem very secure. There was also some kind of party going on across the street; not sure if it was a regular bar or just something going on for Halloween weekend, but it was really loud most of the night. My husband grew up in Sac but even he was uncomfortable walking two blocks to grab us something to eat in the evening because of the guys loitering around. The room and service were great for the price; too bad it's not in a better neighborhood, but I guess it would be a lot more expensive if it was! Mehr

Clean, simple, quiet in a downtown setting. Can walk to a park. Sacramento is a tree lined town. The small hotel with a swimming pool in the middle was just what the doctor order for us.

The hotel is in a great location, great food in walking distance, great staff.

Not a place for folks who want luxury accommodations, bu good rates, many helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms and decent location close to capital, museum and downtown restaurants.

Our stay at this hotel was very nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The room for the breakfast was too small for the large crowd that was there using it so we were unable to enjoy breakfast there. But I would stay there again. The convenience and price were just right.

The hotel was incredibly convenient. It was the most reasonably priced hotel I was able to find. I was really pleased. The free wifi was awesome (kinda annoying to have to re-login every time you start up your computer, but they can't do much about that). It was in the heart of downtown, so beautiful, tons to look at. I gave the condition a 4 because […] there was construction at the enterence (not much) and my bathroom door didn't stay shut too well. I gave the neighborhood a 3 because it was slightly "bummy" and Rite-aid and other convenient stores all closed at 5p.m. Even on a Saturday. And there wasn't really any option for food around there. If you're going you should probably bring snacks with you. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Great hotel. Nice staff. Beautiful city. Win. Mehr

Our room was great. The beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to many attractions. However, I would not recommend walking in the downtown area after dark. This is not limited to the area near the hotel, it is the entire downtown and capital area.

Well located hotel with easy access to downtown Sacramento. Room was newly decorated, ample space, and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Free breakfast had a variety of foods such as cereal, toast, waffle machine to make fresh made waffles. Coffee and fruit juices available. Breakfast was a nice perk and saved us money.

Beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable room. Free parking was one of the criteria for selecting this hotel. Great value for the accommodations.

This hotel must have been recently taken over by Best Western - that's the only conclusion I could come to. The room's beds, TV, and furniture were great, but the windows (single pane and noisy), wallpaper, decor were all of a lower standard. This includes all of the rest of the hotel. However, something tells me they are reaching for a higher standard […] - the front desk staff were great! You'll be happy when you lay down to sleep in the comfy beds and comforters, though, and I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and its location - just a caveat as to appearances. Mehr
