"Tolles Hotel - viel Schein, weniger Sein"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Jan. 2013Beurteilung immer in Abhängigkeit des Preises: Sauberkeit i.O., bei genauen hinsehen Staub, Kratzer und Abnutzung obwohl das Hotel relativ neu. Ausstattung nur zum Teil nutzbar wie z.B. Fernseher im Spiegel ohne Funktion (warum baut man dann sowas), Fehler konnte nicht behoben werden. Dusche war eher ein Rinnsal. Servicequalität: Kredit Karte ist bei CheckIn immer Pflicht, Hinweis das Kosten bei Abreise Cash bezahlt werden wurde "vergessen". Aber - Blick toll, Lage für die Innenstadt toll, freundliche Dienstleister, gute Organisation.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Jan. 2013Das Hotel macht schon von aussen einen guten Eindruck. Es befindet sich zwar an einem Hwy, doch davon bekommt man drinnen nichts mit. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet was man für eine Übernachtung nach einem langen Flug braucht, vor allem aber waren sie sauber und ruhig. Weder am Abendessen, noch am Frühstück gab es irgendetwas auszusetzen. Wir hatten keine großen Erwartungen an das Hotel, dafür wurden wir positiv überrascht.

I must say that some of the reviews of this hotel had me a little worried, but once we arrived and got checked in the worries were gone. Check-in and check-out were very quick and efficient. I had no problems, therefore no need to deal with the hotel staff beyond that. The lobby was very nice and the breakfast each morning was very good, with a different […] hot entree each day. We stayed there for several days. The maid skipped cleaning our room. When we returned late in the evening and found the room had not been cleaned we called he front desk because we needed towels. They had me come to the front desk for towels which was not a big deal expect the front desk manager was rude and sarcastic. My stay was quite comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The couch in the suite was unusable. Sitting on it resulted in sinking to a dramatically low level due to cushions that were worn out. The TV cannot be seen from the work desk, and the desk chair blocked access to the closet because there is very little room between […] foot of the bed and the desk. The exercise room does not provide antibacterial cleaning for use after exercising. No way to clean up after coughing, sneezing. Still, I would stay here again. We chose this hotel on a last minute trip to Dallas and were pleased to get a good rate. The hotel was very clean, but showing its wear. Peeling corners of wallpaper, ruts in the hallway carpet from the housekeeping carts, nothing terrible, but just needs some love. The breakfast was good, eggs, bacon, waffles & assorted fruits & cereals. The coffee […] was standard hotel bilge but passable to get me to Starbucks. There was a dog, of all things, barking from within the hotel. I called the office and they promptly attempted to locate the source. He offered to move us to a different room, but we chose to wait a bit to see if they'd be successful in removing the noisy pooch. By 10PM dog barking was silenced. Walls are a bit on the thin side, as we could hear the radio/tv from one of the surrounding rooms and the bed was quite firm (good if you like a hard bed-personal preference). Would I stay there again? Possibly for a quick stay. I don't think I could sleep on the bed more than a night or two, but again, that's preference. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, although you could tell that the hotel was an older hotel. I would have liked to have seen a little better quality of soaps and shampoos, but the items were just fine. The breakfast was very nice, and suited our needs perfectly. The hotel sits back a little way from the expressway access road, which made it nice and quiet, but a little hard to find. They triple charged my credit card after checking me in on someone elses' reservation. Upkeep of the hotel is generally good, with a few minor cracks in the bathroom tile, stains, etc. that are to be expected. Staff were businesslike but not overly demonstrative. The breakfast area is an open space in the lobby, which was satisfactory but meant people were constantly coming in and out of the building while others were eating. "Suitable for single or family stay."
I have stayed about 20 days in this hotel and I would absolutely stay again. It doesn't have any luxury but have all the requirements in the most simple way. The only problem I have had was about the Internet connection, I need to get connected and keep connected to the Internet because of my job in most of the time and the Internet connection get […] disconnected at least several times per hour. It really creates problem during the web conferences and doesn't get recovered sometimes about up to 5 to 10 minutes. I think they use sbacco connection and this is the problem. Also their swimming pool is smaller than the images. I haven't swam but I have seen people and children swimming several times. They have breakfast, it is the same breakfast every morning and have all I need. Also in the happy hour which is at 17.30 they serve soft drinks or beers with some snacks. Also its location was important for me and it is besides the i75 which earns me time in accessing most of the places. The disadvantage of location is the sound coming from highway.
