Comfort Inn Baltimore East Towson - Towson

Comfortable and satisfactory for my needs. Didn't go in to this hotel expecting anything special and I wasn't disappointed. Very strange smells in the hallway and the stairwell at all hours, however fortunately the smell of the room was neutral. The light in the bathroom was not functioning, I asked the front desk if they could fix it, they said they […] would send somebody up to fix it, but this never happened. The complimentary breakfast was sub-par, everything from the eggs to the orange juice was watery. Good location, easy to find, easy parking, room was enough for my needs. Mehr

The hotel is being renovated. I understood this when I booked, but why do they allow the workmen to work all night. My room was next to an area where they were working and there was loud talking and banging until at least 2:00 am. I put on music, the fan and earplugs, but could still hear them. At breakfast, I overheard several other people complaining […] about the noise upstairs, next door, underneath, etc. I don't understand why crews are allowed to work during sleep time. Mehr

Ceiling in bad shape... No smoke detector...just wires hang from wall...

They were in the process of renovation. it made for an interesting stay. Lights out in the back hallways (replacing them) . Lamps set out for illumination. When they finish the renovation it will be very nice.

An older hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. 2 queen beds were perfect for a family of 4. Cable TV reception was excellent. We very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which included scrambled eggs and the mildest sausage I've ever tasted. Access to 695 is 100 yards from hotel, so it was convenient. The beds were sagging and not comfortable. The breakfast was nearly gone by 8.30 A.M. The employee came by to clear everything but did not care to refill earlier. Poor customer service

Abesolutely the worst place i have ever stayed. Upon arrival the night reception person was rude. I guess the kind of people who currnetly visit this hotel would cause his to act this way. After check in the rrom we recieved was over crowded with big furniture and very stuffy. Also the room had not been serviced very well. We found horrible stains left […] behind from the previous guest on the bed and the current bedding. (BLOOD) This was just the ultimate straw that broke the camels back. The night cleck didn't even offer an appoligy. He just handed my husband another room key and asked us to check it out to see if it was satifactory. We didn't check out as first thought because it was 2:00 in the morning. How awful was this stay?????? In the morning we spoke to the manager over the phone after we made a stink to the morning reception person after being told he would be there first thing. I have never been so disgusted in my entire life. One night credit was all they offered which was certainly not enough. I will never use this hotel again and i hope you don't either.............. Everything was decent. Hotel is under maintenance, but still looks nice. Only issue was in the morning while trying to sleep the cleaning people were extremely loud.

Convenient location, comfortable beds, clean room, friendly service, nice breakfast, good price. . .just what we needed for a quick one night stay!

this place is what it is. Good value for the price. My only complaint was that they use these very odd square pillows which were not comfortable AT ALL. I hated those pillows. there was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room.

The walls are paper thin. You will hear everything from adjoining and non-adjoining rooms. If you are a light sleeper, stay somewhere else.

As I liked the convience of the hotel to the highway and stores I feel the hotel should of addressed problems right away. I liked the price of the hotel since alot of hotels in the Baltimore Area are very pricey. I only stayed two days and the price was great. I may stay again at this hotel the next time I am in town.

We were in town for a tournament and wanted a place convenient to our location at a good price. We feel that this hotel exceeded our expectations. A very comfortable, clean room, friendly staff and a nice hot breakfast with a good selection. We will be coming back in March and definitely plan to stay here again!

The breakfast was cold and awful. The elevators were dirty and for some reason the plaque for the elevator stating it was in running order was there the first day but not the second. The maintenance was terrible in the rooms. The floor in the bathroom were spattered with paint. The sign for the fire escape was crooked.

Their is no room to hang your clothes and also the internet service is very poor. The space is too small for a king size bed

This hotel provided a great location but the experience was horrible! A guest staying right accross the hall (3rd floor) was smoking marijuana during the whole time. I complained to the front desk; while another guest stated it was worst on the 5th floor! The creep should have been arrested the 1st night!

I booked the hotel thought hotels.com telephone # and was given a hard time at check in because the hotels.com card was declined. My credit card was already charged and they wanted to run it again. After about 10 minutes I was given my key but felt I was treated very rude. Lynn

The over all quality was not that great. The bathroom shower was rusted and had a slight smell. The ceiling had a separtion that was stuffed with tissue. The bed spread had cigarett burns in it. I was told it was a none smoking room. Not a place I would recommend...

Staff was cordial & accommodating; but, the area was somewhat seedy. The sheets were stained necessitating a change of rooms.

It was a bed and bathroom for the 1 night I was there not sure I would want to stay for more than a couple of nights. Housekeeping knocked on every door in the AM (loudly at 9:30) to see if you were inside even though I was checking out that day.

Comp Internet was a plus Got there late and checked in fast Only there to sleep 4 hours. Got undressed and as stepping into shower there were no towels. I called the front desk and they said they would send some up. After 15 minutes I called again. They said they had come up and I didn't answer the door. Did they knock? My experience was nothing like the horror stories I read in the comment section. Everything about this room, this location, and the staff was average and perfectly adequate.The room was on the small side but clean and had everything we needed. Except for a small refrigerator, that would've been nice but we made do with the ice bucket. The breakfast […] was good. Parking was good. The employees I encountered were just fine. I did hear the next room's tv through the adjoining wall, it wasn't too annoying which might have been different if the volume were louder. I'd go back here again. Mehr

I was very displeased with this hotel. It was supposed to be non smoking, but you could smell smoke on every floor. My husband and I arrvied at 1:00 p.m. for a wedding at 6:00 p.m. Check in was at 3:00. We were allowed to check in, but there were no towels in the room. That was ok because we were early.We let the front desk know that we needed towels […] so we could shower and change. We did not get towels until around 4:30 in the afternoon. We have stayed at numerous Comfort Inns over the years and this is the worst one that I have ever been too. Mehr

The hotel was one of the cheaper ones in the area but our stay was wonderful. Staff was always courteous, hotel was clean, and the included continental breakfast rivaled the one my parents had at their much pricier hotel. Was in town to visit family so we wil be returning and will be staying at this hotel. Its a great deal.

Our hotel room has a terrible mold problem! The whole room smelled of mold and mildew. We could even see spots of mold coming through both the cieling and walls in this hotel! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again! I was gross and unclean and infested with mold and mildew!!!

Check-in was quick and courteous. The room was convenient to the elevator and was exactly as described. The room was clean and the bed was reasonably comfortable. More seating was needed for a couple to watch tv. Overall a good experience.

Not the fanciest, but a good value for the money. Does not deserve the low rating given.

A reasonably priced hotel that offers a lot for those on a budget and not too particular. My room was comfortable, clean, and I was pleased to have a free breakfast. Didn't try the pool. Location isn't the greatest since you can only enter the hotel from one direction, and the rooms are rather small. 2nd time staying here. Very convenient that's why I came back

Our stay at this Hotel was the worst experience I have ever had! Why: *Entrance of Hotel was dirty. Carpets were dirty. *Room carpets had visibly large debris scattered around. Upon closer inspection one object was a pill. *Walls had big marks and areas where the wallpaper had been peeled off. *Electrical outlet cover was broker leaving exposed plug. *No […] hand or bath towels or wash cloths. Only a floor mat was provided. Called front desk requesting towels. After 20 minutes nothing had been delivered. I had to go down to the desk to get them myself and still no hand towels. *The blanket on the bed had stains which looked like blood but may have been food. The sheets appeared to be clean. *No drinks on our floor. All items were empty. Had to go down to 1st floor to get a drink. *Breakfast was one of the reasons we chose the location. We were down for breakfast within the allotted time period. There were no pastries or muffins. Eggs and sausage were under cooked. Eventually before we finished more pastries did arrive. Waffles were a savior, they were very good. *Never located the pool that is advertised. *Bed pillows were too small. Mehr

We have stayed at this hotel a few times. It is close to Johns Hopkins University and is reasonably priced. Overall the staff is very nice and the hotel is fairly clean. Our room this last visit was a bit of a disappointment: The shower head was so low that even a short person had to crouch to use it. Additionally the rotating head to adjust the water […] flow wasn't working. The bathtub was moldy and when you turned the water on the whole unit spun and black mold poured down the walls. The spout was coming out of the wall as well and I was afraid it would break off. This was by far the worst stay I've had at this hotel but I know they are capable of better. I have stayed here twice before and had no complaints. We are scheduled to stay there again in August so I'm hoping some of these things will be taken care of. Breakfast is limited and only served until 9:00am but the staff was very courteous. I'm not looking for a full-service breakfast so it fit my needs. Mehr

Smelled really bad....bought a disinfectant spray.

Pool closed fourth of July weekend, comforters ripped and stained, shower head broken.

We went to MD for a funeral and spent about 10 days in this hotel. The service was outstanding. The front desk clerk ensured that all of our needs were taken care of and the hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was always kept fresh, and while the offerings did not change from day to day, provided us with a great way to start […] each day. My only major complaint is that the hotel was undergoing renovation, so there was construction outside our window that began very early on the days when we hoped to get a little more rest and the pool was open at very inconvenient hours. Overall, this hotel provided us a comfortable home base while we were sorting out funeral details. Mehr
