Wie bereits in meiner ersten Bewertung erwähnt: Service und Freundlichkeit des Personals sind gut, Lage zur Paddington Station optimal, aber die Größe der Zimmer und besonders des Bades verderben diesen Eindruck. Auch waren beim Frühstück diesmal sehr trockene Toastscheiben dabei (alt?). Dennoch kann man es Touristen empfehlen, die den ganzen Tag in […] der Stadt auf Tour sind und nur zum Schlafen nach Hause kommen. Auch sind in der Nähe des Hotels nette Pubs mit food und beer, was auch für die Lage des Hotels spricht. Mehr

Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Zimmer sauber, aber die Badezimmer extrem klein. Man kann sich kaum drehen und nichts ablegen oder aufhängen. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Korridore sind eng, aber es gibt einen Lift. Keine Klimaanlage oder Abzug im Bad, bei 27° Außentemperatur ein Nachteil.

Ich habe mit Freunden 3 Nächte in einem 3 Bettzimmer im Queensway Hotel verbracht. Das Hotel macht von außen einen sehr guten Eindruck und die Hotelangestellten sind sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer entspricht zwar zunächst den Erwartungen, es ist ausreichend groß für drei Personen und wirkt sauber. Bei näherem Hinschauen fällt jedoch der abbröckelnde Putz […] und die mangelnde Sauberkeit auf (in einer Schublade lag z.B. noch ein gebrauchtes Taschentuch und Haare des Vorbewohners). Das Zimmer riecht außerdem sehr muffig. Das Frühstück hat uns eher negativ überrascht. Es ist sehr einfach und bietet nicht viel Auswahl. Dafür ist die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Der günstige Preis und die Toplage hat uns für einige negative Dinge entschädigt. Ich würde auch in Zukunft dieses Hotel wählen. Mehr

Super Lage durch die nahe Lage der U-Bahn London ist sehr zu empfehlen, sollte jeder mal hin, die Zimmer sind relativ groß, der Frühstücksraum lässt zu wünschen übrig, klein, reicht aber aus.

Das Zimmer war für Londoner Verhältnisse angenehm in der Größe und sauber. Frühstück ist nicht üppig, aber ausreichend.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt, reichhaltiges Frühstück, freundliches Personal, Zimmer und Bad sehr klein aber sauber und zum Schlafen ausreichend.

First of all, my compliments to the female desk manager who was very pleasant and helpful. High scores there for her. The room size was acceptable for a standard European, older hotel, but the mattress and pillows were too old--Spongy and smelled of bodily detritus. The breakfast room was maintained at 7:30am by three rather scowling Eastern European […] women, one of whom simply went over to the tables I motioned was swarmed with baby cockroaches, stomped on a couple of bugs, shrugged at me, at which I replied in Ukrainian, "Should I know?," which prompted her to a slight embarrassment because she thought that I understood what the women were griping about earlier. The hotel needs to improve on the shower facilities including providing shower gel. the breakfast needs improvement.

Perfectly adequate for a one night stay. Rooms a bit small, but clean, only problem was tiny bathroom, however, that was very clean. Would recommend. Paddington station just a 5 minute walk, and buses close by to get into city.

We stayed at the Queensway for a weekend trip to London. The hotel was very easy to find and convenient for the tube. It was clean and comfortable, the only criticism was the breakfast provided - it was very basic (a hot drink, toast, cereal, and some stale plain croissants) .There could have been a better choice of things to eat, for example fresh […] fruit, muesli, honey, marmalade. I stayed at this hotel during my stay in Jan 2012. The rooms are too small and its an average hotel. overpriced for the service and quality of rooms. I was given room on the 4th floor with no elevator service. bringing my luggage to my room was a night mare. internet also didn't work in the room. location is good near paddington station which is in […] the central London. The location is good. It is just 5 minutes walk from Paddington station. It is very convenient for you to visit the attractions in London.

The Hotel is in a safe location with other Hotels around, close to the Big Bus tour stop and relatively cheaper. However, the rooms are super super tiny. Feels suffocating at times. I would keep hitting the wall while in the shower. I was given the room on the 4th floor and the elevator would go only upto 2.5 floor. The room was very small, but the bathroom even smaller. 0,73x19 m !!

Hotel is one of several "row house" type hotels on the block. The room and bath were small but standard for the price and location in London. Room and hotel looked well maintained and clean. Hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was varied and filling. Location was very convenient to Paddington underground station, local markets, […] fast food and the "on-off" tour bus. Mehr

To be honest i liked everything about this hotel - however when using the bin on the morning of my departure i discovered that the bin had not been cleaned and in fact there was a rubber prophylactic (i assume used) lying in the bin - not so nice. Just an oversight i assume. Had it been anything else i would have let it slide as i had a great stay […] here. Mehr

The worst bathroom that never I´ve seen. The double bed small -1,35m- and very unconfortable. There are better hotels with similar price in that area.

The hotel was located in a very convenient and attractive area, near both the district and central underground lines, with Oxford Street at walking distance. Lots of wonderful restaurants and stores, both major chains and smaller independent businesses. Rooms in english standard, small but definately not cramped. Thin walls, but not enough to disturb […] a good nights sleep. The staff was helpful to their utmost ability, no native english speakers but enough basic knowledge to understand and respond. Comfortable and clean, tasty basic breakfast supplied, just make sure to get rooms at suitable floors if physically impaired, the lift only goes to the third floor and the stairs are narrow and steep. Since we spent most of our time shopping and sightseeing, we only spent our nights here. For this purpose, this hotel was perfect both in location and comfort. Mehr

The hotel room was clean, however the rooms were small and that's what is expected of London hotels in general. But, the bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen.

I stayed one night here in transit. I needed something close to Paddington station. This fit the bill. It was basic but perfectly fine. Nothing memorable.

Very easy walk from Paddington. Comfortable and clean. No lift to the top floor. Have to walk up very steep steps from the next floor down, which is a bit of a pain with luggage.

Good, basic, quiet hotel in an excellent location. Good simple breakfast included in room rate. Working elevator/lift. Room recently renovated and comfortable, although a bit small (like many London hotel rooms). Would definitely stay at the Queensway Hotel again!

Tiny room. Tiny bathroom. Even people says this is typical from european lodging we could confirm later on our trip that is not a constant for all hotels. We came back a week later to another hotel on the same street and it was really superior.

Had a triple room and was expecting it to feel cramped but was very pleasantly suprised it was very clean spacious and comfortable, staff were very friendly. will definitely stay again.

Clean, affordable hotel within walking distance of Paddington Station. The only thing lacking --double or queen size bed. Our room had 3 twin beds. A queen bedroom was available on the 4th floor but the lift only goes through 3rd floor. Large clean room, clean bath, service fine.

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for two nights in May. Having travelled on the train for 3 1/2 hours into London it was very pleasing to find the hotel within a 2-3 minute walk of Paddington station. The hotel was clean and tidy and set within a row of Georgian style buildings. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and nothing was too […] much trouble for them. The room itself was clean and tidy and spacious bar the bathroom which was rather on the small side. The main issue revolves around practically having to climb over the toilet to get in and out of the shower and it being very narrow so it's difficult to turn around inside. However, the bathroom itself was spotless. The hotel is close to a number of bars and restaurnats which provide plenty of variety with regards to food and drink of an evening. There are also a number of local shops etc nearby for buying general supplies. The hotel is within a 5-10 minute walk of Hyde Park and being close to Paddington station is great for the underground netwrok to get you all around London. I would not hestitate to stay here again. A great, small hotel close to Paddingtion Station. Nothing fancy but clean and beds comfortable. Unfortunately we were right under the reception and heard footsteps early in the morning but apart from that no probs. Would use again as a good budget hotel.

Good quality to price ratio compared to the other hotels in the area. Never had a too small room as it frequently happens or even worse being relocated to some other place. Very close to Lancaster gate underground and Hyde Park

Bathroom was small but acceptable for the price. I'd stay there again.

This is a small and basic townhouse hotel just 3 minutes' walk from Paddington station. Check-in at 11pm on a Sunday was straightforward, our room small, almost cramped, but clean and tidy with ensuite toilet and shower. Room furnishings were minimal, with no desk or chair, but there was a kettle, hairdrier and decent flatscreen TV. A simple continental […] breakfast was served downstairs in the basement restaurant, no other meals available here but there are many restaurants nearby. You wouldn't choose it for its ambience but as a station hotel it's fine. Mehr

Great location, good price. Small and clean.

The room was a good size clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, too small to be practical. Staff were good, polite, and professional.

The hotel came as advertised- Nothing fancy but clean, convenient and an overall good value. I was on a short trip and wanted something very close to the sights. The hotel is 2 blocks from a tube station, but also within walking distance of major sights. The room was very small but that was what I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We arrived to be greeted by a friendlyish receptionist, who rearranged our rooms. We were on the top floor in the attic space. There was a lift to get us to floor 3 and then we had to climb the remainder steps in a narror stairwell. It was nice though,very cute,and we didnt mind being right on top, we had a better view. But all in all cant complain about the room, it was well presented and clean,which is the main thing. Breakfast was at 730am and it was a continental breakfast, and to be honest, there wasnt much choice and found the lady serving quite abrupt. The dining room was very well presented though and everything was clean. All in all, we found the hotel in a very good place,just ten minutes away from Paddington, it was clean and well presented and would consider going back. Negative side, I think the staff could of been friendlier, even checking out the male receptionist was hardly friendly. So been living in hostels but they were overbooked. I tried Queensway hotel as I was scheduled for drinks after work and did not want to go far. The hotel staff was very nice . The check in took 2 minutes. The room was small but decent everything worked. The breakfast seemed ok. I only had orange juice, but the other people seemed to be enjoying their […] breakfast. The price was steep after Hotels but the standard for London 70-80 pounds. All in all a clean good hotel. Mehr

fairly basic but well sited little hotel - room and facilities fine (free wifi/reasonable breakfast) but sited on 4th floor at top of narrow stairwell - paddington is lively area and close to centre of town - overall reasonable value for money particularly for central london - would stay again

All I needed was a clean room, the Queensway Hotel provided that and it is very convenient to Paddington Station so a quick trip from Heathrow. It just the thing for a night or two, convenient to restaurants, the underground and trains to other parts of Great Britain. Good location. Hotel was renovated, room is clean but bathroom is to small. Near Paddington station. Many resaturant in this area. You can walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Garden. I will stay in this Hotel again when I go to London.

Very pleasantly situated on a tree-lined street.Hotel in good position for getting to all the main sights whether on foot or by underground.The staff were very pleasant and the room was fine and clean,ideal for a short break in the capital

The Queensway Hotel was a good value. I've stayed in many different hotels in London and this hotel meets and sometimes beats most London hotels in my past. Proximity to Paddington Station was key for this trip and The Queensway Hotel was perfect. Lancaster Gate tube station is very close as well, made for easy travel on a Sunday when Central line was […] shut down. The man that checked me in was quick and to the point, not all that friendly or informative- but no biggie for me, I just wanted to get into my room and get back out. My room was small, but managable and perfect for a single. Bedding could be updated, but sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom was tiny, but everything worked and it was clean so could have been worse. Continental breakfast was fine- nothing spectacular, but covered all continental breakfast basics. If I need to stay close to Paddington Station again I will happily stay here again. Mehr

Great location, basic no frills hotel. Clean and tidy. We had the groundfloor back of hotel room which was probably the worst in the hotel but it was clean and and the service was good. So all in all great for an overnight theatre visit.

We knew the hotel was in a good position for the station and getting around London. Our room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was basic and we had to ask for more coffee and toast, but it was given. We were able to leave our bags and pick them up later
