Hotel Buon Pesce - Venedig 45.42566, 12.37847

Like other travellers have already mentioned this hotel is a lot more than half a mile from the vaporetta. It is around a 20-25 minute walk but there is a very good bus service which runs from outside the hotel to the boats and takes 5 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable but the rooms are a little on the small side. The hotel is located right on the sea front so that there are some lovely views over the lagoon. It is also very easy to get to the beach on the Lido which means it is a good hotel option for those who want to see Venice itself and have some time on the beach.

The hotel is located on Lido Island about a 20 minute water taxi ride from the city of Venice. Lido Island is a beautiful island with its own town. Our room was spacious with a nice size bathroom.

I stayed here for my trip from 4/17-4/21/09. This hotel was very nice. Great value for the price too... It's situated on the north end of the Lido island and has a very nice view of the lagoon. There is a bus stop right outside and the bus comes every 20 minutes or so to take you to the waterbus. Be aware that it does take at least 30-40 minutes to get to the main island area from this hotel. Our room was very clean and bright. Quite large for a hotel room in Europe actually. They serve a breakfast each morning which was nice. My only complaint is that I had emailed the hotel specifically to ask if we could have breakfast on their terrace outside. They responded that we could provided it wasn't raining. Well, our first morning there was beautiful and when we went outside to sit and eat, the waitress wouldn't let us and told us we had to come inside. I was very upset about that because first, they said we could, and second because it rained every other day we were there. Aside from that I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone headed for Venice.

Last stop on the water taxi but worth the trip. Excellent staff, nice breakfast buffet. Room was clean, quiet. Only real negative was the tiny bathroom (an add on to the room) Overall a good experience.

It a 20 min walk from the centre of Lido island but excellent if you want to visit the north end and the quiet end of the beach. Rooms at the front, though not very large have great views at sunset.

l'hotél est très bien situé, proche des transport, de la plage de lido .. etc, avec une très belle vue sur la lagune .. un très beau paysage qu'on a vraiment apprécié .. les chambres sont propres et confortables .. seuls hic le service, les hotesses ne sont pas vraiment aimables et le petit déjeuner n'est pas assez copieux :D .. en général, j'ai trop aimé l'hotél et sa position sur l'ile de lido, j'y retournerai sans hésitation

Hotellet är beläget på norra delen av Lido och för att ta sig in till Venedig krävdes både buss och båt (ca 25 min totalt). Enligt beskrivning skall det gå färja 50 m från hotellet men så var inte fallet. Men kan man leva med avståndet och inte kräver jättemycket av hotellet så är detta klart prisvärt.

Det stod: balkong på alle rom. Det er ikke tilfelle. Ellers var det ok avstand til Venezia, lett å finne frem, god frokost og veldig ok hotell å bo på generellt
