Im NH Giustinano stimmte alles: Zum Mittelklassepreis gab es ein sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer (hatten allerdings das Angebot zum Upgrade wahrgenommen). Das Zimmer war groß, das Bett sehr bequem. Das Bad war klein, aber mit allem ausgestattet, was erforderlich ist. Das Zimmer war nach erstem Anschein sauber. Der Service war in Ordnung, insbesondere beim Frühstückspersonal hätten wir uns mehr Freundlichkeit gewünscht. Aber das ist nach unserer Erfahrung Rom-typisch. Das Frühstück selbst war vielseitig und schmackhaft (mit Ausnahme des Automaten-Kaffees).

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Rom und ist wirklich sehr günstig über die Bahnstation Pantanella zu erreichen. Es ist in einem sehr guten Zustand mit Marmorböden und vielen Details, die es schön verzieren. Ein typisches italienisches Früstück ist zu erwarten, das sich in Umfang vom deutschen unterscheidet. Leider haben wir gefühlt das mit Abstand schlechteste Zimmer bekommen, da es im Gegensatz zum gesamten Hotel wirklich sehr einfach eingerichtet war. Aber es war sauber und wir hatten vier schöne Tage in Rom. Empfehlenswert vom Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Wir verbrachten insgesamt 4 Tage mit unseren Kindern in Rom. Das Familienappartement des B&B war Ideal für uns. Die Lage In unmittelbarer Nähe zum Kolosseum und zur Metro war hervorragend. Der Vermieter ist unheimlich freundlich und hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Die Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig gelegen, die Betten waren sehr gut.
Lage
Das Beaux-Arts-Gebäude des Clarion Collection Hotel Principessa Isabella liegt zwei Blocks von der Via Veneto entfernt, im Geschäftsviertel in der Innenstadt von Rom. Die Villa Borghese und die Spanische Treppe sind 500 Meter vom Hotel entfernt, das Pantheon und das Kolosseum zwei Kilometer. Die Vatikanischen Museen liegen in ca. vier Kilometern Entfernung.
Charakteristika des Hotels
Das Clarion Collection Hotel Principessa Isabella serviert jeden Morgen ein kostenloses Frühstücksbuffet. Das Hotel beherbergt zudem eine Bar und eine Piano-Lounge. Die Via Veneto wurde 1960 durch den Film "La Dolce Vita" berühmt und erlebt gerade eine glanzvolle Renaissance. Die Bars, Restaurants, schicken Hotels und Boutiquen wetteifern miteinander um die Aufmerksamkeit der Passanten. Dieser Straße ist auch der Begriff Paparazzo zu verdanken - so hieß der Fotojournalist im Film. Nicht weit davon entfernt ist die Spanische Treppe. Dort finden sich oft Liebespärchen ein, es gibt Geschäfte und viele Menschen frönen mit Müßiggang und dem Beobachten von Menschen der italienischen Kunst des "dolce far niente".

Great little hotel with marble floors. Elegantly decorated. In the process of remodeling other rooms for expansion. Breakfast room with a very nice breakfast. Courteous staff. walking distance to most of the sights in Rome. A few blocks from Via Veneto & Villa Borghese.I gave a 4 rating to condition only because of the stairway landing where they are […] doing renovations. "Marlo made our stay at Principessa"
Did not expect the high level of service and quality in this hotel. The staff were a delight. They were very helpful in particularily Marlo - what a gem! The hotel has just been renovated so it is like staying in a 5 star hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and the cute cook was a plus. We were able to walk to most tourist locations and were only 5 minutes […] away from the Villa Borghese which is the largest public park in Rome and about 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps. "Nice hotel priced RIGHT"
We had a great stay although short. It was a great location with a price that was half of what friends we were meeting paid just down the road. The breakfast was excellent as well making the value even better. I would make it a first choice next time.

hotel is situated in a lovely area and a short walk to the spanish steps yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. We arranged a ride to Civitavecchia through the hotel which was a very scary ride with the driver looking like he was falling asleep at the wheel. The front desk was mixed with friendly and courteous staff, to very rude […] morning staff who were annoyed by questions. The breakfast room was bleak with a lack of fruit provided for breakfast, I understand however that a renovated breakfast room was ready to open in the next week. Overall happy with our stay. Mehr

"Comfortable, clean and reasonably priced"
The Principesa Tea is a comfortable, clean and reasonably priced hotel in the Via Veneto area. Our room on the 4th floor was nice. It was clean, nicely decorated and roomy. The bathroom was very nice and we had a nice balcony. There was a closet but no chest of drawers or shelves making clothing storage difficult. Wireless internet reached our room […] and was reasonably priced 2 Euro per hour. Breakfast was OK (boiled eggs, meats, cheese, nice breads, cornetto, juice, coffee) but the breakfast room was not very nice. It was in the basement and was hot and stuffy. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Biggest problem we had was at checkout. We had a small (6 Euro) balance for the minibar but didn't have enough cash. We weren't allowed to put our incidentals on a credit card. We scrounged enough change to pay the bill but it was awkward. I don't understand why they couldn't take a credit card. Mehr

This hotel has been a hotel for the last 100 years, so the building has character. the rooms have been completely renovated and they are very comfortable. We had a great time here because location is unbeatable, very close to Via Veneto and Metro Barberini, with many buses leaving us at the corner of the hotel. "5 star quality rooms if you get the refurbished ones"
To cut a long story short, our party arrived at the hotel and were given 2 rooms on the same floor as reception. They were damp, old, out of date, smelly and generally not comfortable or pleasant. After asking to be moved we went upstairs to the most wonderful, new, clean and tastefully refurbished rooms. They had been renovated to a very high standard […] and we adored them. We were told that only the downstairs now has to be renovated but I cant understand why they still rent these lower rooms out as they are awful and can only make visitors rate the hotel very poorly. If we hadnt been moved my score would have been very poor indeed. As it is, we found the hotel, service and new rooms wonderful and would definately stay in this hotel again. Mehr
"Refinished rooms comfortable and contemporary"
The hotel was clearly under renovation though it did not affect our stay. We could only tell due to the dramatic difference between 60s décor in the entryway and our very contemporary room. Temperature controlled rooms in August were a major plus, flat screen tvs, refit bathrooms, safe in the room and a first, US, UK and continental European plugs in […] the room. The help was hot and cold, other exceptional or dismal, and remembering our wakeup call would have been nice but welcome to Europe. We travel through Europe often an this is an excellent value. Hôtel bien tenu. Par contre, la chambre est petite ainsi que la salle de douche et peu d'insonorisation. Décor de mauvais goôt. Un ciel étoilé avec une alarme anti-incendie clignotante rouge au-dessus du lit. Un tableau de la Vierge à l'enfant au-dessus de la tête de lit. Tout un programme ! Le petit déjeuner était très moyen : café tiède, pas de jus […] de fruits mais des boissons au goût chimique. L'hôtel est assez proche de la Via Veneto et de la Villa Borghese, dans un quartier calme. Mehr

Hotel confortable, refait à neuf,dans un quartier de Rome très calme (ambassades, bureaux, appartements) et proche des principaux points d'attraction touristique. A deux pas de la Villa Borghese. Seule petite réserve : une décoration un peu "rococco".

Hotellet är inte värd 4 stjärnor, Högst 3! Väldigt dålig frukost vi åt aldrig det. Det var i ett litet ofräscht rum som var väldigt trång! De hade samma torra croissont varje dag och lite bröd med lite tillbehör. Väldigt små rum, vi fick inte plats med vagnen plus att hissen var trasig. Dessutom tar de en avgift innan man checkar ut för skatt i staden […] sa dem. Mehr

Non è un 4 stelle, ma un tre stelle maldato. Avevamo una camera al piano 6 rumorosissima a causa del motore dell'ascensore.abbiamo chiesto subito un cambio stanza che ci è stato concesso solo per la seconda notte.La zona è tranquilla e non distante da piazza di spagna. A Equipe é muito atenciosa e prestativa.
Hotell som infriade våra förväntingar, rent och fint med en stor park alldeles runt knuten. Frukosten var kanske inte kanon men man blev mätt!
