Best Western Coronado Motor Hotel - Yuma

I would definitely stay there again. Very comfortable bed and nice to have a served breakfast in the morning.

I've stayed at the Coronaso in the past but the last rime was about 5-6a years ago. The facility waa OK thwn, but it has neen significantly updated since while retaining all of it's western 1950s charm. I viait my brother eveey ywar at his nuraing home, and aa long as there is a draw in Yuma I will be staying at the Coronado.

Live in Vegas- it was good to get away for the weekend. Rooms were kinda small, but loved the design of hotel. Also liked how the continental breakfast is actually at a sit-down restaurant. Nice place to stay. A little noisy because of neighboring rooms but otherwise acceptable. Best part was the breakfast that was included in the stay. It was outstanding. All staff very friendly and helpful!

Located on a very busy downtown street, with serious water dept digging late at night which we were not informed of in advance. Not sure why Hotels.com would not list better hotels in the Yuma area! This was the best rated hotel in their listings, but clearly not the best hotel in town.

Reasonable rate and comfortable lodging. No complaints.

Older model hotel but well maintained with remodeled rooms. Very clean.

after reading the reviews decided to stay for the weekend of the car show.the room was clean although small and i didnt think the office being on the otherside of the highway would be a problem.i was wrong,forget crossing on a buisy sat.afternoon which i needed to due twice.the staff forgot or decided not to clean our room saturday and it took an hour […] and a half to get additional soap and coffee sent over from the office.the faucet on the sink only produced very hot water.when you have an older cramped motel with no on site restaurant all you really have to offer is service.lacking that what ? Also put some weather stripping around the door,you'd be surprised how that helps with dust and noise. Mehr

Older hotel, but very well cared for. We had two minor complaints that were addressed immediately; the staff was excellent. Location is on 4th Avenue, which is the Business I-8 route. There was traffic noise that eased as it got later. Location was just blocks from Old Main Street and the Territorial Prison State Historic site. There was no WIFI in our room although there was a rj45 plug that worked sometimes.

Only two things that we were not happy about. #1 Was the noise level from street, sounded like the vehicles were driving into the room. #2 parking was not easy to find a spot . The noise could be helped with double pane windows. We love the bed, kitchen, and ease of getting to hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The complementary breakfast at the resteraunt Next door makes BW my top pick for Yuma. The spacious rooms are great as well.

Our room was in one of the older buildings. It was very clean, but small. The complimentary breakfast in the restaurant across the street was great.

There were 5 adults that totally staying at the Hotel. The breakfast at the near by restaurant was beyond our expectations. The location in Yuma was right off Interstate 10 so it was really convenient. Also downtown was a hop skip and a jump down the road. We will return again. Our small dog enjoyed her stay too.

Fantastic deal. An old fashioned, stucco-spanish "motor inn." Great free breakfast at a nearby restaurant, friendly helpful staff, good location, clean and well kept. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We were here Nov 2011 and again Jan 2012. Very attentive staff, clean room and comfortable. We will stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. We were going to the dunes so it was a good location. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will come again.

We were so impressed at the condition and well maintained standards of the hotel. It was clean, quiet, and the breakfast was way more than we expected. The owners obviously have a great deal of pride in their property.

Toilet would not flush

The front desk young woman went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable with our accommodation. The historical downtown location fit our itinerary. It was easy to get to other parts of Yuma as well as Mexico. The hot breakfast was made to order. We extended our stay another day. A good choice.

I walked into the room and the bed was unmade. It is right on the street.

Pleasently suprised...older motor lodge which has been updated with care. In room frig, micro, coffee pot. Very comfortable.

It offered a full breakfast with only two selections to choose from. If you wanted additional items you had to pay for it.

this was a nice motel, just a few blocks from the interstates. the room was very nice and clean. you get vouchers for breakfast at the local resturant down the road, a choice of sausage or bacon with egg and grated fried potatoes OR a small box of cereal, both served with ONE slice of toast, with a choice of tea, coffee or OJ. any extras you could buy. […] we enjoyed our stay and WOULD return again. This hotel is great, especially for the money. The only downfall was that the A/C in room didn't really get the room cool enough for me. Breakfast was terrific, and the room was clean.

I chose this hotel for my family going by other peoples experience and price. Ya'll got this one dead wrong. Diamond in the rough my eye. This place should be set on fire and rebuilt in a safer area. The rooms were old and smelled of cigarettes and old booty. The door had crowbar marks and it looked as though bullet holes may have been repaired and […] painted over. If I had one of those special body fluid identifying lights, the room would have been covered. I'm sure this place was in an episode of forensic files. Not for the faint hearted or children. The room was great. I especially liked the towels folded as swans---it was great. The room was clean, the bed great, the pool was nice. The only real downside was the free breakfast. It was served at the Yuma Landing and you had your choice of two eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns and toast or kiddie cereal. That was it. I was ready to kill for some […] fresh fruit or yogurt by the second day. But the hotel was nice and I would stay there again on my next trip to Yuma. Mehr

Great place to stay. Room's clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Coupon's for breakfast. The Bar and Grill next door was very convenient. Will recommend it to other's.

The main problem with this hotel is that the hotel lobby and pool are not accesable from the quest rooms. You must walk out to the street and use the street sidewalk to get to the lobby and pool. Also, there really is not a spa. They have a portable plastic hot tub.

The room was very small but it was clean. I liked in room internet and full breakfast at restaurant across the street. The motel staff was friendly and helpful. I would prefer a larger room. The location was OK.

Having just been on a trip (air flight, car rental, hotel rental, etc.), we felt we needed to economize a little on this trip to Yuma. After reviewing the price, the amenities, and reviews, we decided to try Best Western Coronado. It was a good choice for us. It offered clean facilities, good service, polite and helpful employees, a comfortable bed, […] a large-sized TV, a small refrigerator, and a nice place to relax in between visits to the hospital to visit my brother. The free, full breakfast at the Yuma Landing restaurant was an added bonus. The meals were delicious and the service was great--particularly Sylvia, our waitress! We will probably stay there again when we are in Yuma! Mehr

The motel is spread out over two blocks with a pool for each area...so the pools are not jammed. Nice quiet area,with windows that open for fresh air. Great place.

The retro exterior of this property was very inviting--white adobe, turquoise doors, tile roof and bouganvilla. It had a very nice restaurant nearby which we did really appreciate. However, there was a family that was outside our window with a barking dog and it did bark continally. Even in the room it barked non stop. The manager was polite and we didn't want to complain, yet surely someone would have heard the continual barking and should have done something […] about it. The motel is a conglomeration of several adjacent older classic main drag motels, now all owned and operated as a single property. Everything we saw was in tip-top shape, clean, upgraded and well maintained. The rooms included a flat screen TV and dvd player. The supplied breakfast was provided at their restaurant across the street. A good idea, there […] really wasn't anyplace at the various units that could have handled the volume. Only a few blocks from the Territorial Prison and Quartermaster Depot museums, which may be the only real attractions in Yuma. Our room was quiet, even though the property was almost full, and the street was relatively busy. The property restaurant looked like it was a good place for lunch and dinner. Located on the site of the first airplane landing in Yuma, it was a mini-museum of Yuma history. The little Mexican restaurant across the street was very good and authentic food. The desk recommended it, but thought it was a little pricey. Compared to most fancy Mexican places it was reasonably priced and very good food. Lots of locals were there which is a very good sign for any ethnic food. We would have liked to stay in the oldest portion because you just don't see that many of that vintage and design that are in operation and good condition, and we like things of the days gone by. The motels of like vintage in El Centro, Indio and Barstow are not places that you would want to stay in. Mehr

Oldeer but well kept. Breakfast was at a nearby resteaurant and was good. Lots of road noise on busy road. Missed house keeping one day and didn't get room make up. It was all right.
