"Convenient location but older hotel"
We stayed here for one night while we did some shopping at the outlet stores. It was a very convenient location, right off the highway and minutes from the stores. Also just a few minutes from Bronner's Christmas store. The bathroom in the room was extremely small and there was barely enough room to move, plus the lock didn't work on the door. We stayed […] in one of the rooms outside of the main building which meant that we had to go outside and walk across the parking lot just to get ice from the ice machine. It would have been very inconvenient if it had been raining. They offered a complimentary breakfast in the morning but there was never enough available. When I got there most items were gone or very few left. There really didn't seem to be anyone keeping on eye on it to ensure there was enough food. Mehr

"good location.....great price, but a little lackin"
It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was very clean. The beds were a little below par. My bed at home is more comfortable. At little disappointed with the beds. The breakfast was a little to be desired. Very little choice, and inconvenient, but the price for the hotel was great. So maybe you can't have a great price and a good […] breakfast was well??? "Good hotel for low price."
I would definitely stay here again. When first arriving, we though it might be a dive, but we were pleasanly surrprised. It was well maintained and had very friendly staff. It was a very good price and right next to Birch Run Outlet Mall. It was also very close to Frankenmuth. The breakfast was very good, although it was somewhat crowded. This was a nice place to just spend the night. The room was not the greatest I have been in but it suited its purpose. The hotel offers a bar/restaurant which is WONDERFUL. Good food and well priced.

I have stayed here twice now. The rooms were comfortable, the lobby is nice, the pool was great for the kids, and had a colorful light that changed under the water. There was also a giant video game room. Breakfast was great, waffles with every topping you could desire. They only need more ice machines.

"Birch Run Best Western good choice for a budget"
we stayed here for a girls shopping weekend- there where 3 adults with a 2 year old, we found our room comfortable- perhaps a little small, but we didn't spend much time in it- we didn't realize that we had book an outside room, it would have been nicer to have an inside unit with the little one, breakfast was good, it would be helpful to have a list […] of what the ingredients in the foods where because we had people with food allergies in our group,the staff was very pleasant and helpful- this hotel served our purpose and budget- we where not looking for a 5* location, and although there was a pool and hot tub we didn't make use of it, partly because it was full of a lot of excited teenage cheerleaders, and second we didn't have time- just to note the cheerleaders where NOT a problem. very polite young ladies. one person from our group did try the hot tub, but the heater wasn't working very well, and after being well use earlier in the evening, the water temp. was cool. If you are looking for a clean comfortable reasonable priced hotel very close to shopping, not planning on spending lots of time in your room, I would say to give it a try, but if you want a 5* resort, then you better plan on paying for it some where else- if you have an open mind and except that you get what you pay for you should enjoy your stay Mehr

We checked in about 3 p.m. with no problems but the desk clerk neglected to inform us about the manager's reception being held from 5 -7 p.m.

Very nice place to stay ; close to the outlet mall . Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room next to us was very loud one night but there wasn;t much anyone could do about it. The staff did tell us they were sorry , Would stay there again.

"Close to Premium Outlet"
Average Hotel, close to shopping and Frankenmuth. Breakfast was skimpy to say the least. ran out of batter for waffles, ran out of cups for juice, ran out of cups for coffee, they did replenish but don't think anyone was keeping an eye on things. Not much selection even for a continental breaky. But clean and sufficient for our needs.
Our room was very nice, however we would have appreciated a microwave oven and the breakfast was just "so so " and appeared to be very unorganized. We did like the other amenities, however. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Don Frazier

"Perfect Spot for shopping......."
Within easy reach of the Birch Run outlets and 'Bronners' fabulous Christmas store ! We spent several days there and had a great time. Lots of close restaurants and the hotel had a wonderful free breakfast every day! Great selection.

The location right by the highway exit was great. The place was okay as far as being clean. NO elevator to 2nd floor. One bed was a little hard and the other was way soft as I sunk down. Not many channels to view other than news and money. Bathroom was like so small and tight. But price was good. Breakfast was okay, ran out of waffle mix, attendant […] busy someplace else and NO fresh fruit and warm milk was terrible. The one thing that really bothered me, is there was NO elevator. I have had both hips replaced and it was very difficutl to get my belongings to the second floor. One of the lamps on/off switch was broke so we couldn't turn that lamp on and it was a bit dark in there.

Hotel was clean, close to outlet mall-about 5 miles to Frankenmuth(Bronners on the way).Complimentary breakfast was one of the best we have experienced. Seperate waffle area and well stocked with fruit,different syrup flavors,whipped cream etc.Several waffle makers, so no waiting.

We spent one night at the Best Western in Birch Run and found the staff most helpful and friendly. We enjoyed happy hour in cosy surroundings and the breakfast was great too. I would have prefered a regular knife and fork rather than plastic, I understand why we had plastic but it was difficult to cut the delicious waffle with the plastic.

Over all the hotel was very clean friendly but when it came to the breakfast in the morning things changed. The floor around the counter was sticky from customers dropping waffle batter on the floor, no coffee in the main eating area i would have liked fresh fruit in stead of fresh/frozen

The hotel is in the perfect area for the traveling shopper; situated mintues away from Premium Outlets, a Meijers, and numerous restaurants, this hotel is perfect for a quick stay! The room was clean and perfect; the hotel staff were polite and very helpful. I would certainly stay there again!
"No Ice"
The only issue we had was that the night we arrived there was no ice in the ice machine. There was also no ice the next morning again no ice.
Had a problem with the toilet.....hotel staff responded immediately and efficiently. Excelllent service and recovery!! Staff was thoughtful, kind and made my wife and I feel very welcomed. Will be back again when we visit Frankenmuth.

loved the location of the motel ! 3 minutes from the outlet mall and restaurants. Wasn't to pleased with the shower head in the shower. If you have long hair... be prepared to spend a lot of time rinsing out the shampoo. It's a water saver shower head and takes forever! Bed was ok... wasn't my own and the pillows... didn't love them!
