Friendly desk staff and servers. Tiled showers and granite vanity were nice touches.

All the staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable. We like the double sink vanity, and my husband who is 6'4" really appreciated the tall shower heads. haha We also loved the fitness/pool area and locker rooms were great. We'll be back in the spring to enjoy the grounds, all the surrounding nature was so pretty. Not […] like the busy concrete city we're use to. Only minus was the location made it kind of hard to find once we turned onto Jorie rd. I wish they had bigger readable signage. Overall we enjoyed our short weekend getaway :) Mehr

Once again, via hotels.com, I got a room with what has to be one of the worst views in the hotel. Although they had several open parking spaces, when I pulled up after a meeting in the middle of the day, the valet insisted that I couldn't park in one of them and would have to park across the street (or pay him $8). . .nice. The Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook is very charming and comfortable in a wonderfully secluded location . The workout facilities, especially the pool and locker rooms, are truly a joy to use. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing get-a-way.

Upon my arrival, I was surprised to be greeted by the "golden arches" on the hotel entrance sign. The Hotels.Com site should clearly state that this resort is part of the McDonald's corporate headquarters campus. It was a bit of a turn off.

I had a nice relaxing stay. The pool and spa are great, nice neighborhood with parks and lakes. My room was not 100% clean - there was a candy next to my bed - apparently from the previous guest...

Clean, quiet hotel "hidden" in office park setting. Close to shopping in Oak Brook. A short ride to the city for downtown shopping & site seeing. Great stay.

The only service that I would recommend is its pool. Clean and free. Except that, the location and the room facilities of the hotel are not recommended. The TV is in poor condition; no bath place in the room; furniture such as desks and night stands are far from a 4-star standard. The food in the hotel is not expensive, though.

This was an outstanding stay. The service of the staff is overwhelming. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Had a great time and cant wait to come back again

The lodge is located in a great location. Went for a convention so it was close enough to Chicago. It was so relaxing. If you have a chance to stay at this lodge go for it.

I selected this hotel, based on high rating by hotels.com customers. When I got to hotel, they told me all king size rooms are sold out and I have to stay in a room with double beds. Clearly that was not acceptable to me so I insisted in getting a room with king size bed. After talking with manager, they found a room. I read a lot about great view you’ll […] have in their room, however to my surprise, I got a room with storage view! The room small window was opening to cleaning storage room with bunch of junk around it. Clearly I was very disappointed. I called front desk again and this time I insisted in talking to general manager. They told me he’s not in, however, they’ll look to see if they can find another room. After 10 minutes, they send me to another room, with king size bed and better view. So after lots of aggravation (2 hours), I finally got the room that I paid for it in the first place. I don’t know what the deal was, however, clearly they had room available and they refused to give it to me first time. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone and in future, I won’t stay in hotel that is owned by McDonald and run by Hyatt. Mehr

The hotel is nice and great the only problem is the parking is too far from the entrance of the hotel and its hard especially if you have children that need to carry. One thing is there is no free internet you need to pay it separately w/c we didnt expected but everything is nice for 1 night experience.

The hotel is beautifully situated in a largely wooded area giving the feeling of being completely away from the rigors of the city. We found it restful and peaceful, with all amenities located within the hotel. I would definately return.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Great walking trails. Nice pool. Very relaxing respite in the middle fo a busy city.

Attended wedding at restaurant. Balcony overlooking lake was very nice. Food good. Hotel room clean and comfortable. There are trails and lakes all around the hotel. Great for a relaxing walk. Restaurant a little pricy for breakfast and no free coffee in the lobby. Other than that, the stay was great.

We arrived later in the evening and incredibly tired from a day in Chicago, however from the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted with great warmth and professionalism. The room was absolutely perfect, everything looked brand new. All of our questions regarding directions were answered immediately and completely. Staff was very attentive -- except for room service. Shortly after my arrival, I spilled some salad dressing all over one of the beds. I flagged down a nearby maid and she fixed it quickly and with a smile on her face. (Even though I'm sure she had just made up the bed a short time before I made a mess.) For starers, I found this hotel initially by accident using priceline, but we enjoyed it so much we have started requesting it on hotels.com. It is a bit hard to find, as there are no signs referring to the Hyatt, it is only labeled The Lodge. The signs are also small and unobtrusive and not lit... That is the ONLY problem we have had the three times […] we have stayed here however. The Gym is perfectly clean and modern, the spa is small but pleasant, the rooms are feng shui approved. Best of all are the massive bathrooms and walk in showers. It is much cleaner and nicer than any Hilton I have ever stayed in. The property is gorgeous with a lake next to the hotel and balconies you can eat dinner on overlooking the lake. There are jogging trails and paths all over the property and the grounds are well maintained. Mehr

If you are planning a trip to the western suburbs, consider this gem. They have recently updated much of the hotel and it sits in a wonderful, tranquil section of Oak Brook. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unless you valet, there is a short walk from the hotel's parking lot.

The room was comfortable and clean. When I spilled some salad dressing on the bed shortly after my arrival, the maid was more than willing and very nice about remaking a bed she had probably made just an hour ago. Had a hard time getting room service to respond. I tried 3 times over the course of about 30 minutes and though I let it ring a very long […] time each time, it was not until I called the front desk and complained that room service finally responded. (My meal was excellent and delivered "on time.") Mehr

We had a wonderful time. You would never believe that you were in Oak Brook! The hotel staff was very friendly and the grounds were beautiful! I definitely go back.

The Lodge is a great spot for a stayaction if you're local to Chicago. Secluded, near shopping & dining, four star accomodations around 30 minutes from the city...a very special place.
