Das Hotel hat eine super Lage. Man gelangt direkt mit dem Lift aus der U-Bahnstation ins Hotel. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr empfehlenswert - riesen Auswahl an frischen Früchten, Waffeleisen zum Waffel selber machen, Ei, Speck und noch viel mehr!

I wasn't overly impressed by the small dated rooms. It was like being in your friend's grandma's guest room. Our black out curtains didn't close, so we were up with the sun. They had minimal towels. Super old bathtub/shower combo. Coffee shops in lobby closed at 3pm or 5pm depending on the day. For the price, it wasn't worth it. The room was very small and the mattress on the bed was way to hard didn't get a goodnights sleep at all!

The buffet is very sub-standard and super expensive. You will be better off going somewhere else and have a great breakfast for much cheaper. We were told that we were given the best view and turned out we were looking into another building and a roof top so some what misleading statements.

We had issues with the TV, the sort them out kind of half way, but we weren't there to watch TV anyways. On our walk back from the restaurant area, at the park near the hotel we saw a car with the window broken and the door open, so I guess that it's not a very good place to leave your car at night.

I have never been to Montreal, first trip ever and could not have asked for a better experience with this hotel...! Rooms are beautiful! Every convenience you need right there! Staff was awesome, friendly, very helpful.... Good work and I will return no questions asked, booking at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain!

We found the Hotel and it's staff to be very helpful and pleasant during our entire stay making it a very enjoyable stay. We found it so nice to be connected to the Metro with access to shopping the Bell Centre very helpful. The staff was so accomidating when we asked to have a late check out (this was included with no extra cost and this is so nice […] given you usually have a hard time getting a late check out, not to mention without an extra charge!) We will have no problem choosing this to be our destination recommendation hotel for future trips to Montreal as well as sharing our recommendation to friends and family. Mehr

My husband and I stayed here for one night in February 2013. We arrived around dinner time and thanks to the excellent downtown location of the hotel we were able to safely walk around and enjoy downtown Montréal in the evening. We happened to be visiting during the Montréal En Lumiere festival and enjoyed the festival followed by dinner at a nearby […] restaurant then had an extremely comfortable relaxing evening in the hotel. The amenities in the room were wonderful from the wine glasses so that we could enjoy a lovely bottle of Merlot to the Bath and Bodyworks aromatherapy products in the bathroom and the lovely fluffy bed. Plus, The views from this hotel just can't be beat! All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, the service was outstanding. Mehr

Hotell stay wonderful. disappointed in a) no ramp to roll suitcases up to the front door ???!!!! only stairs !!! b) Slush and snow not cleared away ... puddles and slush and salt all over stairs and front driveway .. that is very disappointing considering that the hotel next door had doormen with squuegees mopping away slush and salt !

This hotel is right in the middle of downtown. Tons of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.. within 2 blocks. If you are attending an event at the Bell Centre its right next door. The only minor complaint we had was the heat in our room. We like a cool room to sleep in but no matter what we set the thermostat at the temp never dropped below 72. Funny thing […] was we over heard some people who were on our floor complain their room was too cold. Like I said that is just a minor complaint. The hotel was great. Very clean and very well located since you could take the subway without having too step outside. There was a lot of boutique for shopping. Unfortunetely, we had reserved a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived, we were informed that none was available but we would get a king size bed with a roll away bed. We agreed and went out […] for supper. When we came back, the roll away bed was not there and we were to tired to call the reception and complained. Overall our stay was still enjoyable but we might have stayed elsewhere since our reason to stay at this hotel was the availabiliy of two queen beds. Mehr

Great hotel and just round the corner from Bell Centre where we went to a concert. A 20 minute walk to Old Montreal or you could take the metro that was linked to the hotel. We will return to the Marriott on our return trip. Great rooms with plenty of space a comfy bed.

I was very pleased with Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. This was my 4th trip to Montreal an was by far the best. I wanted to take my brother up for the weekend for his first Montreal experience an wanted to stay at one of the nicer hotels. The Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain is a grade A resort in my book. Everything you want,need, and then […] some. It was in the perfect location, rooms were awesome, nice pool an jacuzzi. The staff went beyond the need to show us were to go an how to get there. Good experience overall, exc for customer service OK but will not go the extrastep to help client. The parking experience was awful costly and was not able to get out the parking lot as both ticket machine did not work well. Parking attendant not proactive...not able to help; even when paid cash did not give back the money....as she did not have any […] change! Pricely $25 per day! Mehr

Overall a very good experience. The Marriot was easy to find upon arrival and was presented very well. Room was clean and quite comfortable. Subway was easy to access, making getting around no problem. Walking to St. Catherines or other streets also was easy and enjoyable as there is a large park and beautiful old buildings adjacent. We had problems with extreme noise from the room next to ours during the stay. All night long visitors were coming and knocking on the door. They appeared 16 to 20 years old. We reported this at checkout.

I guess because it was New Year's Eve there was a action at the hotel, saw some people getting arrested and a young couple on our floor arguing at 3 am about a dozen police officers in front of my door at 3 am but despite everything it was a decent stay, room was small but clean and tidy, bathrooms are extremely small

We had a great time here at this hotel. We did not realize that this hotel is in the heart of the downtown core. Because it was December, it was very cold, and the convenience of having the underground access to the malls and the central station was fantastic. The comfort of the bed was great, and the room was spectacular minus the small washroom. I […] had gotten the deluxe package which included the breakfast and h'ordevuers but I was a little disappointed that I had to continue to go to the front desk to get my coupon that I was entitled to free breakfast and snacks. The hot breakfast was fabulous and the room service were very nice. The staff were friendly the entire time. The amentities were terrific such as the pool and hot tub and the gym, didn't do the spa, but I would stay here again definitely. The Marriott chain never seems to disappoint. Mehr
