Ich kann das Hotel nicht empfehlen. Während meines Aufenthaltes fühlte ich mich unsicher. Die Flure waren sehr dreckig und stanken nach Urin. Das Zimmer roch nach Chemikalien und die Rezeption mit gepanzerter Scheibe gibt zu denken! Das einzig Positive war kostenloses WLAN.

Motel ist ok. Gute Verkehrsanbindung zu Washgington DC. Allerdings sind die Zimmer nicht so wie in der Beschreibung. Sie sind klein, aber sauber und ordentlich.

The hotel was in a good location about 5 blocks from the Red line Metro to DC in Silver Spring. The room on the other hand was not to my satisfaction. On the website the rooms look very nice and clean and upgraded, but at least the room we stayed in was not updated. The rug looked old. The walls had cracks and chips on them. The pillows were worn out. […] The bed cover looked like it has not been washed in a few years. The surrounding area is going through a lot of construction so it looked like the hotel was full of construction guys. Mehr

I loved that the location was very ideal to my desired meeting location...about 15 minutes away! However, I did not like the shabbiness of the hotel (i.e., run-down looking inside of hotel, piping for shower exposed, and overall grungy appearance). The room in general, the room was good. The things that were not perfect was the bathroom room that dragged on the floor and didn't close properly and not all cable channels came in clear on the television

Drab drapes and bedspread - did not match. Important to a woman. Otherwise ok.

The room smelled like smoke with a chemical smell over it. Plus burn holes in the blanket on bed. Hotel needs a major overhaul. Pot smoking neighbors & sketchy people hanging around. Glass barriers at desk at check in. Not a recommended hotel.

The hotel room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff (especially the cleaning staff) was very nice. It was 10 minutes by foot to the Silver Spring metro station and close to a supermarket. There are a lot of ethnic restaurants in the surrounding area too. The neighborhood was very quiet and pretty safe, even by night. I would definitely stay […] there again if I went to DC. Terrible , bed bugs , no microwave I'n room, when called they brought it 24 hrs later... Never staying again..!

Bed uncomfortable and hard, pillows flat. No coffee-maker. TV old and blurry. Hallways and staircases dirty. Bedside lamps dead. Neighborhood crappy!

I read many bad reviews after booking this room for my husband. Oops... So, I just told him to be prepared and that he might need to have extra socks and his own pillow & sheets. He was pleasantly surprised. He received a room with new carpet and he said his room was clean. The front desk staff was courteous. The room was quiet. The hotel was ideally […] situated to where he was going - and to DC without having to pay the big city prices. He enjoyed the shuttle during operating hours. The neighborhood was okay. Not the best but he felt safe enough. Overall, he got what he paid for and like I said was pleasantly surprised. I did not like the Days Inn. I traveled for business purposes and the desk was too small, the heater was unplugged and the electrical outlet that was designed for the heater was loose from the wall and looked unsafe. The mattress on the bed was yuckky!!!! and the room location really did not feel safe. On the bright side ... the room was clean, the […] towels were clean, the lock on the door did work and it was relatively quiet except for a few noisy people coming in and out of their rooms. I was not expecting much as far as breakfast and size of the room since I was going to see family. I didnt expect the condition of the tub and toilet paper holder. It was unclear if it was dirty or poorly maintained. I ended up showering at my family's house didnt feel comfortable enough to chance it. Upon check in the toilet paper roll was less than […] a quarter left was not concerned the first night since we got in so late and left fairly early. Took for granted that when housekeeping came in the AM they would replenish the roll. Upon arrival late the next night the same roll was there even than less1/4 left. Called front desk, which took additional time for someone to pick up and was told I have to come and get a roll. which required me to get dressed and go to the front desk as we werent in the same building as customer serivce. There area was not the best but since we were driving was not to concerned. Mehr

When I arrived at the hotel I was told that the room I had reserved was was no longer available.I offered a smaller bed in a non-smoking room which smelled like WEED and cigar smoke. I was not offered any compensation. Customer service was totally horrid. I will never return to your hotel or use your booking center number and web site.

Worst wireless connection I've had to put up with! Takes at least 20 minutes just to check your email...

Lovely and professional people, but the building itself needs a big overhaul. I don't care about a fancy building, but the showers need to be repaired, the cracks in the ceiling need to be fixed, the wallpaper needs to be redone, and so on. The staff here couldnt have been more helpful. The rooms do need updating. It was about 5 minutes walking from the nearest metro station. Also 5 minutes to Silver Spring town centre with loads of bars and restaurants.

This hotel was very good. Great rates via kayak. Great location.

Didn't realize the area wasn't great but the hotel was clean and convenient to where I had to go.

The hotel was old and is not well maintained. The room was dingy.

A good price for the area BUT parking is terrible, Towels are in short supply carpet is strangely damp (beds are comfortable) The worst is the outdoor metal stairs--up to 3 floor climb and very slipery in the rain. Not for the faint of heart.

A bit pricy given the motel is a bit shabby - rugs a bit worn, shower pressure weak, water not very worn, skimpy towels, location hard to get to. Not what I expect from Days Inn chain.

Don't use this hotel unless you want a cheap night in a dirty room. The locks barely worked and I got a smoking room instead of a nonsmoking room.

Place looks decent enough for short term business stay as you are out most of the time. Only complain is the smell of stale cigarettes and insecticide. Staff were pleasnt and friendly. The neighbourhood was interesting and very quiet. If they can get rid of the smell don't mind staying there again.

this hotel is falling apart literally. Electrical outlets come out of the wall, any hangers will drop down once you hang a shirt on it. Frightening. Looks like a place just minutes before demolition. Be aware.

Dirty rooms ... Furniture is old ... Not enough parking lots ... DONT go there ..

The Days Inn is closer to everything like restaurant, mall, Washington DC site etc. The hotel is a bit old and needs to be remodel to encourage guest to come back.

The hotel staff were not very friendly, customer service was not good. The rooms were horrible, the carpet was so dirty had to wear shoes all the time. The showee curtain was too small so water was all over the floor. They didn't clean the rooms or offer clean towels. I hope this location does not represent the entire Days Inn hotel chain.

I booked this hotel based on location and price, and was not disappointed in either. I did not expect too much, and got about what I expected. The room was adequate, though could have been cleaner. There were some water stains and poorly done patches on the ceilings, but no actual leaks. The non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke . . . really the […] only thing that actively bothered me at all. The staff at the desk were uniformly very pleasant. I was visiting family. Staff was friendly and arranged for early check-in. Also the outdoor pool was refreshing. The sheets and towels were clean. Unfortunately, found a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and toilet. This hotel is very, very dirty. I even felt like the bed linens were dirty too. There is no way to control the air conditioning in the room. The phone kept ringing on the hour all night long. I finally unplugged it. I did not have anyone come by and wake me like they promised. To get ice for your room, you have to go over to a Subway Restaurant (go […] figure) and ask for it. The room was tiny. Internet did not work. The carpet was wet in the closet. TV picture quality was terrible.

hardly any hot water, saw a couple of bugs...checked out 3 days early on a pre-paid room

we booked because it is affordable for DC area. according to google maps, it is 10 miles away from the National Mall (on side street). What sold it for me is that it is close to Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Little do i know that i will be driving through the seedy part of DC. If you take I-495, it is time consuming and far.

I had reservations for 3 nights. The first night, I had to stay in a smoking room because I was told they were oversold. They said they only needed to guarantee a room not what you reserved. They suggested I ask at the desk the next morning and see if they had availability on my original room request. They did and the rest of the stay was okay. If you do not mind waking to the sound of construction it would be a nice hotel. Nothing more than nice. Friendly crew, but room smelt like a wet dog, iron is attached to the ironing board by wire, towels are hard and thin, and I could see people passing by the door because of a gap in the door.

Hi, All. My stay was good but I have a little concern about about the rooms that is located in the small parting lot. I felt like I was in an cheat motel. However, the rooms in the large parking near the main entrance seem much like the name of "Days Inn". My next visit I will request to have a room in the main near the office.
