Four Points by Sheraton Fairview Heights - Fairview Heights

The stay was not a good exprience at all. The clerk at check-in was not dressed professionally. There was another employee that was speaking to the clerk when I began to check-in and the employee was not professionally dressed either. Their clothes were wrinkled and too tight to wear at work. The room was not properly cleaned. The walls in the room […] were filthy and the toilet shoots water at you when you flush. There was a couple of bugs in the room and when I called to the front desk to report the issue I received no response. The foot rest in the room was dirty with bleach and other stains. The soda machine was out of certain sodas and the noise level was ridiculous. There is no sound barrier between the floors and this causes all the noise from the people above to travel downward. This is a safety hazzard. I will never stay at this filthy hotel again. The staff was tacky and so was the room. I am so disappointed that this is a representation of Sheraton. Mehr

The air conditioner didn't function properly in our room, and it was rather warm. It was ok, but I have stayed in nicer places for less money. I will pick a different hotel the next time I am in town.

The bath tub in my room was old,worn, and rusty. I could not take a bath if I wanted to which was a major inconvience.

We have stayed here before and we will stay here again, nice hotel close to good food and shopping.

The lobby looks good, but the room was not cleaned well. There were items left on the floor from former guests. The bed was ok and the sheets seemed clean, but the surfaces of the room were nasty. Very disappointed.

The hotel staff was nice. However, our key never worked and finally the housekeeper let us in with a master key and we never received one of our own. The air conditioner did not work and we had to call maintenance, it turned out to be bad batteries in the thermostat. The bed linens were stained and the bathroom had mold. My mom stayed at this hotel and she really enjoyed her stay, she said I did a good job picking this hotel... kudos!

Nice property. Very busy hotel. Service never suffered!!

Nothing fancy, just generic rooms, with no extras (except wifi). Reception on tv was terrible, the cleaning woman knocks on door at 8 am. Maybe she should check with the front desk to see whom is there. Plus the hotel might of had 50 people there. If you want a basic hotel, this is it.

1st stay in Nov 2011 was fantastic. This time was below average. They are skipping the details that make this a choice for returning customers. Mostly housekeeping deficiencies... Worn linens, lack of pool towels, dirty hallways, etc. Voiced concerns to front desk - received apathetic response. We'll just stay somewhere else next time...

Great Staff...Great Food...and a GREAT place to stay!! I'll Be back!!

The stay at the motel was very nice. The rooms were clean. The Hotel is located near various eating places, which my favorite is Captain Joe's Seafood. The Hotel is close to the Mall and movie theater. You can order room sevice or have a full buffet breakfast or order off of the menu. The young who seemed in charge of the breakfast was extra nice. Very disappointed, especially with unclean toilet, no toilet paper, lobby floor that didn't get cleaned either day we were there. Others in our party experienced the same problems in their rooms. Expected much more at a Sheridan hotel. Booked online through hotels.com but had to wait 45 minutes before the desk clerk was able to "find" my room. Excellent hotel!! Very clean, all hosts and staff very helpful. Would highly reccommend and will stay here again!!!

everything was nice and clean. the clerks were nice and informative. very personable. they could have had a continental breakfast for they guests that didn't want to by a $ breakfast buffet. my room was clean, no extras. other hotels I've stayed at for the same price had a micowave and refrigerator. we did have the basics every day. location was good. […] malls were only a few blocks away. overall, our stay was ok for an older hotel. Stayed here for a family funeral, was great access to airport, clean facilities. The Brunch staff was awesome, not a huge selection but delicious, fresh, clean and friendly. We asked for a crib when we called from the airport to confirm our reservation late in the evening and it was set up, waiting with clean sheets. We would stay here again.

The caulk at the at the tub to wall interface was was black with mold. Additionally upon entering the bathroom we found a dirty wash cloth in the tub.

My husband and I went down to St. Louis for are 5 year anniversary and we had a great time. The Four Point hotel is a great place to stay. From the time, we walked in friendly staffs greeted us. During are stay I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. I am big on customer service and they need to pat themselves to the back because they […] did a great job. The hotel is also in a good location for a variety of restaurants and stores. Most of our activities were about 20 minutes from the hotel, which is about average travel time in other city that we have visited. I will seek out this chain when I visit other locations. Mehr

We were on our way to a reunion and decided to spend the night in Fairview Heights, IL. I had booked the room on hotels.com earlier in the day. When we got to the hotel, they didn't have the room that I booked because of a wedding at the hotel. The desk clerk was so apologetic for the mistake and upgraded our room to a suite. I really enjoyed their restaurant, but did not anticipate a "incidental" hold on my credit card that takes 5-7 business days to remove; regardless of how the room was left. Standard policy I guess.

The hotel was very easy to get to. Speedy, friendly check in. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but needed more pillows. The bathroom was clean but could use updating. Overall, a great hotel for a good price. I will stay there again.

I reserved the room using hotels.com My room was clean & comfortable, but I was a little irritated that only 1 bed in the double bed room had a comforter on the bed. (I stayed at this hotel for 7 days and they NEVER put a comforter on the second bed!!) I was also irritated that the room I was assigned was right next to the entry door for the main hallway... […] everytime someone went in/out that door, I would hear the door slam very loudly!! (I asked to be moved to another room, but was told that there wasn't any other room available). Another curious thing is that the hotel syas that it provides free Wi-Fi but when I made use of it, it had ALWAYS took me to a homepage that made me agree to the "terms of use", and after doing so, it told me that I had "X" amount of time remaining on my Wi-Fi connection. It almost seemed as if they only alotted 2 hours - per day of actual hotel stay!! Other than those few annoying inconveniences, I found the hotel staff to be friendly and the stay to be enjoyable. The price we got for the motel room kind of got over shadowed by the noise. You could hear everything from every where. Even the people outside. The bathroom was a little worn. And the price for a buffet breakfast was outrageous. They had pancake syrup on the buffet but you had to pay extra on top of the $9.00 for them.

The hotel was convenient for the price...clean room ...but the service wasn't great...had to wait an hour for towels at the pool ....stayed 2 nights but maid didn't empty trash ....and 1 dollar charge for local calls which they don't tell you about.....could have been worse I guess.....

I arrived at the hotel on a busy holiday weekend. the front desk staff is GREAT and accomodating. my room, the lobby and the elevators were dirty. I had no bath towels. the temp control in the room was not working. the carpet in my room was wet in spots. I brought all of the problems to the front desk staff and they were accomodating, but I was at the […] desk with issues 3 times in 40 hours. housekeeping throws the bedspreads and pillows on the floor when they are making the beds with room doors open. I never heard a vacuum cleaner run which is what this hotel needs. the indoor pool was not monitored by the staff at all. I would have thought that the hotel would have increased the staff for a busy holiday weekend. Mehr

We arrived early and had to wait on a room, then at 3 when it was check-in time, we still did not have a room available. 4:00 it was finally ready. There was suppose to be free internet, it did not work in our room. We made 3 phone calls to IT and still no internet, if we took our laptop to our son's room, or the lobby we could access, but not in our […] room. We did not get a "sorry for the inconvenience" from anyone about any of these issues. We went to the pool, and while 3 adults and two children were in the water, one maintenance worker came to "check" the water and proceeded to add chemicals. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Very nice hotel and the staff was excellent will stay there again.

We had a great time at Fourwinds Sheraton. The help was very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the patio with our friends. There are alot of places to visit right in the area. My friends and I will go back, soon!

My stay at the Sharaton was overall very enjoyable. I arrived on a Saturday to find the lobby full of a wedding party attempting to take pictures with a photographer. I'm understanding that the hotel had not planned on the photo session moving inside due to the weather. Arriving with a young soccer team and trying to get checked in, I was a bit dismayed […] that the photographer "shooed" the girls out the door as the automatic doors were creating drafts. The girls were quiet and trying to stay out of the way. The desk clerk should have advised the photographer to find another spot. I literally was directed through a back door and checked in behind the counter due to the space constraints with the photo session and wedding party. Mehr

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Maids failed to empty trash can first two days and did not replenish wash cloths. The room was large, abd clean, and the beds comfortable. There are several nice eateries in the area including the one at the hotel. The location was convenient to conducting my business. The no hassel express pay through Hotels.com […] was great! Mehr

Simply one of the best hotel experiences I've had!

When we arrived to check in at 9:00 PM, we had to wait for the front desk clerk to return. She was supposedly cleaning a room, for others that were waiting at the front desk. We waited for around 30 minutes, to actually check into our room. The clerk was kind enough to upgrade our room.

Loved the motel. Large, clean, and comfortable room. Very courteous service. Easy to locate. Quiet. The beds and pillows were wonderful. My only uh-oh moment was on the receipt when I saw it stated 3 nights; but the price WAS only for one night and the clerk stated only one night had been reserved so that was either an error or some type of billing […] glitch. The lobby of your hotel was very beautiful. Once I made it to the room I was more and more dissatisfied the farther I made it. The comforter on the bed looked older than I am and there were cigarette burns on it, the love seat was old, saggy and smelled, the bathroom smelled like some kind of nasty something, and there was no exhaust fan in the room […] to even get rid of the smell. I used to be the front desk manager of the Hampton Inn and Suites so I know what to look for as far as cleanliness. I pulled the bedding down to look to see if it had been changed and there was hair everywhere. The bed was very uncomfortable and so were the huge pillows. I didn't even sleep under the covers, because I was so uncomfortable with the state of the room. I used the extra blanket in the closet because it looked like it was actually clean. The coffee table was covered in dust and one of the legs was so bent it looked like it was going to fall over. The batteries in my remote were dead and when I called for new batteries I got them THREE hours later. The people at the front desk were very nice, I must say. But besides that I was very disappointed. I came to your hotel for a night to my self. I just had a baby 11 months ago and wanted a night to spend by myself to re-coop but instead I was more stressed when I got home. I told the people about the problems at the front desk but they said that since I booked on Expedia there was nothing they could do. What an awful experience!!! Mehr

Great experience from the moment I walked through the front doors until I left. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I arrived a little earlier than expected and my room was clean and ready. The following morning I had a business appointment that required me to be away from the hotel until near normal checkout time. Wanting to have an opportunity […] to change my clothing before catching my flight out, I requested a late checkout which was honored with no questions asked. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to the Fairview Heights area. A+ experience! Mehr
