Helpfull staff, nice facilities, pool and hottub..

My husband and I (in our low 30's) were a bit skeptical about this hotel because it is not in the center of the town and the reviews about the shuttle. Well, our Mountain view room was perfect for us. It was a remodeled apartment with stainless steal appliances, nice granite counter tops, a balcony with a nice brand new grill and a fire place. Flat […] screen TVs and full cable. Definately the best price for the money if you are looking to save and cook, given the that town itself is pricy. We didn't do any cooking but it was convenient to go by the near by supermarket and get stuff to munch on in the morning or for a late snack. The shuttle is punctual, every minutes there is a bus, and the hotel is just a 15min ride from the center of the town. The hotel staff was super nice, and has all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, even offers free aerobics and yoga classes, which I didn't take advantage. Overall, a nice place to crash after a tiring day of skiing and a perfect place to stay with a group or family. Mehr

I was a little hesitant to stay out on the east end of Vail because it seemed too far out but I quickly changed my mind! The setting was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. We made use of the spa every night after a world class day of skiing. I'll definitely go back again. And again. And again . . .

Great health club, pool, etc. about 5 miles from ski area and bus system a pain - otherwise $25 to park and walk a 1/2 mile to the slopes.

The location was not so great, but I guess the low price pays for the bus ride you have to take to the ski lifts every day and back.

The size of the space was perfect, although kind of stuck in a time warp. Bedroom, living/dining area, kitchen were all quite lovely. Main draw-back....toilet/shower area was postage stamp size. Not too far from skiing (by car) and restaurants/shopping. Public transportation available right at the condo. There were other facilities/services available […] which we did not use...gym, massages, restaurant, coffee shop, retail shop. Mehr

My son and I stayed in a 2 bedroom / 2 bath unit that appeared to have been recently renovated. The unit had a full kitchen with new appliances and a full stock of dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The living room had a nice fireplace with plenty of free firewood. The floors were nicely tiled with slate or wall to wall carpeting. The heating […] was a very comfortable radiant system. The club is located about 4 miles from Vail. The Vail bus stops right out front and was a very convenient way to travel to the mountain. My son used the nicely appointed gym each day and we both enjoyed the hot tub. There was also a nice outdoor hot tub and heated pool that we did not use. We also had a nice dinner one night in their restaurant which was reasonably priced for Vail. We have no complaints about this place, however the snow conditions could have been better. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Mehr

The condos are well maintained and the rooms are serviced each day, they bring fresh towels each day, etc. They don't replenish the firewood automatically, you have to call each morning. Overall, it's a clean, comfy ski condo. Like everything in Vail, it's expensive, and we feel like we overpaid, but our kids had a nice ski vacation, which is what we […] wanted. Mehr

We had a very nice stay in early ski season. The rates are very competitive compared to close in and the shuttle is convenient and FREE. Its best to get on at the Racquet Club stop out front because its one of the first stops and you'll get a seat. Parking in close will cost you. Each room is different so its luck of the draw. Ours was OK but the toilet […] was weak and the bed slats had dropped. If your there to ski, then your room is primarily a place to flop and get ready to go out to eat. Free wifi was nice. The hotel bar and restaurant were pretty nice but not similarly inexpensive as compared to close to the hill. Worth a try if there a few nights. OVerall a great value and convenient location even though four miles out from Vail Village. The onl site staff are very friendly and helpful - nothing but nice things to say about the crew. There is a small grocery about a mile down the road for sundries. Its a long and tough walk to the Vail Village lifts from the shuttle drop (or parking) so recommend you carry boots and use the baskets at the base. Store your skis and boots at the base at night. If will cost a little but you won't be smoked by the time you get to the lift. If you insist on walking with boots and skis, take the elevator down at the shuttle drop. Mehr

Condo was nicely decorated, well-equipped kitchen, loved the wood-burning stove, great king-size bed. This was a wonderfully comfortable home-like place. Brought the family ( 9 adult, 2 kid) for dinner at the Alpine. Entire staff, including the chef, went way out to make sure we had great service and wonderful food. Absolutely loved my condo. Perfect for our family, my teenagers loved the beds in the loft.

Outstanding offseason accomadations and price. Very comfortable, quick drive to Vail village, well-stocked kitchen, alongside a lovely walking trail. Only downside: weak shower head and low water pressure in the master bathroom. Highly recommended.

We LOVED our condo here. We were on an end unit so we had a completely wrap around porch facing the river and mountains. We couldn't get enough of the view. Pool was great. Condo was just remodeled and we couldn't have asked for better. Had 2 adults and 2 young children and it was perfect!

The place we were at was great. I was a little away from the main town about 3 miles or so, 6 miles from the supermarket. The local bus came by every hour if you did not want to drive anywhere. The place had a full kitchen which we used. The place was slightly dated in design from the 90's but was clean. It did feel like a home away from home. I would […] stay there again. The fireplace was nice and plenty of wood was provided. If more was needed a call to the front desk would supply you with more. The only downside of the stay was the outdated TVs. Both were old CRTs in the apartment/condo that we were in and the window dressings (curtains) could have been better. One could look into the apt through the sides of them standing at the front door as well as they were a little hard to operate the cords... they kept sticking. Mehr

Great rate at a very nice property.

This Condominium Complex in the Raquet Club is located in a quiet and serene place some 10 minutes from Vail ski slopes. Great place to be after a day of skiing and dining. My sons and I truly enjoyed our time in this place I recommend this rental location.

The EAST Vail Racquet Club and Condominium is 5 miles from Vail but is a nice place to take your family because of the hospitality of the front desk, the nice pool and hot tub areas, and it is in a safe neighborhood. The Vail bus line stop is directly across the road from the hotel. We didn't use the bus as it would've been crowded and take a half hour […] to reach the ski area. We were disappointed that we couldn't take our beverage of choice down to the hot tub and pool after skiing all day unless we bought it in the hotel bar. That is one of the main reasons we chose to stay in a condominium complex vs. a hotel. Trying to cut costs when we can! The unit we stayed in had been remodeled but I can't figure out the cheap shower head??? Overall, an average stay in a nice area of East Vail. Mehr

Great condo, but absolutely could not adjust heat properly...maintenance came out three times, but it was never fixed. We woke up and it was reading a frigid 62 , even though it was set at 70. Next time it was a sweltering 76, even though it was set at 70. We expected a refund for the trouble, but haven't gotten a response.

The unit and complex were very nice! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Transportation system in Vail made the distance from the mountain less of an issue.

We were quite pleased with our stay at the Vail Racquet Club. We had 2 queen rooms/2 full bathrooms for 2 couples, and both rooms were comfortable and clean. Plenty of storage in the built-in closets/drawers. We loved the wood burning fireplace...and wood was provided! The location was great as we were steps from the bus stop. Wished we had time for […] the hot tub/heated pool, but didn't. My only complaint is they state in the rules "no outside liquor" because they want you to buy it from them (we didn't), and we only got 1 small packet of coffee the first day, and none the rest of the mornings!! All four of us are coffee drinkers, so we tracked some down on our own! Still, loved this place and would definitely stay here again. Mehr

The hotel is very well located - free guest parking and the bus stop is about 3mins away, where the free shuttle comes frequently to send guests to Vail Mountain. Guests also get to use the club facilities, which include the fitness center, hot tubs, swimming pools and shower & towel facilities. Customer service was excellent throughout our stay. […] They even allowed us to use the shower facilities at the club on the same afternoon after we checked out, because we told them we would still like to go skiing that day. The room has a fireplace, gas grill, and all other kitchen equipment you can think of - dishwasher, blender, measuring cups etc. The bedroom also had a humidifier, which was nice. My only complains are: (1) the pull out sofa bed was not in the best condition. The spring mattress was lumpy and sagged in the middle. (2) the TV in the room though not tiny, is a little small by today's LCD standards. It's probably 28 or 32inches. (3) No free wireless internet. It costs $9.99/day or $24/99/week, and only one computer can log on at one time. Plus it is slow. There is free internet in the lobby but after a long day outdoors, all we want to do is to be able to hang out in our rooms and be on our laptops... I would love to see this changed. (4) Cable TV is sometimes intermittent. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay, and I would go back again. Mehr

This hotel was a great choice. A wonderful value in Vail abd the free shuttle to the mountain could not have been easier. The room was great with a big fully equiped kitchen and washer and dryer. Our 2-bed, 2-bath was perfect for 4 people. The only downside was that we were in Bldg 1 and it was too far to hike to the hot tub at the main bldg so we never […] got to use it. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say. Would def stay again. Mehr

Nice place in East Vail, not right on the slopes, which was ok for us. It made it a moderate pain getting into Vail because we had to use the bus, but as the place is on the far East side of Vail you don't have to worry about getting a seat on the bus. But the bus does take about 15 minutes to get to Vail. The food establishment at the place was great. […] Gabe was awesome and hooked us up with some great seats. Mehr

Great place to stay. The hot tub was sweet. Easy access to and from the slopes with the bus. Early enough in the stops to get a seat even on a busy saturday. A few stops after ours the bus was jam packed and people couldn't get on. Highly recommend staying here. Not the nicest place in Vail but nice enough. Probably the best bang for the buck you can […] find in town. Highly recommend getting hammered and catching the last bus back at 2 am with all of the other drunkards on a friday night. You have to get breakfast at the travel lodge diner in Mintner, doesn't look like much from the outside but when you walk in you warp back to the 50's and the food was excellent. Mehr

This was an ideal place to stay for our ski vacation. Great and clean 2 BR condo right across from the pool and 50' from the free Vail bus (since it is the end of the line, you always get a seat). People were super friendly and the 2 hot tubs (one adults only) were relaxing after a day on the slopes. The restaurant on site was wonderful too. Elegant […] downstairs with a fun bar up (with reasonably priced bar food). We would rate our stay a 10+. Mehr

Room was clean and very nice condition. The hotel staff was awesome. Was having issues with reservation and they jumped all over it and made the complete vacation fantastic. Only beef is that the highway (I-70) is very close. Can't hear traffic from inside condo, but a little noisy on the back porch. Overal, great place and you can't go wrong choosing […] this for any vacation. Mehr

I called in advance, asked about early check in and late check-out, which wasn't a problem since it was off-season. Great place - heated pool, gym, steam room, sauna. The unit was nice and clean and we used the grill outside. At one point we had to ask for a maintenance guy, who came over quickly and fixed the issues fast. There is not a single bad […] thing I can say about this place! Mehr

We were lucky to get an end unit with plenty of parking, but beware if you have a middle unit and 1 car too many. Limited parking spaces per unit. The place was cozy and comfortable.

Was here for a wedding. The amenities were wonderful, and it was close to everything (except a large grocery store) that we needed.
