Delores Hotel & Suites - Miami Beach

Wir haben 3 Nächte vor der 70000tons of metal Kreuzfahrt hier übernachtet. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war für dieses Hotel sehr gut. Wir haben bei Ankunft statt des Queen-Size Zimmer die Suite Nr. 5 bekommen. Das Ledersofa im Wohnzimmer war neu, da in manchen Beiträgen alte, eingerissene Sofafotos zu sehen sind. In der Resortgebühr von 6USD/Nacht […] pro Zimmer sind u.a. WLAN und Standstühle+Handtücher enthalten. Morgens standen Caprisonnen und Muffins bereit. Das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarrt und es ist hellhörig wenn draussen Leute feiern. Nach der Kreuzfahrt konnten wir unsere Koffer bis zum Abflug hier abstellen und haben nochmal Strandhandtücher bekommen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich! Fazit: Für wenige Übernachtungen ist das Hotel zu empfehlen, da man nur wenig Zeit im Zimmer verbringt. Es ist aber nicht mit den Luxusherbergen vergleichbar, daher würde ich bei längeren Aufenthalten in "bessere" Hotels gehen, die allerdings schnell das doppelte kosten. Mehr

Hotel liegt am Nordrand des Art-Deco Viertels in Miami Beach. Von dort aus sind das Art Deco Viertel zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten sehr gut erreichbar. Trotzdem liegt das Hotel sehr ruhig, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Restaurants , Bars etc. Hotel ist sauber, Private Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe für ca 25 USD pro Tag zu mieten (üblicher Preis).

Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sehr sauber. Leider etwas klein, aber für den kurzen Stopover mehr als perfekt geeignet. Allgemein sieht das Hotel sehr gut gepflegt aus, die Rezeption ist überaus hilfreich und kommt jedem möglichen Wunsch gerne nach. Die Highlights wie Ocean Drive, Collings Ave, Lincoln Mall, sind in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. alles […] in allem ein gelunger Aufenthalt. Mehr

This hotel is in a great location only one block back from the beach front. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel. It fulli suits the three stars.

The only perfection about the hotel is its location. Everything else is average; not that bad and not that good. The staff is friendly. Our room was small but clean.

But the internet was NOT WORKING most of the time. And the air conditioning external unit was fitted near the window so I could hear it very loud, but that might be just my room.

If you're looking for a rooms with a lot of space, this is not the place. But it's perfect for 1 or 2 people that want to stay close to Ocean Drive and hip stores. The staff was great!

Hotel is small and staff is far from friendly. Parking is horrid...

This hotel had comfortable beds friendly helpful staff despite the fact that it is not well maintained. The room I had the door to the bathroom was so tight that I got trapped in the bathroom (after the third day the maintenance men finally trimmed the door so it would work after three requests on my part to do so).. The toilet was running the entire […] stay despite the fact that I informed the staff upon arrival of the problem (the Maintenance man did not know what a flopper was). The shower stall had a floor that the water did not drain out of and after a shower there was a lake of water remaining. The room had a nice bar with sink, refrigerator and coffee make, but did not have a place to sit down or table to work on. Mehr

I must admit I was skeptical about this place before showing up because we were able to get a room for 1 night for the price we did a week before we would be there, but I was pleasantly surprised. Upon check-in we were docked with a $6 "resort fee" that included beach towels and WiFi, but we were also promptly upgraded to a suite at no charge upon payment. […] The location couldn't be better, with the beach about 300 yards from our door, a liquor store across the street and a Starbucks a block away I had all the necessities I could ask for. The only gripe I had was that the area was really noisy, but that's not really the fault of the hotel. If you're looking for a place to decompress after some serious day-drinking this is for you, if you're looking to get away and relax with some peace and quiet, it's not. We got the full bed room for just one night, so room was small, because it could only fit a full bed. Everything was fine though: staff nice, bathroom clean. Only complaint is that the comforter between two sheets on the bed was icky. Since it's not inside a sheet, I could easily see yucky stains. Hotel is nothing fancy, they provide beach towels, a decent bed and a bathroom. The location is ideal, located 2 blocks from the beach and right in the middle of great restaurants and places to go out in south beach. I came here with my girlfriend and it was perfect for us.

Great location near Lincoln Road. While the Delores was clean it was definitely no frills. It was small and utilitarian. The staff was very accommodating.

This modest hotel was great for its location. However, it is overpriced given the amenities, when compared to other better hotels. Yet, rooms were nice and clean and the personnel was very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend the hotel for long stays especially if you are planning to hang around and use the hotel only to sleep..

We just stayed here for 1 night, but it is realy good. It takes just a couple of minutes to go to the beach. The staff is realy nice and helpfull. The room were big and nice. We did not hear any noise from the street. No breakfast No Parking, but there are a place to park your car realy close. We could live here again

We found the hotel to be aged but in fairly good condition. It is a bit loud but close to the beach and the "art deco" attractions. Overall it is ok but nothing special.

I stayed at Hotel Delores for two nights for a meeting I was attending. The Hotel was in a decent area very close to Ocean Drive and all the restaurants and clubs needed. Unfortunately the room was tiny, the sheets were dirty, the hot water on the sink was not working and the water easily leaked to the bathroom floor from the shower. Finally, in order […] to change channels on the tv I had to wait about 5 seconds after pressing the numbers before the tv would change the channel. Bottom line is that if you are a spring breaker or a young person who just needs a place to sleep and does not care about all the other things that make a hotel stay enjoyable than this place is probably going to fit you fine. If you are a little older and established you will be terribly disappointed by the bear bones experience you will get here. Mehr

This little two story art deco hotel is ideally located to South Beach attractions and to public transportation. The office staff, especially Katie, were always available and made my three day stay especially pleasant. The only thing that I find was lacking was a good continental breakfast; something more than muffin and juice.

We got more than we expected at this hotel, especially for the price. Close to the beach and a lot of great restaurants and bars. Room was clean. Front desk service was excellent. We had the two-queen suite, which had two separate bedrooms. One room was on the street and sort of loud, but a great location for those looking to stay up late and not mind […] the noise. Mehr

Nicely located, rooms are well furnished, Studio has a kitchen but no microwave to heat anything. Typical South Beach Hotel, but nice decorated. Resort fee covers wireless (works so-so) and beach towels etc. Costs are low, still feels kind of extra cashing off... Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, thanks to Michelle and others who received […] and held two UPS parcels for us while we were on a cruise (and we were not staying afterwards again at the Delores). The room was small but comfortable and clean. The small refrigerator was useful. There was no alarm clock in the room and the automated wake-up service did not work. Great location and attentive staff. Free muffins and o.j. were tasty. I would stay there again.

My stay at this hotel was horrible. I had a bad experience from check in. The staff was also horrible. The 1st room I went in smelled like mold and mildew. The 2nd room had bugs and the air conditioner was broken. The 3rd room had even more bugs.... ants crawling out through cracks and big waterbugs. I would never ever ever stay here again. I would […] rather sleep in my car or on the beach before I stay here again. The staff actually had the nerve to get upset with me on the 1st day because i asked for a washcloth. The lady told me that the hotel does not supply washclothes.... but the next day the cleaning staff brought some when she cleaned the room.... We stayed at Delores Hotel just for one evening. Everything was clean and comfortable. AC wasn't on when we walked into the room, but was very quick to cool it down. There was an ac in both rooms because there was a bedroom, bathroom and living/kitchen room. Location was great, just 2 blocks from South Beach and the downtown strip. Front desk gave us […] some VIP passes to a few clubs upon request. Negatives were a tacky bathroom- needs a lot of updating and a drain clean but was otherwise decently well taken-care of. I went to Miami for the first time with 3 of my girls for a great beach vacation. We're in our 20s and we loved this hotel! Everyone who worked there was nice and friendly. They offer beach towels and chairs to take to the beach - and the beach! It was literally one street away. We just walked straight out the hotel and one street later were in paradise. […] The one thing I will say is that the area gets loud at night. so if you're a light sleeper be prepared to be woken up throughout the night because there are drunk people on the streets. But hey that's the price you pay to be so close to everything! There's food down the street, there's shopping one street the opposite way from the beach. I definitely want to make this my permanent hotel for whenever I come down to Miami for my beach getaway Mehr

Cozy, clean and conveniently located hotel, just a block away from ocean drive and the beach. Perfect for people who need a combination of fun and rest.

Hotel is in prime location. Great cleanliness. Only thing is that my AC sucked!

We stayed at the Delores for my girlfriend's bachelorette party. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were kept pretty clean. Staff at the front desk were nice. One major "problem" was that the rooms do not have curtains. So we could barely sleep during the morning after coming in around 5am. They always had a shortage of towels! Also they do not […] have their own parking garage and the one that they use is a block away, the space is so tight. You have to back in to your space so you can get out easier, but you can barely make a 3 point turn. Its a one lane in and out. And in the two bedroom suites, you have to walk through the bathroom to get to the room in the back. If you were in the back room, you couldn't come out the room if someone was using the toilet. But we are all sorority sisters so privacy isn't really a problem for us. We ultimately had a good time, the room served its purpose. Only really wish they had blackout curtains!! Its very well located on South Beach; its close to the beach and Lincoln road. The hotel is a bit run down but the rooms are comfortable and clean. The receptionist thats there in the morning is not that friendly but the one thats there in the afternoon and night is very friendly. Be aware that they do charge you a extra non-optinal 'resort fee' thats […] $25 per day. What that is that they provide you with beach towels, umbrellas and beach chairs. But, the umbrellas are sort and flimsy at best the towels are old and the chairs are heavy and quite useless so the $25 are a rip off. Overall its good and the location is great. I recommend it if your planing to be out of the hotel most of the day. Mehr

The Delores measured up to the positive reviews...clean, comfortable, close to the action, but a quiet spot when ready to chill and relax. Nicely priced in the heart of the summer!

Good location ,in term of all the touristy thing and close to south beach.The hotel need some updating.Customer service is really good.Lots of homeless in the area .

This little hotel was easy to find on a very busy Collins Avenue, there are 15 minute parking bays for you to unload your car outside and parking in their sister hotel, The Eva. On entering the reception is was lovely and cool and beautifully presented but unfortunately we were met by a grumpy receptionist who wasn't really interested in us. After 20 […] minutes we eventually got our key but had to dump our bags and move our car before it got towed! The room was tiny but clean and was initially fine. However on coming back late evening I was in the cubical of a bathroom and a cockroach fell into the shower. On killing that one, there was another on the bathroom floor. Then my boyfriend said that one had just ran underneath the bed. Shocked, I called reception and asked for another room but they were fully booked as it was the 4th July weekend. But they could move us to their sister hotel where we were promised a larger room. By this time there was a lovely receptionist working so she walked us to the Eva. Again the reception was fine but on entering the room it was evident that this was the much cheaper version of the Delores. It was dirty, the sofa was ripped, the toilet continuously flushed every three minutes and the walls and ceilings were so thin that you literally heard everything that people in the other rooms were doing. So after four hours sleep we checked out unhappy and tired and will never return to either hotel. On leaving the Eva we did complain, saying that we didn't want to pay but had paid already through Hotels.com. Since returning, we have received a 40% refund which I appreciate. Mehr

Cute little Trendy art-deco hotel. Staff was nice, room was clean, small, as are all of the rooms in these South Beach Deco-hotel/motels, but we only slept in it, so who cares! Very close to Jerry's Famous Diner, best food in South Beach for the buck. Also one block from the beach, a cute little patio out front to people watch, we loved it! Would go […] back again. Mehr

This is all about location, the Delores is unbeatable in this area, conveniently located steps away from all the fun in Ocean Dr, the beaches and all the shopping in Collins Ave and Lincoln Rd. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms, albeit a bit small, are well equipped, clean and comfortable. There's a much needed air conditioner […] in every room to keep it cool and dry. Not so good: sound isolation is an issue. I had two particular experiences around this. First, on my first morning, the neighboring hotel was doing some work that involved hammering right out my window at around 8am and woke me up. The Delores' staff, however, were very diligent in noting my complaint and talked to the other hotel so they pushed their work to later hours. The second issue had to do with a couple staying a few rooms down the hall. They sounded like they could not get enough of each other, plus she was really loud. I could distinctly tell 4 different times when they were being intimate because I heard the screams of her. Walls are really thin so not really soundproof. Anyway, the hotel is cute, has decent free wireless internet, was recently renovated and, above all, is close to everything (it has no parking though) I recommend it to anyone Mehr

Very friendly staff allowed us to check in early and arranged for our car to be parked in their sister hotel underground parking for $20 which kept the car safe & cool. Small but clean rooms and very convenient to the buzz of South Beach.
