Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

Hotel und Zimmer absolut OK, Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Teile der Designausstattung wirken etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber alles technisch OK und sauber. Lage zum Zentrum (untere Marketstreet) gerade noch zu Fuß zu bewältigen (ca. 2km)

Unsere erste Anlaufstation nach der Ankunft in San Francisco war für 2 Nächte das Best Western Coyote Point Inn in San Mateo. Das Hotel ist nur 6 km vom Airport unmittelbar neben dem Highway 101 gelegen. Eine Schallschutzwand hält den stärksten Lärm ab, absorbiert den Schall aber nicht zu 100%. In der näheren Umgebung (Walking-Distance) gibt es leider […] keine Restaurants, so dass man, wie es in den Vereinigten Staaten üblich ist, immer auf das Auto angewiesen ist. Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich. Es steht den ganzen Tag kostenlos Tee und Kaffee zur Verfügung. Die Räume sind sehr geräumig und gepflegt, so dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Der Pool ist sehr klein und wurde von uns nicht genutzt. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr geräumig und bot allen Gästen Platz. Das kostenlose Frühstück wurde im umfangreicher als üblich (inklusive frisch gebackener Waffeln angeboten). Das Hotel ist für Ausflüge in das nah gelegene San Francisco (ca. 15 km) ideal gelegen, wenn man die hohen Hotelpreise in SF vermeiden möchte. Wir würden das Hotel wieder nutzen. Mehr
"Clean Hotel but close to the freeway"
The room was very clean and large. The breakfast buffet had juice, coffee, tea, cereales, bread for toast and self-made waffles. The negative aspect was that the hotel is in front of the 101 freeway and the rooms are a bit noisy. "close to other hotels of same price range"
Was an older hotel with remodel that made it nicer than some of the older hotels. Room was a little noisy but I have had worse (mostly outside street noise). Desk staff wasn't very helpful with information about the area. Breakfast was the normal waffles, toast, pastry, yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet my room was considering this hotel is right alongside Hwy. 101. The front desk clerk was friendly and professional at check-in. Parking in their lot is free and they have an underground garage which is more spacious. The room was very clean and furnished nicely. Peaceful and quiet, even after 10pm I heard no noise […] in hallway. The bed was semi-firm. Nice bathroom. Frig, microwave, coffeemaker too! Adequate breakfast served in AM consisting of make-your-own waffles, yogurt, fruit, muffins (bagged), juices, coffee, all Free! "New 'go-to' bay area hotel"
We booked this hotel totally last minute. When we arrived, I realized that we had stayed there before through Park & Fly and really enjoyed it. This visit was no different. The room was very clean and if you can believe it, the beds are super comfortable! Good location to restaurants just a couple of miles away. Will definitely stay there again!

This hotel was great for exploring San Francisco. It's only a few minutes from the Millbrae BART station which is about a 30 minute ride to the center of downtown. Once downtown, you can take the Muni anywhere. The hotel is very clean and the room was spotless. "Worst one night stay ever"
Hotel was great but people in next room were SCREAMING AND YELLING (apparently the male had psychological problems and woke up and banged furniture and yelled at top of lungs) at 2 a.m. and continued to be loud until we left at 4 a.m. to catch a flight..worst one night stay ever! Security never showed up.
Price was jacked up due to a convention taking place in area.

This was a graet hotel!!! the beds were VERY clean and so was the room. The room came w/ a fridge, a m-wave,a safe, and a coffee pot. also included in the price was a GREAT!!!! BREAKFAST!! I'm talkin waffles, 3, different kinds of breakfast cerial, fresh fruit, 3 different fruit jucies, bagels, muffins and lot's more!!! all in all are experience was […] GREAT!! The staff was great; helpful and friendly. The room was clean; and the bed was comfortable. Two complaints; The lighting in the room is motion sensored; so the lights either went off while I was in the shower or blinded me when I walked into a certain area of the room. Light swtiches - the old fashion kind would have been great for the bathroom. I […] was located on the 4th Floor; which apparently is the 'smoking rooms' floor as well. Though my room was a non-smoking room and once inside it was smoke & smell free the hallway & elevator bay were unbearable. A few times it was so bad I had to hold my breathe down the hall. Frankly it never occured to me to ask for a floor without smoking rooms near by as it has been CA law for years that smoking not be allowed inside public buildings. Mehr

Stayed at this hotel going and returning from overseas vacation. Staff was polite and corteous. Rooms very clean and modern. Beds were comfortable and location was off the freeway and easy access to SFO. No restaurant onsite. Had to go down the street 2 blocks to a competitor's hotel to eat.

"BW Coyote Point"
Excellent! Great Price Clean, well appointed rooms Easy access to freeway Friendly and helpful staff One of my favorite hotels to stay at in the SF area (without the hustle & bustle of the city, no parking problems, and without the price!)

"Coyote Point Inn San Mateo CA"
The room was very nice. Was on the second floor, and I like to sleep with my window open but could not open and leave the window open as the second floor had a small railed area that went all the way in front of each rooms window, and there was no screen on the window. It would be easy for someone from the next room to climb out their window and get […] to your window. I had to leave the wall unit under the window on all night to pull in the fresh air.......that was a little noisy. The 3rd and 4th floors did not have this railed area in front of the windows. The bed was very comfortable considering I have a bad hip and sleeping in any bed is a challenge. The breakfast was very decent, waffle, fresh fruit, juices, toast, coffee, milk, cereals, yogurt, eggs. No meat served. The staff seemed to keep the food replenished. The people at the desk were very courteous and friendly. It was a litt hard to find the hotel the first try, coming from San Francisco, but I had also just driven 11 hours to get there and I was a little rummy. This is what you have to do coming from SF.......take 3rd Ave east, cross over 101, stay to right to get back on 101 north heading back to SF, to take the very next exit which is Dore Street. As you can see, coming from Palo Alto area you just take the Dore Street exit, take first left and the hotel is just a couple of block on your right. It is right on the freeway but I like the sound of traffic so that does not bother me, and there is a big cement wall parallel to freeway and the street the hotel is on which cuts down some of the traffic noise. This hotel was a little further from where my daughter lived than I expected.......but it was really only about a 20min drive to Palo Alto and it was very convenient being so close to the freeway.....it was a little challenging getting back on the freeway to go southbound but once I figured it out it was not an issue either. The room was very spacious, plenty of room, clean quite and had a nice view. Staff were very nice and courtious. Breakfast was good. Easy access off the highway and a straight shot to the airport.
