Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf - Boston

In Laufentfernung zum Zentrum, mit gut ausgestatteter Küche und reichhaltigem Frühstücksbuffet haben wir unseren Aufenthalt in Boston genossen. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Ausziehsofa war zum Schlafen sehr unbequem. Unsere Kinder mußten dort schlafen, da für einen Erwachsenen mit höherem Gewicht die Spiralen zu sehr in […] den Rücken drückten. Für 4 war auch der Esstisch zu klein und es gab nur zwei Essstühle plus ein Schreibtischstuhl. Kinder zahlen nichts extra, aber wenn nicht alle sitzen können, ist das schon etwas blöd. Trotzdem hat der Pool und das wirklich sehr reichhaltige Buffet uns entschädigt und wir waren recht zufrieden. Sich selber kochen zu können finden wir immer hilfreich. Läden gibt es in Laufentfernung. Zum Zentrum (Quincy Market) läuft man etwa 15 Minuten. Es gibt auch eine Busverbindung über die Brücke - wir sind aber immer gelaufen (trotz Blizzard), da die Wartezeit auf den nächsten Bus länger als die Laufzeit war. Der Busplan von Boston ist etwas schwieriger zu verstehen als der Subwayplan. Mit etwas Einlesezeit versteht man es aber und beim Bus sieht man viel. Mehr

Das Frühstück war für US-Verhältnisse besonders gut. Hotel fußläufig zentrumsnah, auch zur U-Bahn und zum Freedom-Trail. Die Lage am Hafen gab einem das Gefühl von Urlaub.

The front desk service was nice and courteous. My friend got a headache in the middle of the night and the front desk was nice enough to give her medicine from a personal stash (as there was no way to go out and buy something unless she drove). We get to Boston once a year to catch a Celtics game. The location of this hotel, a 5 minute walk to the TD Garden makes it a perfect place to stay. Add the lovely view of the marina & the excellent breakfast buffet makes this hotel a 15 on the scale of 1-10. The staff is courteous & attentive, the room clean & comfortable. Great hotel for TD Garden events and easy access to all Boston has to offer. Nice neighborhood, pleasant staff, clean rooms and pretty decent breakfast buffet.

We were able to walk to the subway station from the hotel, awesome location.

Excellent pet friendly hotel. The park 100ft from the hotel is the neighborhood dog park with lots of dogs to play with. Cab to qincey market was about $7 or a 20min walk.

there is not much else around this hotel. wished i wouldnt have stayed here. staff was very nice though.

I stayed here with two other family members - all adults. We had the one bedroom suite - harbor view. The staff is excellent; quite friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and very well maintained. The breakfast buffet has a variety of foods so no one should leave hungry! We were in town to (1) sightsee; (2) attend a Red Sox game; and (3) attend a […] Patriots game. The hotel is a short walk (5-10 mins max) across the bridge from the Old North End. and is 1 block off the Freedom Trail. The North Station (subway and rail) is also right across the bridge, as is the Gahden. We did a LOT of walking during our stay but taxis were always available when we did decide to ride. The subway system is very user-friendly. The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is because there isn't much in the way of restaurants on the hotel side of the Charles River aside from a restaurant right at the foot of the bridge on the hotel side, as well as an ice cream shop. You really have to go across into the Old North End or into downtown Boston. But again, there are literally dozens of restaurants right across the river and within 2-3 blocks of the foot of the bridge. Oh, the neighborhood around the hotel seemed to be a safe area. It was clean, well kept, almost quaint. Tip: Boston is a walking city. Bring comfortable shoes. Also, if you are thinking of climbing the Bunker Hill monument, do so on your last day, cuz if you do it before then, you won't want to do anything else. Ha! Mehr

I needed a hotel in the Charlestown area and it was very convenient. It satisfied all my requirements for safety, cleanliness and location. As far as ambiance, elegance or romantic, not sure it was the very best.

Everyone at this hotel rocked! Everyone went above and beyond for us. Our 1 yr old had a total melt down at 1am and instead of us having to go out and get the milk we needed they provided it for us and told us if we need anything else to just let them know. They gave us a late check out time (later than I exprected or asked) so our little one could […] get a nap before having a 5 1/2 hour flight back home. Wilder the valet was awesome and gets a special shout out. He had our car waiting for us the day we were checking out and even had it started and cooling down so the little one didn't have to get in a hot car. This review is relative to a summer stay - late sunset. I have been to Boston many times; would recommend this location and hotel. Next to the USS Constitution complex. Short walk over the Charlestown bridge to North Station T, North End irish and italian restaurants and onto Fanuel Hall and the State House. Quiet safe hotel. Excellent svc. So close to TD Garden!! Not too far of a walk to Quincy's Market. Beautiful view, cheap overnight parking nearby. Great staff. Clean room. Good pool but hot tub was lukewarm. Would definitely stay again!!

I stayed at the Marriotts hotel for a week in April and throughly enjoyed my stay. We had several incidents in our room, hairdryer and WC. I phoned down to Reception and they immediately came to our room in a few minutes with no questions asked. The reception staff seemed very attentive and friendly and nothing too much of a problem. Right by the T and the TD Bank arena, we were able to take a quick train to Fenway in the morning and come home for the Celtics game at night. Close to great restaurants and very nice area.

The Residence Inn was perfect for our family's recent stay in Boston. It was within walking distace of The North End and the Freedom Trail ran right past the hotel. In addition, there was a T Station right across the bridge, so getting around town was easy. I recommend this hotel for families who do not want to rent multiple rooms.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nightsand it was perfect for our needs. We took the blue line subway from the airport and transferred to the orange line and got off at north station. From there it was a 15 min walk to the hotel. The room had a separate sitting area, kitchen and bedroom. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well prepared. […] The small pool and jacuzzi was a welcomed relief after walking all day. The surrounding area was lovely; we walked about 1/2 mile to Warren Tavern for a nice dinner. Bunker Hill monument was lit up and we were right next to the USS Constitution. Parking was pricey at the hotel (which is why we didn't rent a car) but there was a lot next to the hotel that was cheaper. Overall, this hotel was well worth the price. Mehr

Walk to dinner in the Northend. Take a ferry ride along the waterfront to the Aquarium /Market Hall area for the cost of city bus fare. I have lived in and visited Boston for years but have never seen the City like this. Very convenient, family friendly, with novel transport options.

Great location, in a great City. Nice rooms, great breakfest. Valet parking expensive, but hard to find in beantown.

I stayed in this hotel with two other adults and twin babies. I found the room very accomodating for such a large group and very child safe. No sharp edges on the furniture and the staff were very friendly. The concierge even lent me her car seats from her car so I could travel with my kids. They gave me cribs at no extra charge. our room was a suite with a queen bed and main room with a pull out couch. Bed was top notch! pull out couch was not so great but to be expected. view from room was top notch. be sure to ask for a water view. breakfast was great with a good selection. room nice and quiet. on sight parking is a little high. plus you will fill guilty if you don't tip […] attendant. but over all a great experience! was in boston just for the night. i went to see bon jovi. The hotel was great. close to everything. in walking distance of the td gardens. the hotel was clean. i would stay here again if i'm in boston again.

We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! The hotel was very clean, bright and welcoming. The amenities were so convenient, we loved the pool and gym room, the kitchen was extremely well equiped, the room spacious and clean, the bed and hide-a-bed couch comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful! Efficient. Nice free "dinner" spread every day late (MON-THU) afternoon - good selection of food and "on the house". If you drive, inexpensive parking adjacent, free behind hotel in city owned lot and also valet parking. Nice staff and roomy rooms w/ free wi-fi Can highly recommend this hotel next to a nice marina

This is a great hotel that is in great location that is convienently located in the city. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody coming to Boston. The hotel is clean and nice with a good staff. The hotel is within walking distance to fine Italian restaurants, historical sites and shopping areas such as the Constitution Fanuiel Market and South Market. The best part is a complimentary hot breakfast served by super helpful staff. My 3-year-old had the stomach flu and we did not make it to the breakfast in time ( before 10 am). Hotel and service were great. But a minimum $10 taxi to restaurant, each way. $20+ to airport.

Make sure you have the key to your room before enjoying Boston otherwise you might find your room has been sold.

Costs alot - all downtown Boston hotels do Parking was quite a bit additional Location not optimal (not bad either) Pool and hot tub were nice Room too small for the money Room was quiet, relatively clean Breakfast was great, but again, not the value for the money

This is a great hotel for the whole family. So very close to the Freedom Trail. Great location for kids. Would certainly return for another visit.

The location was convenient to the North End of Boston and to the "T"'. We left our car in the very expensive valet parking ($32/day) and either walked or took the T. The 1 bedroom suite was comfortable for ourselves with our adult daughter. The sofa bed could have been improved with at least a mattress pad as the mattress was barely 2 inches thick. Panoramic views across Boston and the Charles River, close to the T, yet convenient for many of the attractions that Boston has to offer, especially the Italian area. Spacious suite with kitchen area meant I felt quite at home during my one week stay. Have stayed here before.
