"near public transport, spectacular view over Tokyo"
We stayed in the Park Hotel Tokyo for 4 days and after a roundtrip in Japan again for 3 days. We felt at home and comfortable. Very nice and helpful personnel, modern and clean hotel. We would always come again. Two negative points: breakfast was ok but not compelling and opening hours of restaurants were too short (last order 9 pm).

"An oasis of calm"
This really is an island of calm amongst the hustle of Tokyo. Rooms are a wee bit on the snug side, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast, drinks and restaraunts are not cheap!
"Park Hotel Tokyo"
Convenient hotel but more a business based location. Room was small but very comfortable for 2 - I was traveling with my daughter. Close to Tokyo metro and walking distance to Tsukiji fish markets for a great early morning adventure!
"Great service and high quality!"
This is a super impressive hotel in a location close to a Tokyo metro station and the Tsukiji fish market. Great rooms, the shower heads were a bit annoying...but everything was stellar otherwise. The taxi drivers sometimes confused it with the Royal Park Hotel, but they usually figured it out after the fact and drove us for free.
"Good Price, Good Location, Good Find"
The Shiodome Park Hotel sits on Floors 25-32 of the Shiodome Media Tower, within a short walk of the Ginza (fancy shopping district), the Tsukuji Fish Market (large and very interesting wholesale and retail fish market), and the Shimbashi train station. If you love to eat fish, go to the fish market and see how this fish-centered country does it. Plan […] on spending a day on sites within walking distance, and then pick a location anywhere in the city, get on a train, and go. You can get anywhere in Tokyo from Shimbashi station. If you have time for only one day trip, go to Kamakura, less than an hour away by train, and rivaling the city of Kyoto in terms of Temples and beautiful city walks and gentle mountain trails. We got a great rate on our room at the Park through Hotels.com. Breakfast in the hotel is a buffet, and reasonable in price as hotel breakfasts go. There is a Starbucks in the lower level of a building right across the way if you need one. The room was well-appointed, the shower pressure was great and the shower/bath water was nice and hot. The bed was kind of hard ... a mattress on a board, instead of on a box spring, but otherwise comfortable, and service was very nice. Mehr

"Park Hotel Tokyo - Shiodome"
Great location. Very easy to get to Shiodome and Ginza subway lines. Same view as Tokyo Tower (don't waste your money!) Concierge was so helpful. Only issue was that our room smelled a bit. Not sure if it was the people before us or the hotel itself. The lobby is magnificent and you could relax there for a drink before going out. Shiodome area is easily […] accessible to most of Tokyo - would definitely consider staying here if you are not into the party scene (Shinjuku or Shibuya) - Ginza is the Rodeo Drive / 5th Ave section of Tokyo. It's the financial district as well - super quiet on weekends. Mehr
"Nice hotel, nice location, nice service staff"
The Park Hotel was a wonderful hotel. From the moment we checked in we felt welcomed and received excellent service. The wi-fi router provided free of charge gave us access to the internet, we had a nice view of Tokyo Bay and the nearby park, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby as well as train lines. I would recommend this hotel to others […] . Mehr
"Great location inner quiet"
A fantastic location well serverd by transport links. The hotel itsefl is a sanctury of peace and quietness - a real change from the hectic apce of full-on Tokyo just a few 25 floors below. Plenty restraunts and shopping within easy walking distance. And of course a few minutes walk to the fish market for when you fancy the early 4am start!
"Convenient and nice"
This hotel is very central to most things in Tokyo and is very easy to navigate to the public transportation. They are located right next to a monorail line which can take you to Odaiba Island (a great side trip, especially on the weekend when there were cultural activities/performances going on). Also connected by underground passage ways are to some […] subway lines and JR station. The underground passage ways may take some getting used to for navigating, but it's not too bad after the first day. Our view from our room (all start above the 25th floor) was very nice, overlooking the city skyscape and train station. The room was clean and modern, with more than enough plug outlets for all our rechargable American gadgets. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful; many speak English well. I did not buy the available breakfast offered. Mehr
"good value for the price paid"
Although location is not in the center of activity both metro (Ginaza line) and JR lines are near enough to walk . Hotel is surrounded by office buildings and the best way to get around is via the interconnected skywalks. Plenty of tourist type restaurants nearby but very little authentic Japanese food. Hotel room is small by US standards but larger […] than most in Japan at this price point. Staff is very helpful and friendly and will show you how to find any tourist destination. There is a high end restaurant in the hotel but we did not partake as we had other restaurants to try. Good value for the money - especially in high priced yen! Mehr
"Park Hotel Tokyo"
Excellent hotel with fantastic views over the city from the lobby and rooms. really friendly and helpful staff.

Very comfortable modern hotel . We stayed for 4 days and found it reasonably close to Shinbashi JR train station and the subway station.
"Park Hotel Tokyo"
The Park Hotel made my first trip to Japan a comfortable one, and I was astounded by the level of care and kindness that all the employees showed. Their politeness and courtesy went beyond their work duties, as multiple employees offered help finding places that I needed to go each time I approached the elevator. The great thing was that I never needed […] to ask for help; people just seemed to know that I needed assistance. The interior of the hotel was excellent, with each nook and cranny kept clean and tidy. The design and shape of the hotel and the rooms gave the whole place a feeling similar to home. I was thoroughly impressed with the Park Hotel Tokyo and recommend it to anybody who is planning to stay in Japan. Mehr
"Nice Hotel"
We booked our hotel close to the last minute and were luckily able to get a spectacular price which was much better than the hotel's own rate. This hotel is in what seems to be a business district. It is within walking distance of the Fish Market, a typical tourist location in Japan, and also within a few minute walk to the local subway (all by raised […] sidewalks on the 3rd floor so you don't have to go to the street and you have a nice view). You can also walk to the JR (Japan Rail) train by raised sidewalk and in only a few minutes. Other than the fish market there aren't really any other tourist attractions in this area, but as the subway and JR trains are close by, it makes it easy to get to anyplace in Tokyo or other cities by JR. The hotel's lobby is on an upper floor, not on the ground floor. The lobby is modern and has a great view as you are checking in. It is part of a large central atrium that looks up to the sky. It was rather impressive. The rooms are decent sized, clean and modern. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English fairly well. They have a concierge desk that was able to help us with information to certain locations. This hotel is connected at the basement level to the hotel next door (Conrad) and there is a shopping center with some stores and restaurants within the connected area. It makes it convenient (within a fairly short distance) to go for a meal or to do some simple shopping. I would stay at this hotel again. Mehr
"Nice hotel with outstanding customer service"
We were hoping for a larger room for the price we paid, but recognize that Tokyo hotel rooms are smaller by western standards. Customer service was outstanding. The hotel was nice enough to hold our baggage and baby stroller/car seat at no charge for 12 days while we went to another part of Japan. Really liked the atrium but didn't like the cigarette […] smoke as we have a 1-year old girl. Note that there are some areas in Tokyo where smoking is permitted indoors. Mehr
"Park Hotel Tokyo"
We booked this hotel by viewing reviews. It was great location for sightseeing in Tokyo. We were satisfied with the Hotel service and quality. We definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Top hotel, great location."
Title says it all. The only negative point I would have to say is that the prices of food and drink are touching on the excessive side. But, other than that splendid.
"Hip, comfortable hotel but a bit out-of-the-way"
Really comfortable hotel, hip & modern, and fun because it starts on the 26th floor. Great open atrium gives all rooms a view of the lobby. Don't worry about reviews complaining about smoking; we had a no-smoking room and Jo one in the atrium was smoking either. Room was small but not uncommonly so for Tokyo. Great staff and service. Hotel is a bit […] out-of-the-way, though, with very little in the immediate neighborhood to do or eat. An easy 5-minute walk from the JR Shimbasi station (don't bother catching the Yurikamome subway line one stop to the hotel, the walk from JR is faster). Mehr

"Lobby / Lounge Bar"
Too much limitation and closing hour too early. Otherwise for the price of the hotel, it's a value.
"excellent hotel"
This is an excellent hotel, especially if you can get a moderate price. Wonderful french restaurant, btw.
"The Park Hotel Tokyo in Japan"
The Hotel sits on top of the business district starting from the 25 floor, where the lobby is located. The staffs were extremely helpful and polite. The location was great, with the Shibashi Station located within walking distance and a subway station below the Hotel, which pretty much brings you to anyway in and outside of Tokyo, and lots of restaurants. The […] room is big, new and clean with a king size bed that is made up of 2 double beds, which sleeps comfortably even for 2 adults and 1 child. If your child loves trains, do remember to ask for the room that faces the city and the Shinbashi station, where your child would be able to enjoy the train arriving and leaving the train station every few minutes. Overall, the stay has been great. Thank you. Mehr
"Nice hotel and location - would stay again."
Nice hotel. Great location. Lobby and rooms were clean, comfortable and nice. Paid an upgrade for the city view and larger room and it was beautiful (30th floor). Expensive buffet breakfast and expensive beer in the lounge (especially considering that all draught beers in Japan are 2/3 beer and 1/3 foam). Did not eat at the restaurant, so can't comment […] on that. You can get to the subway/transit system almost without leaving the hotel building. The transit system can take you anywhere, so very handy to have nearby. The nearby station even has a bullet train stop if you need to get on that. Mehr
"Very convenient location and good views"
The location is very convenient, closed to subway station. Can walk to Ginza in 20 minutes. Very good views out of the windows in the lobby and room. Can see Fuji mountain in the lobby. Highly recommend to stay here.
"Park Hotel Tokyo - excellent Eng. speaking staff"
The English-speaking staff was a pleasant surprise. The premium room was decently sized as far as Tokyo hotel rooms go. Didn't care for the overpriced breakfast offered in the hotel, but not to worry as there are lots of eating options in the nearby Shiodome City Center. Hotel is well connected to multiple train lines underground making the location […] extremely convenient. Mehr
"Great value in Tokyo"
A new, clean and nice hotel right by Shimbashi station. The neighborhood is mostly daytime business so it is not quaint, but good location for Metro and close to the fish market and Ginza. Great French restaurant well deserving of it's Michelin star. My only complaint is that the room heated up very quickly in the mornings with the sun shining right […] in. The airconditioning was a bit weak but all cooled down by evening. Great water pressure and comfy beds, will return and recommend. Mehr
"good value for money"
location is good if willing to take the train since the neighborhood is not interesting nice view from the room
"Park Hotel Tokyo - Great View!"
Concierge was very helpful in giving us directions beforehand and made our connection from airport to hotel very easy. Upon arrival you really notice the great view from the lobby - nice music and polite staff help you check in. Room was clean except for a slight wine stain on the carpet, Bit on the smaller size but adequate. Hotel is connected to […] the Tokyo Metro line which is really convenient and makes travel easy. Overall very satisfied with customer service and happy with service. Free Wifi in the lobby and free computers to use in the business centre with internet access was a bonus. Room service is expensive - just accross the road is plenty to eat so no need to order in room. Mehr
Location was great. 7 mins walk to Shinbashi Station or 4 mins walk to Shiodome station. You do have to take 2 elevators to get to your room as room starts on the 26th floor of the Shiodome Media Tower. Rooms are small compare to US but clean and comfortable.
"Park Hotel...easy access to everywhere"
One of the main concerns I had as a lone woman travelling to Japan for the first time on business, was saftey and what area to stay in. I didn't want to be locked up in my room in the evening afraid to venture out. Staying at this hotel which is directly above the train stations (subway and JR lines) made it possible for me to go everywhere and not […] worry that I would be wondering the streets frantically looking for my hotel. The hotel lobby is located on the 25th floor with a spectacular view. Another concern I had was what "area" to stay in....every area is easily accessed by subway, so don't worry about that. Just pick a hotel that is in walking distance to a subway and you'll be fine. With the subway being direct access to this hotel you don't even have to go outside., which in late August in Japan is NOT a bad thing...SO HOT! When I arrived at the hotel I was in brutal shape..(food poisoning on my 13 hr flight...yeah, what fun!!!!) So when I arrived at the hotel and they were so helpful and pleasant it was a wonderful welcome. The rooms are smaller than your typical western hotel, but not that much, and how much room do you really need? From what I had read from other reviews I was expecting really small like in France....No, they are not that small. The bed was comfy, (except the pillows, which were all the same in the 3 different hotels I stayed in Japan....some kind of pea, as in the veg, filled bags) the room was nicely decorated and clean and the bathroom was a normal hotel size bathroom, with all the amenities (toilets are a women's dream...warm seats..do you know what I'm saying ladies?) And total black out curtains...yeah!!!! There are vending and ice machines on each floor near elevators. Room slippers and PJ's. and I found the room temp to be really comfy. If your stay is short and you want to book a tour, do it the night you arrive as everything was booked when I tried to go. But fortunately the hotel staff was so helpful they spent close to an hour w Mehr
"Park Hotel Tokyo -- A great place to stay"
This hotel starts on the 25th floor. Our room (one price up from a basic room) was on the 33rd floor, and its convex-shaped bay window allowed us the most spectacular view I've ever had in any hotel room. While the sun did heat up the room during the day and the AC could have worked a tad better (our only complaints of any kind), this hotel is a great […] place to stay. it is close to the subway, JR Line and other bus and train transportation. the hotel is also linked to a network of restaurants, shops etc., making it ultra convenient in many ways. The staff were outstanding, providing us with important info on many subjects without ever seeming hurried or disinterested. We will stay at this hotel the next time we visit Tokyo Mehr

"Great Hotel for First Time visit to Tokyo"
Was a bit worried about finding the hotel but actually had no problems. It wasn't hard to find at all as we took the limosine bus from the airport and it dropped us off right in front of the hotel. The location is great...connected to both the Ginza subway line and the JR line. Made it very easy to navigate around town. I would stay here again and recommend […] it to others! Mehr
"Park hotel - Good"
The stay is quite good but i got the room that is facing the subway so is quite noisy.
"Perfect for Americans"
The hotel was beautiful, great views and good for "westerners." The room was spacious enough and was also close to attractions. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

"Great Location"
Outstanding service. I was in a panic as I left my purse on the airport shuttle. The concierge had it in my room in 15 minutes. The staff is wonderful. The only negative and we were too tired to care was the lack of English on the t.v. Other sites reported on the small size of the t.v. as well. However, if that was what was most important, I should […] have stayed home. Location is fantastic within 5 minutes of two train stations. Both are accessible by underground passage. You have less than a 10 minute walk to be on the streets of the Ginza. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Mehr
