Arnos Manor Hotel - Bristol

Cold room, noisy road. Shower didn't work at all, bath ran so slowly didn't have time to wait for one. Room ok size, bed old and with old fashioned blankets.. Breakfast ok and plenty of food.

The hotel looks good on the Internet , but on araval It looked like it hadn't been kept in good condition The damp musty smell in corridors didn't help and there was no air-condition in my room so windows Had to be open and the nose of traffic was Terrible . The breakfast was not very nice with Concentrated orange juice insted of fresh And cold English. The […] bar food was not good ether the ale pie Mash and veg was a dish I want to forget Watery potato and meat of some description With a top hat on that's no pie!!! Mehr

I have stopped at quite a few hotels all over the country with work and Arnos Manor is one of the nicer ones. Its a classic old style building, very stylish in an old fashioned way. My room was near an elevator which was important as the hotel has a lot of stairs which could be difficult if you are not located near an elevator. Was a single room with good bath and ample room. The breakfast was excellent.

Convenient for Bristol Temple Meads, that's probably all the positives I can think of. This hotel is very old and tired, my single room was extremely basic and the standard of cleanliness was really quite poor. Quite a noisy hotel give it's location to the main road and doors, walls and floors etc. All seem to creak. a comfortable hotel with plenty that had plenty of car parking on site, a quick ride into the city centre/harbour. Staff were pushed and extra help would have been helpful at the bar in the evenings. Room was clean and comfortable. Would not hesitate in recommending or using again. D & L, Leicestershire

Rooms very old with old decor and old furniture. The water pipes make and all mighty racket if bathroom tapes turned on or toilet is flushed. It was raining during my stay and the bedroom ceiling was leaking! On a positive note, staff were very nice and breakfast was good.

fairly pleasant stay. staff could have been a bit more friendly although all our quieries were dealt with. breakfast and evening meal were nice. Ken working on the bar was especially nice.

This hotel needs a good scrub, its not just run down it is actually dirty, particularly the floor in the coridoor to the kitchen, disgusting. The breakfast room was organised chaos, tables werent cleared, unused cutlery was taken from a used table to reset another table, yuk! Had dinner in the bar one evening, not great but edible. Again table was left […] uncleared. Drinks quite expensive at the bar. Staff are very unproffessional, all students working for the summer I would assume? Didnt really seem to care what was going on. We were not asked once 'was everything ok?' Not at breakfast (two mornings), not at dinner, never at the bar, not at checkout. . . ?! Would not reccomend this hotel unless you are very stuck. Mehr

Only there one night, and this hotel was fit for purpose. There is a damp problem in the building and service was very relaxed. Other than that - have no issues, complaints or outstanding experiences.
