Even the other visitors were friendly. Always enjoy our stay in Dubuque and we will defintely stay here the next time we come. Nice rooms, comfortable, clean and quiet.

I thought this hotel was very nice. I was at a Hampton Inn a week ago in another city and I thought this one was nicer. The hotel and room was very clean. I like that I had a full shower instead of the tub shower. the breakfast area was well kept with plenty of goodies for all. The location is great (even though you are in Dubuque). My only knock on […] the hotel is that there were people smoking in-between the front doors in the little double door area. That probably isn't the best impression to make as people are walking in for their visit. Beside that, it was great. Mehr

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Dubuque for a week. There are a few criticisms, but the pros definitely outnumber the cons. LOCATION - Not close to downtown, but did not feel remote. Plenty of shopping (mall and Target), restaurants and grocery store all within close walking distance. SERVICE - Personnel were all pleasant and happy to accommodate any […] request. BREAKFAST/FOOD - Although it's great that a breakfast of both hot and cold items is included with the room and the offerings change daily, the hot items weren't very good. The scrambled eggs seemed like they were dehydrated or were made from a powder and the oatmeal was VERY thick. Other breakfast offerings included waffles, juices, coffee/tea, hot chocolate, muffins, bagels, bread, yogurt, and fruit. It was nice that coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fruit (apples and bananas) and cookies were available thoughout the day and night. ROOM - Room was comfortable with good, working heater/thermostat. The comforters on the beds had to have been the lumpiest I've ever seen. They should be embarrassed to use those as is. Water pressure was alright, but almost bordering on not being good. Very small closet, no safe and no refrigerator (microwave available downstairs) was disappointing. AMENITIES - Swimming pool, fitness room and business center were all in good condition. Guest laundry facilities were available, but I did not use them. Although it may seem that there were many things bad with this hotel, my stay was overall very good and I would stay there again. Breakfast makes is worth the cost.

I have stayed in several hotels in the Dubuque, IA area, and this far exceeds the others. I got the flu during my stay and they were so kind, even got me a bag of ice for my headache, twice! The breakfast was much larger than most free buffet with room. More selection like waffles, (even had diet syrup, when I asked), eggs, breakfast meat, cereal, […] fruit, and so on. Overall good experience...surrounded by mall so options are available.

I had a graduate school exam the next morning, and I had to wake up earlier than I was used to waking up to take this exam. This place was so comfortable, quiet, and clean, that I had no problem doing so and I was energized and ready to go. Highly recommended.

Our weekend was great, room was very clean,and the front desk staff even called about 1 hr after we checked in to see if everything met our approval and if there was anything else we would need (never had that happen before!). Breakfast had lots of variety with several fresh fruit options.

Our bed was extremely comfortable, which made our stay very enjoyable. This is one of the reasons we choose Hampton - the comfortable beds.

Loved the breakfast. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Room was cleaned everyday and coffee and soaps restocked. Even requested a refrigerator for my husbands meds and they supplied promptly! Would stay there again.

Beds are comfortable, rooms are, well, roomy, brunch is great. Employees are all very pleasnt and helpful!!

This Hotel is located across the street from the Mall, grocery stores, places to eat, movie theaters not to metion its less than five minutes to the down town area. My wife and I were there over the July 4th weekend and enjoyed a comfortable stay. The Staff was very helpful when asked for locations of places to eat and sights. Thanks Again.

Very clean and very nice breakfasts and service

What a wonderful stay!

This is a typical Hampton Inn with very clean rooms, free breakfast, pool, small workout room, etc. The staff was very nice and let our group check into all three rooms early. We did not spend much time in the hotel but it served it's puropse very well.

We choose this hotel because of the parking. We had a full-size vehicle and a boat w/trailer. The staff was very accomodating our over-sized needs with the parking issue. The breakfast is always good at these establishments. The hotel was near a shopping center and restuarants.

We had good, relaxing stay at the Hampton and would stay there again!

Nice place - very nice breakfast area and a really good continental breakfast.

Had a little problem with our door not opening but fixed by the maintenance. Breakfast was terrific.

The hotel was clean, smelled fresh, large pool area. The king bed & linens were FABULOUS!! but the room was small for the large bed. Personally, I would like the option to have a refrigerator in the room, at no extra charge. I would definitely stay there again. Breakfast offered plenty of foods, something for everyone. Very convenient to all the local colleges. Competitively priced. The room, service and breakfast buffet were very good.

We've stayed here before, and prefer this hotel to any in the Dubuque, IA area. We will definately return to this location as needed.

Great cable package (70+ stations), free board games in the lobby, easy check-in and check-out. Breakfast was decent, but get there early (6am-10am, we arrived at 8:30 and there wasn't much left). Very helpful staff, responsive especially in the breakfast lounge. Loved having the local paper! Pool facilities are not impressive but will do the trick […] if you're desperate. Swimming pool is only 5' deep, and hot tub is small and simple. Walking distance to the local Target and Perkins. Great local "Dubuque" flair incorporated in many details, including the hotel room number signs. Mehr

Good allround hotel, but only used as a stopover so did not have chance to look around Dubuque.

The service in this hotel is outstanding! Such a wonderful group of associates that do make your stay a pleasure and go out of there way to make you feel at home!

No only is this hotel a good place to stay, I am the only one in the family who eats breakfast and their free hot and cold breakfast are great. I am on a restrictive food plan so I found lots of breakfast foods that I could eat while my family slept in.
