The room I was shown on the on-line site was different than what I got when I arrived. Furtinure was broke and the room was over crowed with decorations.

It was clean but the maid service could have been better. They could have vaccuumed daily instead of every other day. Also, one day they forgot to leave towels and i had to get them from the main desk.

Wonderful Hotel for family vacation. There is food, swimming pool, and the beach all right there. The rooms are large and the kitchen equipped with everything you need. However, there was this very loud vibrating sound that came from the bathroom at any given time. It would last about a minute the stop, but it woke me up each time. We spent 3 nights during spring break. I would hesitate to pay full seaon rates for this hotel. It was ~ 75% booked and still crowded at the pools. Full season when the place is nearly full the pools and elevators will be an issue. Parking is a pain in a multisory garage with the elevator broken. Good experience. Not to far from aquarium circle. Heated pool convenience for my kids.

I stayed at Baywatch several times and was very satisfied. I then decided to stay at another hotel which was cheaper. Trying to accommodate in-laws. I could not wait to get back to Baywatch. From now on its Baywatch. Spacious clean rooms and large enough to have a vacation while on vacation.

Ok hotel seemed to have some maintenance issues with pools and elevators on site restaurant pricey no comp breakfast

We stayed in the 2BR suite with a sofa bed in the LR area. Loved the kitchenette. Very spacious and very nice. Very clean. Enjoyed my stay.

From walking through the lobby doors till turning in my electronic key card, my stay was wonderful. Beyond what i expected.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. Between the resort and hotels.com they booked the wrong room and was still over charged. I couldn't even look out the windows!

At check in no one bothered to mention the elevator in the parking garage was broken. My boyfriend is disabled and we had to park on the 3rd floor and walk up and down the stairs! It was 33 degrees.

Excellent ocean views, plenty of room for two, and same room can function with 4 or 5. The surrounding area is packed with a variety of restaurants and entertainment. Bring food, the kitchen is decent for cooking. Flat screens in bed and lounge area. Overall a good stay.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay at the hotel.

My family has stayed at many condo/hotels in this area over the past 6 years. We come back to Bay Watch since they have numerous swimming pools for the kids, both indoors and outdoors. They are very close to Grand Strand airport. They are ocean front and have a restaurant on main floor, and a bar/lounge area for the adults. It has the amentieis a family […] with small children desire, centrally located, and prices are reasonable. I will continue staying at Bay Watch. Mehr

This was a great place for a weekend getaway, All the amenities you could need. There were a ton of pools to choose from so they were never to crowded. The only reason i gave it a 4 was because it could use a little updating only as far as the aesthetics. The only bad experience I had was the bar tender was really rude, when we were trying to order […] lunch by the pool side bar/restaurant. I would def. stay here again and recommend to others. Mehr

Besides having to fight through Hurricane Irene and the effects, we definitely enjoyed our stay!! It would have been nice if our DVD player worked in the room though. We told the housekeeper and she stated she would tell maintenance, but no one never showed to fix it. Thanks for a relaxing vacation.

Check in was very slow.The woman at the desk must have been having a bad day.Wasn't very friendly ..The second day we never got room service at all. We had to call the desk to have towels brought up.Was woke up twice by someone at desk wanting to know if anyone was in the room????? Location is conveniant. The tower we stayed in, is in need of a paint job, externally and internally. Walls have marks, scrapes on them. Little things could improve the overall cleanliness as: trash containers by elevators need washed. The hallway to pools & beach was always wet & muddy. Install rubber mats to prevent slipping. 2 band aides were stuck on the doorway across […] from ours. Cleaning personnel should pay more attention. We had 5 in room, left notes for staff to leave additional towels. Only left 4 each day. Room layout and location are good. Small things could make it better. Mehr

Air conditioner would not go below 74 degrees, toilet paper hard to find, bathroom floor dirty, only 3 sets of towels given per day, when we had a party of 4. No room to store groceries.

Must Read: Wish someone would have told me..Spent enough on a 3 bedroom to rent a house on the beach only to find out there is a public access to the beach right beside the hotel. Beach was almost standing room only every day. Chair and umbrella rentals literately set up on top of our stake out after we where there. No alcohol on beach (state law apparently […] to keep the redneck Riviera folks from heading north) or around pool unless you buy a $6 tap draft for the pool bar. Then you have to deal with the foul mouth security folks about having a cooler by the pool when its 102 heat index. Besides that, they do do a good job gazing at 16 year olds. Room service was every other day at best. Good for families with small kids and folks who enjoy the sound of the ocean lapping against the sand combined with 4 dozen kids screaming because the sand was too hot and they left their flip flops at home. Pass for relaxation and older kids. Other than that..... Mehr

Nothing special. There are a lot of water areas (pools, lazy rivers, hot tubs). The beach is crowded. Room was average.

The hotel is very nice and clean. My only problems were that we had a room for 4 adults and 3 children at the age of 15. When we checked in we were informed that we were only allowed 1 parking space for the room we had reserved. I couldn't believe that they didn't allow but one space for you to park knowing you had 7 people in one room. I understand […] some couples may have 4 and 5 children but that was not my case. The only other thing and its minor!!! When we go on vacation we arrive early but we also leave way earlier than most people. Check in was at 4 and I understand that but this is the first hotel I've ever stayed at that once we arrived it took us until right at 4 to get in our room. They said they sent someone straight to the room to clean and it still took around 5 hrs to get in. I thoght maybe 2 to 3 but 5 come on! I did love the fact that the hotel lights up the beach for you at night and they have somekind of entertainment everynight. All in all I would say its a great place to stay. Mehr

We went to Myrtle Beach and stay in the hotel just for one night.., the hotel is not in very good conditions, it needs to be renovate, the location is excellent, but the staffing isn't friendly.., the rooms are ok, but it looks old... I wouldn't recommend the hotel..

Fantastic place for 7 college age students. Few complaints but a lot more compliments. The elevators sometimes didn't work in the hotel and the garage. The Wi-Fi in the bedroom was not that great nor was cell phone service but when you got outside or in the living room it was better, (we had a 1 bedroom that could sleep 8). The water park that was given […] to us by the hotel was a lot of fun. It took no more than 5 minutes to get from our room to the beach. We had an amazing time and the staff at the Bay Watch Resort could not have been any nicer. Mehr

My husband and I really needed a week of relaxation and fun. That is exactly what we got at Baywatch. The room was nice and the balcony offered us a beautiful view of the pristine beaches of North Myrtle Beach. We had a wonderful time and we will definetly stay at Baywatch again.

Arriving at the hotel my expectations were very high for a great weekend with my wife. As I stood at the entry of the registration line I couldn't help but wonder what the three agents were doing considering they didn't have anyone in front of them, but there I stood for almost 5 minutes without being recognized. When I was finally called forward I […] was told my room was not ready and it would be another 35 to 40 minutes. I went back to my vehicle to wait out the time only to be told it would be at least another 45 minutes. All totaled I wait a little over 4 hours to get my room without as much as an apology............. thanks for the great time Mehr

The location and amenities of the hotel were very nice. It has seen better days. It was fairly clean, but had some issues. Our suite had sand in almost every corner, especially in the bathroom. The furnishings were stained, torn, and generally worn out. On the other hand, the beach was gorgeous. The pools, though in rough shape, were fun to play in. […] The "included" water park is far away from the hotel, but enjoyable. (A forth-five minute drive, at least.) The staff is friendly and attentive. Great shopping and restaurants are just a few miles down the road. With a make-over, this would be a terrific resort. Mehr

I would probably stay here again but not for the amount we paid to stay this time. It is an average hotel at best for the Myrtle Beach area. The elevators didnt work a couple of times 2 out of the 3 would be out of order at any given time.

The front dest staff is not farmiliar with the area and provides minimal help to the customers. Check in time is 4pm but if you're room is booked you must leave by 11am, doesn't matter if you are willing to pay. You will not be able to go anywhere without a car rental. We used Hertz and they delivered the car at a reasonable price..Just remember to […] tell them you are in NORTH Myrtle beach. The water for indoor lazy river is dirty looking. Mehr

Outstanding customer service! Kind, Friendly and most of all Courteous. Great room with awesome view. Spent three days during Bike Week, excellent parking and security arrangement for Motorcycles, I have stayed here twice and certainly will stay again.

Nice property with lots of amenities. Some updates would make this a stellar property. The beds needed new ma tresses: extremely hard and the walls needed painting. Also there was an odor in the bedroom.
