"Hotel for the Money"
Good clean room and outdoor pool. But the cable tv at the hotel is not very good.
"Won't stay again"
The bathroom floor was dirty, the t.v reception was extremely poor and they only have network channels. The lady at the front desk offered to move us to another room and gave us a key to check out the room. There were dirty clothes hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

"Americas Best Value Inn/ Grand Rivers Ky."
This is a nice place and in a pretty setting. The problem was. 1. There were dirty wash cloths over the shower rod from some other person.

Following an 8 hour drive after a 8 hour work day, we needed a quick 7 hour sleep spot. This motel was in the right spot at the right time. Right off the interstate with a gas station next door. The gentleman at the front desk was annoying. He charged my credit card for an already pre-paid night. I thought he needed the card for incidentals. After the […] hassle of crediting my account, we checked into the room. Minutes later he called the room asking us"what are you doing with the dogs". Our to dogs travel with us frequently. They snuggly sleep in their large travel kennels, inside the car. They did not step foot in the room and we were already being accused of sneaking them in. Hey buddy, I saw the pet sign at the desk. I was not going to pay an extra $20.00 for a quick 7 hour nap. The room was clean, beds satisfactory. We slept, we showered and we drove away most likely not to return. Mehr
"not what i thought"
for starters when we arrived my husband went to check in but the lady claimed that we had not made reservations and was a little rude about it. i had to let her know we had booked online and then she looked it up and realized we did in fact have reservations..makes me think that our room could have been given away since she had not been keeping up with […] the online reservations (evidently the computer system wasnt working or non existant so the information was faxed to the hotel)...the room was ok but not great..for me the beds were really comfortable but for my husband not so much..the walls seemed paper thin. you could hear people walking, children running bumping into walls etc(we were on the bottom floor) I litterally woke up every hour on the hour due to noise...we love the area just not the hotel... "NOT AS ADVERTISED"
Directory for the motel rates itself as well above average compared to it's other locations. TV audio and picture were inadequate and there was no HBO eventhough advertised for all locations.

"Very Good Stopover Hotel"
The location of this hotel just off the highway is very good. Getting to it is a little confusing because you have to drive through a gas station to get to the lobby, but very convenient to gas up in the morning before heading back to the highway. Very clean, very comfortable and very reasonable. We were too late for breakfast so cant comment on that. […] Not much around the hotel for restaurants, only 1. But the town is only 6 miles away and it has all the amenities, so not a big issue. Mehr

Overall it is not a bad hotel. I usually stay with my parnts in Kutawa when I visit, but my dad surprised his wife by renewing vows on their anniversary, so staying with ther would have ruined the surprrise

Stayed here because of a good experience 3 years earlier when this was a Best Western. We reserved 2 rooms for a family trip First room had the A/C unit disassembled all over the floor. Had to go back to the desk to get another room. Second room had dirty sheets on one bed - grass clippings and somthing dried and crusty. Had to go back to the desk for […] replacement sheets. Stripped the bed and found some disgusting dried substance on the mattress. Kids spent the night in the other bed together. There are better choices in the area. Mehr

This is a great place to stay when your fishing the Grand Rivers area! The staff is really helpful and work hard to make your stay pleasant.

America's Best Value Inn in Grand Rivers, KY. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice & willing to help you out. I had a minor difficulty when checking (my own fault), and the woman at the front desk worked with me & resolved the problem. I was very happy with my stay here.
