Ramada Inn Nashville Airport Opryland - Nashville

Nie hätten wir gedacht, dass ein Ramada-Hotel so unfassbar schmutzig sein kann! Im Zimmer begrüßten uns Kakerlaken... Nach dem Wechsel in den 2. Stock war dann dieses Zimmer erträglich. Alle Wege und Gänge im und am Hotel waren dreckig und total ungepflegt. Bei unserer 6-Wochen-Rundreise haben wir niemals solch ein schreckliches Hotel erlebt!!!

The hotel was close to the airport and about 7 miles from Nashville city center. Found this to be a great location, the sites we wanted to see like the museum were downtown and easy to get to, Grand Ole Opry is out of town and not far from this either. We got the suite and it was extremely spacious, front desk was always there and super helpful. The […] place is super close to the hotel and next to a major road with restaurants and near another major road with tons of quick eating options. The pool wasn't in service and doesn't look like it will be anytime soon so if you are hoping for that I wouldn't count on it. The only downfall of the suite is the air conditioning is in the living room while the bedroom doesn't have the air. You'll just need to be mindful that it will take time for temperature to cool down. We would definitely stay there again, given the location and cost it was an excellent value. Also the staff was extremely helpful on anything you needed and area reccomendations. Mehr

The motel was fine but the shuttle bus (driving Miss Daisy was a joke, they were 2 hrs late picking us up then the driver was driving fast & throwing us around on each other) & I lost my laptop during this time.

Great price for the size and quality of the room. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable beds and clean, hot shower.

The bathroom was clean, thankfully. But the bed and linens left A LOT to be desired. The management would do well to spend some money updating them to something that could be easily washed with each guest. The "comforter" was visibly ripped, and there were holes in the sheets. The blanket on the bed was the worst: stained and had hair stuck to it (from […] several people, it seemed.) NOT ACCEPTABLE. We had to buy a blanket to use and put the existing one on the floor with the rest of the covers. I have had two bad experiences with Ramada Inn in different states. This was a great hotel for the PRICE. It was not the cleanest, but it was liveable. We had a "suite" with a very comfortable sitting room and a king bed/bathroom combo room. I was there one night with my wife for the Rock&Roll 1/2 marathon. Even she agreed, we would be willing to take the kids back there for a Nashville getaway. I paid extra for 2 double beds. Well, one of the beds was shoved up in front of the closet-completey blocking the closet. This hotel is ideal for young college age people who like to party. That's what was staying there. Not a good family place. Unless you want your child to see a streaker running around in the parking lot. Reservations were for King Kitchenette Suite at the Ramada Nashville Opryland but they gave us a microwave and a small refridgerator. The sanitation was absolutely appalling. The cable stayed out for most of the 3 day stay. Maids blocked the elevator at the first floor while they cleaned on the third floor.The front desk staff was polite but unable […] to address any of the issues. We got there late one night, and just needed a cheap place to stay the night for a few hours. We traded rooms 3 times until we found the right one. Each one smelled like smoke so bad after we asked for non-smoking. We kept getting headaches and had to go back up to the front desk to change rooms. I tried calling up to the front desk and the guy never […] answered because he was outside smoking. The place was very run down except for the bathroom. That you can tell was recently updated, but there was no way id go barefoot on the carpet, and i did not rest well at all because i was so uncomfortable with the room. Mehr

Was given the wrong room type, was changed twice before finally checking in and then the nightmare began. Carpets needed cleaning, was afraid to walk around the room without shoes on. Tub finish was awful and appeared dirty even if they weren't. No cable service on the tv and after 24 hours finally changed rooms AGAIN. Had to hand carry all of our stuff […] because the luggage carts had gone missing completely. There was no assistance from staff for the room move. The last room still had nasty carpets and the tub finish was horrible. Will not EVER stay there again! Mehr

This was the worst hotel experience that my wife and I have ever had. We actually left the hotel, rather than stay there. The staff was friendly enough at check-in, and the lobby was very nice, but once we went around to our room outside, it became evident that the actual hotel and its grounds were not kept very clean. The first thing we pulled up to […] was a pillar with a huge chunk missing from it. The stairway and outside of the rooms were covered in dirt. There were also cracked windows. It did not create a friendly environment. When we got into the room, we turned on the air conditioning to try and cool the room down, and left to go back to town. When we returned later that night, it was still very warm in the room. I was looking at some of the books and catalogs they had in the room for local attractions and they too were covered in a thin film of dust. When we got into the bed, we were grossed out. The blanket had cigarette burns in it and then we found several long black hairs scattered throughout the blanket and bed. That was the breaking point and when we decided to leave the hotel. At check-out, when I told the staff why we were leaving, we got a quick "sorry" and reminder that there would be no refund or discount for the room. We were fed up at this point and quickly exited the hotel for good. We will never use this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone. Mehr

Facility needs maintenance and cleaning.

The hotel was more than I expected-since it is an older hotel-but I was pleasantly surprised.It was very nice for it's age. They have a continental breakfast-waffles-cereal-bagels-toast-juices-ect. The hotel is close to a lot of the sights everyone wants to see--and if you have booked a tour--the tour bus will pick you up at the hotel lobby and bring […] you right back when the tour is over. Nice for a person who is totally unfamilar with Nashville. Overall I am very pleased with my experience at the Ramada Inn on Atrium Way. Employees went out of their way to be helpful. The lighting in the hallways was very dark making it uneasy to walk along in some paths. The sink in my room was leaking and the door needed to be banged hard to shut. There was expired instant coffee sachets in my room. The internet didn't work as well and when I called the front desk, the attendant told me that she didn't know how to fix it. the beds were super comfy. very secure. i felt at ease. couldn't have asked for a better place. however, the coffee was not the best.

The sofa bed in our suite was broken and the hot water was barely lukewarm. It was not the most comfortable hotel I have ever been in. The continental breakfast was good though.

Stay was good buy need to clean the carpet more often my white socks became black yuck!!

I have stayed here many times. It is always clean & people are friendly & helpful. I will stay here again.

You can tell this hotel is a bit old - and it does need a major reno. But, for a cheap room (book online or it's more expensive in person), and a nice comfy bed, you can't beat the price, unless you want to stay at a motel 6. I've stayed at worse places, but this room was definitely clean and comfortable. WiFi - yes Cable TV - yes. Mini fridge - yes. The Ramada at Nashville Airport/Opryland was pleasant to stay at. Our room was a 2 room suite, which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable; the bathroom was small, but had all the necessities. Although the furniture was old and dated looking, it was a nice room and was great for the price. We will probably stay here again in the future.

This hotel was unclean.....Bath didn't even have a shower head. Never will stay there again.

Comfortable beds. Small rooms but great for the money. Nothing available in kitchen area for making anyything. Not advised to bring own utensils, etc. Quiet area of Nashville and easy to access. Friendly staff, especially lady at breakfast area.

Was going to Nashville for one night to see a predators game. Didn't want to spend the extra money to stay downtown, really wish I had. The lobby is nice and so was the staff, so when you check in all seems right with the world. That feeling quickly disappeared as we walked to our room on walkways that are not level, and as we entered the room we were […] greeted by the familiar grungy mothball stench of a poorly kept hotel. The comforter in the bed appeared to be 20 years old, there were stains on the carpet, one may have been blood, the pillows on the bed were flat, and there weren't any on the sofa. No air in one bedroom made for not the best sleeping conditions. Six adults in the suite but only sitting room for five. When asked for additional chair, were told there was none available. Beds were confortable. Overall was okay for the reasonable price Breakfasts good--Lady in charge great!!.

When my boyfriend scored an incredible deal on a king suite, it seemed too good to be true. Then we read the reviews. The claims of messiness lead us to joke about bringing our own sheets. We even considered cancelling our reservation - but i'm so *glad* we didn't. The service was fine although they could have used an extra person at the front desk […] during check-in rush. The room was great, with a fridge and microwave. The ac unit was only in the living room so we had to keep the bedroom door open to stay cool (this would have been a problem if we had anyone sleeping on the pull-out couch). The breakfast was tasty with fresh waffles. And they gave us a little extra time to check-out when we missed out alarm on that last morning. It was also right off the highway, minutes from opryland (where our conference was held) and convenient to downtown. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our other friends on a budget. Mehr

I used to stay at this hotel and go to Opry Mills all of the time and it was not bad. It was not a 5 star but it was clean and comfortable. I booked the room and went up to Nashville for a Predators game and I was so embarrassed at the condition of the room. I kept apologizing to my friend. There was nothing but constructions workers staying there. […] It was dirty and run down. It was not cheap but nor pricey either but don't stay here at all. Anywhere else would be better. Mehr

I have stayed here before and had GREAT service and accommodations unfortunately this time was not as good. The pool seemed to be not opened yet or under construction and not clean, I had a few spider webs in the ceiling corners, I didn't have hot water for my shower the last day, our smoking room did not have an ashtray, and I had forgot my pillowcase […] there (yes weird I bring my own I know) and when I called hours after I checked out I was told they were going to get t and call me back. I did not get a call back so I called the next day spoke to a different person who said he'd call me back in a few minutes...I didn't get a call back. I called back again that evening and got the original person I spoke to who admitted he tried to pass off calling me back to the next person on shift because he didn't want to tell me that they couldn't find it. Then I was upset told him we both knew that that was unacceptable and he had an hour to find it and call me back. He called back within the hour saying he had no luck finding it and he would have to wait for the Housekeeping Manager to come in the next day. Magically thought 20 minutes later they found my item and left me a message to call back with the mailing address. In all I would still give them another shot since my first stay was great. I hope this recent stay was a fluke. Mehr

This was a terrible experience! We had a 'non smoking' room that clearly was smoked in and smelled terrible as well as burn holes on everything! Pulled put the sleeper sofa and it was repulsive w trash and everythin! The receptionist was on her iPhone the ENTIRE time w a personal call and was not helpful at all! I would NLT reccomend this hotel to  […] anyone! Mehr

I booked this place because of its location between two places I needed to be in a weekend. The location was right, but the room was not clean. Hair in the tub, ugh. We were just feet from the highway. VERY loud.

We were woken up in the middle of the night by water coming thru the light from a over flowing toilet above us. We we offered to swap rooms but no money was taken off our stay as we were swapped to a room with one be when we needed two for each couple.

The service was great -very nice people, trying to help. However, in our original room, the shower wouldn't turn on, so they moved us to another room. As the 2nd of us went to take a shower, the shower curtain rod fell partly down! I could see that a lot had been done recently - things repainted, etc - and I'm working on the assumption that they're […] in the midst of updates, etc. You get a whole kitchenette - real stove, sink, fridge - a lot for the money. I will try this place one more time, and see if I'm right. The beds and set-up of the room (really, a suite) were very comfortable. Mehr

This is an older hotel, but in good condition. Close to airport, restaurants. Room was clean. Staff friendly. Continental breakfast a plus.There are many hotels in area that are newer for same price.

Dirty. Bathroom had stains on toilet seat. I asked to move rooms and the next room we got had hair in the bathtub. Ask for a bottle of cleaning solution they told me to come and get it. Don't stay here!!!!
